Maybe it’s some sort of deep statement that’s supposed to make us all think. Perhaps it means something different to all of us.

To me, it means that I’ll be having tacos and champagne for dinner tomorrow.

What does it mean to you?

    Palin Changes Line of Succession

“”"If both Palin and Parnell left office early, Schmidt would become governor.

Schmidt started in the prison system back in 1988 as an officer at Spring Creek Correctional Center. Before he became commissioner, he was superintendent of the Point MacKenzie Correctional Farm.

Last year the Alaska Correctional Officers Association voted against him in a “no confidence” measure. But Palin stood behind him and called him a reformer.

Schmidt and Palin go way back. They went to high school together in Wasilla. McAllister said he didn’t have information Friday on why she appointed him to the line of succession.

The Legislature still must confirm Schmidt’s new place.”"”

Hey, news on the US Atty. in AK situation: http://www.adn.com/news/politics/story/705358.html

U.S. Attorney Nelson Cohen said Friday he is returning to Pittsburgh, leaving the job he accepted on an interim basis in August 2006. His replacement, also on an interim basis, will be assistant U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler.

Dowl, I too also thought that it was a sideways emoticon and I was thinking to myself, am I missing the inside joke? Of course I had to check out the comments to see what was going on.

By the way, is anyone else starting to get stuck on the Palinese habit of over using also too though and again? I started out doing it as a joke around my politically aware friends, but now I find myself doing it all the time.

I notice this post has no categories. I suggest ‘blog comments’ ‘compulsive commenters’ and perhaps ‘pajama posts’, I have considered, but don’t think it meets the standard for YCMTSU.

This would also be a good place to note, though I spent a very short time on Team Sarah before I could no longer suppress my natural inclination to encourage independent thinking, that it seems none of the Team Sarah members have funny names spinning off of ‘Obama’ unlike mudpuppies who have a glorious array of entertaining names playing off of ‘Palin’.

Also, too, we make fun of ourselves and though most of us are happy with our Pres, have no trouble considering imperfections, unlike the teeny bopper style adoration found on the Sarah sites. I think that speaks well for our general mental, pajama-clad healthiness.

Mudpuppies, you never fail to bring a happy smile, or to make me LOL with your witty and often scathing asides. To Mona Lisa’s brave admission I now, too, also state: “Hi. My name is Magyar and I am a Palinista .”

  25. 25

P.S. I meant to type Palinaholic instead of Palinista! Now I am really confused! Does the latter term refer to someone who disagrees with SP’s politics or agrees? I can’t stand the woman and what she stands for, so how should I be referring to myself? Help…
