Palin Family Drama… It Never Ends.

Well, the internets are all a-flame with the latest antics of the Palin clan. It now seems that the Johnston’s are going to appear on The Tyra Banks Show this coming Monday. We’ve been teased and tantalized with hints that Sarah and Todd Palin knew that the two young lovebirds, were….how shall we put this delicately…. intimate, before the not-so surprising arrival of the little bundle of joy. This, of course, is now huge news because the Johnstons have decided to make it….huge news. One would imagine that the cool-turned-frosty relationship between the Palins and the Johnstons has now plummeted to Absolute Zero.
Johnston’s mother, Sherry, and sister, Mercede, who also appear on the show, said they were under a gag order from the McCain campaign during the presidential race.
Mercede said, “We were supposed to say that all questions need be brought up to the McCain campaign. Other than that we had to say no comment.”
In the interview, the family dishes extensively about Palin’s family, the presidential campaign, Johnston’s relationship with Bristol Palin and the “real reasons” they are no longer together after having a child together.
Johnston said he and Bristol Palin practiced safe sex “most of the time.”
Johnston showed off a “Bristol” tattoo on his ring finger.
Well, obviously now the gag is off, much to the dismay of the Palins. To those last two sentences I can only say: 1) That must be why she didn’t get pregnant ‘most of the time,’ only some of the time. And 2) That’s gonna hurt.
Confirming the Absolute Zero supposition is this acidic razor-tongued response from, of course, Meg Stapleton:
“Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We’re disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship,” says the statement from the Palin family rep.
“Bristol’s focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence,” the statement continues. “It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child.”
Stapleton can speak with authority on this, because the Palins know better than most about how quests for fame and attention can lead to flat-out lies, gross exaggerations and even distortions. Yes, they do.
And may I humbly suggest that instead of “advocating abstinence”, Bristol should consider advocating BIRTH CONTROL. Just a thought.
I don’t know which family is the Hatfields and which one is the McCoys, but I believe we are witnessing the beginning of a family feud that will go down in the annals of Alaskan history.
Remember when Mercede Johnston was lamenting that the Palins thought of her and her family as “white trash” and thought they weren’t good enough for the Palins after the arrest of their mother Sherry Johnston for dealing oxy-contin in the parking lot of the Wasilla Target store?
Well… This just in.
[Todd Palin's half-sister] Diana Palin is charged with two counts of felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and theft in connection with the break-ins this week at a home in Wasilla, the governor’s hometown.
Deputy Wasilla Police Chief Greg Wood says the 35-year-old woman was confronted by the homeowner, who hid in the home to see if he could catch the burglar who stole $400 Tuesday night.
I don’t watch reality TV, nor do I watch soap operas. Nor do I need to.
As we near the 5:00 hour on a Friday afternoon here in Alaska, I would like to make an official request of the universe. I’m not sure exactly how to do that, but all this extra level of craziness started happening right around the time the volcano erupted, so perhaps that has something to do with it. So I will turn and face the direction of the volcano, and speak loudly and clearly with my request. You may all join in as you are willing and able.

I would very much like to request a day where nothing happens. I’d even be happy with half a day, if it seems like too much to ask for a whole one. I don’t want to be greedy. I want one like the good old days where the big news on the front page of the Anchorage Daily News was that a raven had flown into a power line causing a power outage in one part of town, and that the Dimond High Lynx had just won the big game. Just one day. If it’s not too much trouble.
I know you’re busy with all the fuming, and spewing, and everything, so thanks for taking the time to listen and consider my request.

She is apparently on her third marriage, she’s had her Permanent Fund checks garnished due to two judgments obtained against her, and has lots of traffic violations. There are 20 entries in all. Yikes.
I have a serious problem with that public web page. They should NOT list Ms. Palin’s date of birth. With all the ID theft going on out there, exposing someone’s DOB to the public is not a good idea.

Yes, her daughter was with her and told police that she had been there before with her mom, hence the arrest for two break-ins. A third break-in earlier is still in question.
If this is the case the police need to add child endangerment to their charges and possibly take this child away from her. Considering how many people in Alaska own guns, taking her child with her was foolhardy at best and criminal at worst. What if the homeowner had shot at Palin, missed and hit her child.

hey, hey HEY!!!!!!!!!!! Many of my briends are menopausal or premenopausal – none of them became mean as a snake, began lying compulsively, or started pimping their kids out for free publicity. On the other hand, I’ve know women AND men of all ages who displayed those traits when they became obsessed with power, free perks, and being the center of attention whenever possible.

It’s why Wes Keller can be seated by a small, behind doors, meeting of Republicans and Dorfy has to be shot down by the entire legislature in open public forum. It’s why Rod Blagojevich is guilty but Ted Stevens is innocent.
I hope Ted Stevens does run against Palin for governor and beats her in the primaries. I hope Alaska has someone that can beat Ted for governor. If not…well…at least you’ll know exactly what you’re getting.

What? Didn’t Bristol tell Greta that abstinence is pretty much impossible? How about she advocate birth control which is much more effective at preventing pregnancy. If Bristol had been on birth control, she wouldn’t have gotten pregnant.

Yup – Once you are arrested , it’s public record. They use DOB as the way to make sure they have the right person. At least they don’t use the SSN , which is where the real ID theft damage can occur.

Does anyone know the last name of baby Tripp? I ask this because I wonder if on the birth certificate Tripp is listed as a “Palin” or a “Johnston”. I would think a good Christian women who knows the name of the father would give him credit on the child’s birth certificate….and this would give Levi some rights.

Did the McCain campaign spend 5 min. vetting Palin? Were they so desperate for an anti-choice, evangelical, conservative, female candidate that they thought they could overlook the reality of this woman’s life? She was a disasterous politician before she was elevated by the RNC. Now she is dangerous because she is so convinced of her own superiority by her recent elevation by a deteriorating repub. party & a celebrity obsessed media. I hope Levi J. ‘discloses’ his head off about the Palins. Hopefully, it will keep Palin from successfully unseating Begich, if nothing else. I feel badly for Bristol & Levi, they are being used & exploited by everyone, including their own families.

I read that Levi tells Tyra that he moved into the Palin house a week or 2 weeks before Tripp was born. This is curious because Levi quit his North Slope gig on January 5th. That would make Tripps actual birthdate no earlier than mid-to late January. If it is true, as some have said, that Trig was born in February, the babies would be at least 10 months apart. I think they call that Irish Twins.

Please Alaska, tell me you won’t re-elect this chick. The Hatfields, McCoys and the Bevery Hillbillies, COMBINED, have nothing on her. If she was as calm as Jed maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. But she’s more like Granny, “JED, git the gun, we gon’ shot the varmints,” so, slap an L to the head, because that’s a loser. But that response to Levi without even seeing the interview, or maybe she did, was ridiculous. Some one ought to call her Wasilla witchdoctor, he might heal her from her “footinmouth” disease.
Now, my question is, does Levi see his baby? If he doesn’t there another rounds of stories to entertain us, or make us cry. TAKE BRISTOL TO COURT NOW LEVI!!!. Save your child, ask for full custody.

Bronislawa – Charcoal Sniper P is in Vermont, and they did have the Levi episode on there today. Hopefully yours will show up sometime this week.
