He said that the military is giving wavers to criminals because they can't recruit enough young people due to the war in Iraq. He asked this fantastic rhetorical question, "Who would you rather work with, a gay person or a drug dealer? The way things are going right now, I don't have a choice." And Barry Winchell Courage Award winner Maj. Margaret Witt told me she was fighting her discharge to continue the fight he was the first to wage in 1975.
