Palin Family Drama… It Never Ends.
Well, the internets are all a-flame with the latest antics of the Palin clan. It now seems that the Johnston’s are going to appear on The Tyra Banks Show this coming Monday. We’ve been teased and tantalized with hints that Sarah and Todd Palin knew that the two young lovebirds, were….how shall we put this delicately…. intimate, before the not-so surprising arrival of the little bundle of joy. This, of course, is now huge news because the Johnstons have decided to make it….huge news. One would imagine that the cool-turned-frosty relationship between the Palins and the Johnstons has now plummeted to Absolute Zero.
Johnston’s mother, Sherry, and sister, Mercede, who also appear on the show, said they were under a gag order from the McCain campaign during the presidential race.
Mercede said, “We were supposed to say that all questions need be brought up to the McCain campaign. Other than that we had to say no comment.”
In the interview, the family dishes extensively about Palin’s family, the presidential campaign, Johnston’s relationship with Bristol Palin and the “real reasons” they are no longer together after having a child together.
Johnston said he and Bristol Palin practiced safe sex “most of the time.”
Johnston showed off a “Bristol” tattoo on his ring finger.
Well, obviously now the gag is off, much to the dismay of the Palins. To those last two sentences I can only say: 1) That must be why she didn’t get pregnant ‘most of the time,’ only some of the time. And 2) That’s gonna hurt.
Confirming the Absolute Zero supposition is this acidic razor-tongued response from, of course, Meg Stapleton:
“Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We’re disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship,” says the statement from the Palin family rep.
“Bristol’s focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence,” the statement continues. “It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child.”
Stapleton can speak with authority on this, because the Palins know better than most about how quests for fame and attention can lead to flat-out lies, gross exaggerations and even distortions. Yes, they do.
And may I humbly suggest that instead of “advocating abstinence”, Bristol should consider advocating BIRTH CONTROL. Just a thought.
I don’t know which family is the Hatfields and which one is the McCoys, but I believe we are witnessing the beginning of a family feud that will go down in the annals of Alaskan history.
Remember when Mercede Johnston was lamenting that the Palins thought of her and her family as “white trash” and thought they weren’t good enough for the Palins after the arrest of their mother Sherry Johnston for dealing oxy-contin in the parking lot of the Wasilla Target store?
Well… This just in.
[Todd Palin's half-sister] Diana Palin is charged with two counts of felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and theft in connection with the break-ins this week at a home in Wasilla, the governor’s hometown.
Deputy Wasilla Police Chief Greg Wood says the 35-year-old woman was confronted by the homeowner, who hid in the home to see if he could catch the burglar who stole $400 Tuesday night.
I don’t watch reality TV, nor do I watch soap operas. Nor do I need to.
As we near the 5:00 hour on a Friday afternoon here in Alaska, I would like to make an official request of the universe. I’m not sure exactly how to do that, but all this extra level of craziness started happening right around the time the volcano erupted, so perhaps that has something to do with it. So I will turn and face the direction of the volcano, and speak loudly and clearly with my request. You may all join in as you are willing and able.
Dear Political Gods and Powers that Be Who May or May Not Take the Form of a Gigantic Angry Lava Dome,
I would very much like to request a day where nothing happens. I’d even be happy with half a day, if it seems like too much to ask for a whole one. I don’t want to be greedy. I want one like the good old days where the big news on the front page of the Anchorage Daily News was that a raven had flown into a power line causing a power outage in one part of town, and that the Dimond High Lynx had just won the big game. Just one day. If it’s not too much trouble.

I’m enjoying this blog. I hadn’t linked off of dailykos.com until today. thanks for all the good work, mudflats. having a wry sense of humor apparently is an asset in Alaska when viewing the political scene. it doesn’t get much better than this soap opera.
It seems at the beginning of every week, I wonder, what antics will be played out for the world to see regarding our Gino and her family. I am with you on requesting a day that nothing happens when it comes to our Gino and her tribe/ilk. Something is “Also” going on over at Palins Deceptions blog, a new posting, but you can’t pull it up? I wonder what they have “Also” uncovered? It’s tylenol time.

At Huff Post they have a story up that Levi was on an MSNBC program already and said that he and Bristol were allowed to share a bedroom at the Palin abode so of course the parents knew they were sexually active. As Levi is quoted as saying, ” Sarah must have known because mothers are pretty smart”.

Oh, Meg is so funny. How would Sarah have really known anything about Levi and Bristol’s relationship since it appears she was away from home enough for the two to play the creation game? Was she standing there while they were doing the horizontal tango? Maybe she was just in another room of the house. Wouldn’t the gross exaggeration and distortion of the relationship be the nonsense that flowed from Sarah’s lips and the campaign clowns while she was making herself famous? All that harmonious they’re just 2 young lovebirds that went too far but the fix will be a shotgun marriage. Quick grab the both of them, shower them up and scrub them down, whip some expensive threads on them and present them, literally, to the world as stand up, role model conservatives’ kids for Sarah’s political future. Pfffft.
It just floors me that everything that so-called conservatives stand for the Palins have violated and yet they STILL think that woman could be President someday. Their hypocrisy knows no end.

I am surprised….no, actually, shocked….that Sarah via Meg would trash Levi over a yet-to-be-aired appearance….trash Levi for statements communicated to us as ‘teasers’. According to my carefully saved Dick Tracy’s Crimestoppers Handbook, if someone burglarizes a house, takes a substantial amount of money, and then comes back to the same house a few days later, he or she was not after money, but something else, and took the money to make it look like an ordinary burglary. I wonder if the burglar knew the homeowner, and what else the burglar knew.
I suspect the Tyra show has been in the works for some time. Sherry requested permission from the court to travel out of state three weeks ago, after her trial was rescheduled from Mar 23 to May.
I’m sorry, Sarah, but Bristol is not advocating abstinence.

Okay this is what I want to know. The report said Diana Palin’s husband found out that she had been arrested because the police called to have him come pick up his four year old daughter. Did she actually burglarize a house WITH her daughter? I know it’s a stretch but why else would the police have the child?
This is the second time Gino has had “Meg the Mouth” put out that Bristol did not know that Levi was doing an interview. If they are not a couple he does not have to clear his schedules with her!!! He is probably trying to earn a little cash to live on and help pay Mom’s atty fees and hopefully help pay little Tripps expenses.

Yes, her daughter was with her and told police that she had been there before with her mom, hence the arrest for two break-ins. A third break-in earlier is still in question.

Of course Sarah will stand, spiked boots akimbo, in camo gear holding one of those oversized movie assault weapons.

I don’t read anonymous blogs. Never have, never will. I am not interested in hearing anything anyone has to say if they are not willing to stand behind what they say. If they are not willing to potentially suffer the consequences of what they write.
But since Doogan “outed” you and revealed your name I started to read your blog. Now that you are on record I’m in. And may I say I have enjoyed it immensely. Your writing is compelling but you already knew that.
I doubt I will agree with much of what you write, but you should take comfort in the fact that you are reaching someone who does not hold your world view but is willing to listen to the other side of the story. I assume preaching to the choir is not why you make the sacrifice you do to put together such a labor intensive, quality web page.

Alright everyone….Obviously, Sherry Johnston’s attorney had to be privy to this interview on the Tyra Banks show. So if the rumor is true that Gino is not a hip hop kind of gal, does anyone else have a feeling that Mr. Rhet Butler is laughing about this? Since Sherry Johnston had to get permission to leave AK, I’m betting the family trip to Tyra will have been discussed with her lawyer. I hope the lawyer is the one who encouraged Levi to go. Levi can get his paternal rights from a court with no problem, but he can’t get Sarah Palin off his back without a certain amount of power.
I’m hoping his family’s appearance on Tyra is a shot across Sarah’s bow. I imagine Levi is privy to a lot of Sarah’s dirty laundry.

And we here in NJ were appalled by our gov’s driver speeding up the Parkway or Turnpike (don’t remember which highway) while the gov was not belted in and smashing into a guardrail. There are stories of his having an affair or dating the head of the state employees’ union (I think that’s what union it was).
Obviously, Sarah’s antics are much more interesting and attention grabbing than what goeson in my own state. We’re just headed for bankruptcy. Not interesting at all.

After a long, hard day I sat down to read your latest entry and laughed out loud with your request from the Universe…so now I’m ready to tackle the evening with a smile thanks to you.
Why is this such a shock to anyone?
SP was an incompetent Mayor who rode the conservative republican wave into a position that she was not qualified for. Her incompetence is showing by her unprofessional behaviors, her ethical violations and her lack of achievements during this legislative session.
People were so enamored of her smile and perky retorts but did not look at her record and really question her achievements. We know she “fibs” when needed and lies when she has to.
Finally, finally during the Presidential campaign, palin was questioned and her actions and “fibs” brought out in the fresh air.
I feel sorry for Bristol and Levi. 2 kids involved in politics through no fault of their own. Now we will be treated to the he said/she said spectacle that does no one any good and leaves casulties.
All this could have been avoided if palin had just said “Thanks, but no thanks!!”

IMO Levi is entitled to speak. Bristol gave her interview, I’m sure without advising Levi. I look forward to hearing how he was silenced by Palin through the campaign. Palin, knowing she’ll be busy, had to rush out a statement today as to the Levi interview, which is based totally on Show teases as it hasn’t aired. Her accusing Levi of all the things she has done on too numerous occasions to mention, and continuing to do so even in the release. Bristol and advocating abstinence. Really.
I see Palin the same way I do Elisabeth Hasselbeck of the View — When her lips are moving, her ears close. She didn’t hear Bristol at all in her interivew.
Levi has every right to speak. Bristol did her’s which probably was not initially known to Levi. Both the kids are of age. There is no silencing them if they so wish to speak. I look forward to hearing how Palin silenced him during the campaign and whatever other tidbits of info are disclosed!! I’m sure Palin has dogged Levi in conversations with friends, office staff, et al.

Re: SP’s “masterful” stimulus funds letter. Give. me. a. break.
As has been pointed out about a zillion times, Alaska is the federal dollars poster child. Given that we do not have personal income tax, our state’s budget is fueled by federal dollars & oil dollars. BOTH come with strings attached! Federal dollars, whether in a stimulus package or not, have conditions placed upon them. We’ve been getting a disproportionate amount of them forever, with those conditions, therefore the strings argument is thin, to put it mildly (and nicely, because it really deserves a F*&^%ing B*&^sh*&).
As far as the rest of our money, the oil money, well the strings attached are like this: if we do not have an alternate revenue stream (personal income tax, sales tax, etc), then we do not have any bargaining power to speak of. Hence the stalemate that the state finds itself in in terms of “negotiating” natural gas tax rates, trying to get a pipeline built, trying to get Exxon to develop Pt Thomson, etc etc — the state NEEDS the oil money, and ultimately the oil companies play along only as long as it benefits them. SP’s claim that she has been sticking it to the oil companies is only true in that she raised the tax rate to such a high rate that the independents were pushed out and the big companies elected to cut their spending in Alaska — they put out some pretty alarming budget info BEFORE the oil prices tanked. Further, it is my understanding that those taxation rates took advantage of the high oil prices, and raked in some pretty staggering amounts, however, when prices dropped below approx $80/bbl the state’s take became LESS that what it previously was. Any reasonably intelligent person knew that oil was not going to stay above $100 for any great length of time. Of course SP is not “reasonably intelligent” but some of the legislators are. It was totally ill-conceived. It is too easy in this state to lose sight of the fact that our bread is buttered by the evil oil companies, and the legislative dems have a tendency to pile on to any legislation that sticks it to them (taxes & AGIA!!!!).
Anyway, what it all boils down to is this: she is not in any position to wield ultimate power or make threats, not in regard to the stimulus money or anything else. She does not have any great power, the government (3 branches) just doesn’t work that way. I do like though, that the govs have to take the money or not take the money, no negotiating — it puts the responsibility for accepting/denying the funds right where it belongs.

First AKM, I feel for you and my new (what I feel to be) friends in Alaska. I know so much more about Alaska than I did before “that fateful day in August” as Deb above says. And I appreciate that you would like to go back to more gentle days. But as a resident in the Lower 48 who has been on pins and needles since that fateful day about SP getting too close to the position of President, I relish in this week’s events although I am just stunned today at how much is going on and I am having a hard time absorbing it all. More than ever I appreciate your blogs and your insight and all the time you take to comment on the never ending saga of the Palins. I truly from the bottom of my heart do hope that all turns out well for Alaska. My question tonight is what do these latest revelations say also about McCain and his campaign? These events, from the calling for Begich to resign, the lack of concern for the citizens of Alaska in turning down stimulus monies, the orchestrated interviews by Bristol, now Levi, in tabloid fashion, the arrest of a family member for burglary, perhaps leading to a total revelation of the family dynamics of SP and Todd, and children? These things cannot but reflect in my mind of just what was McCain thinking? Was he totally uninformed in his selection of a running mate when one of the primary criteria for that selection is “is this person qualified to assume role of POTUS if something happens to me?” Is this scary or what?

I doubt that very much of the Palins’ dirty laundry will be aired on the Tyra show, but if ratings are high it very well might open a door and make a way for further investigation by the tabloids, perhaps even by the MSM. At least the fact that a gag order was imposed on Levi and Bristol by the McCain-Palin presidential campaign will become public knowledge, exposing Palin for lying about their relationship to voters and the media. And her religious zealot supporters will be none too pleased should it be disclosed that she allowed the teens to share a bedroom in the family home. Palin will dispatch her spin doctor Stapleton to issue a sanctimonius and vindictive statement after the broadcast, painting the Johnstons as malicious ungodly degenerates and making reference to Sherry’s criminal charges. The tabloids will be all over the controversy like stink on a skunk, and Palin’s public image will continue to plummet as (given their nature as scandal sheets) more and more unflattering photos of her are published, repulsing shoppers while they stand waiting in supermarket checkout lines. This negative exposure will garner more public intigue as to her mental instability, unethical character and despotic manner of governing. MSM publishers and network bosses, wanting to turn her unfortunate celebrity into profits, will at last permit intrepid reporters to delve further into Palin’s gates – o.k., that last part is wishful thinking! But it could happen, especially if a particularly nefarious scandal is revealed. And I’m confident that F.B.I. investigations into her alleged criminal activities, (Dairygate and Housegate come to mind) will seal her fate as an American political pariah and a convicted criminal.

This blog is about AK politics, not AK policy. It’s true that Levi on Tyra has little to do with AK politics — however, when the spokesthing from SarahPAC is issuing press releases slamming him – then, you betcha, it’s political.
I’m looking at the location of people reading this blog.-
I want you all to know and believe me. Americans are not half as crazy as the subjects of this blog. I think we’re mostly decent trusting people and expect that others are decent as well. Some people take advantage of that trust and, this is what you get; a crazy bunch of manipulating SOBs that mess things up for the rest of us. The only reason it works as well as it does, is a court system thats not very corrupt, and free speech.

Diane Palin is not the Governor. Nor is Bristol, nor Levi Johnston.
Jimmy Carter had his brother Billy to groan over privately, I believe LBJ’s brother was also a concern to LBJ (who somehow had him out of the public eye); Reagan had – well, he had two kids that didn’t agree with Dad… A number of office holders have had “inconvenient” relatives. They can’t be faulted for that.
Then again, when the officeholder is just as goofy as the relatives, I guess that’s when you start wondering. If SP would just not jump into the fray, she might be able to stay OUT of the freakin’ fray. Distance herself from the idjits, y’know?

Yeppers…..Cogitate for a moment on the image of Sister Sarah purifying the earth. Nice to know that this dame will never achieve any more worldly power than she already has managed to finagle. Her rising star in the ranks of this sick politico-religious band is crashing and burning with more revelations of ethics violations and ineptitude every week. The family drama is a sideshow that has severely undercut the “planks” of her hypocritical “Family Values” platform.
My granny use to say, the trouble with being in the lime light so long is that lime isn’t a very good color, it’s bitter as h#ll, only goes good with margerettas and salt, which just makes the natives thirsty for more. Gino is beginning to see what it’s going to look like when the “base” take off their rose colored glasses and actually see what’s been in the Palin closets all along. They will just keep feeding her limes to find out how far she and the hillbilly clan can fall, then ask her to take a short walk over near the mouth of the volcano, some one is going to have to make that sacrificial dive for the good of the GOP and she sure is getting close enough to the edge, now just a little push and she’ll be in free fall.
With so many mouths to tape shut, I’d suggest all of the valley better run out and stock up on duck tape, there’s going to be a run on the supply in Hillbillyville, AK. So many songs birds wanting to sing, it looks like this spring is going to be very interesting as things warm up, waiting in the wings…Levi, Sister and the other Grandma….who will show up next? Just remember Gino, it isn’t over until the fat lady sings.

I had seen most of those previous links. I specifically looked up ‘fox 61′
That related to Levis mom arrest Dec.08.
The drudge linked to some other ‘arrest’ (just a keyword search)as well… not this one.
So at this point FOX has been able to keep it off their websites and make sure they are NOT linked. That is pretty amazing with the way the internet is linked with everybody.
I hope someone with more capability and research than myself follows up on this.
Maybe even AKM… or snoksred… I am an amateur. Might even be worth a story idea…. and show to what extent they will go to ‘ filter’ the News and the message they want out there as their propaganda. And how this story would not fit their agenda.
What do the Johnstons mean by this ‘gag order’ by the McCain campaign? I don’t believe a political campaign can silence people just because they might say something embarrassing to the candidate. Where’s the evidence? What were the issues involved? Was there a hearing before a judge with counsel arguing the merits? I just think the Johnstons were paid for their silence and there’s no such thing as a ‘gag order’. Lies, lies and yet more lies.
…I guess it was not an official gag order…but a ‘gentle’ reminder…not to talk openly about NOTHING re: Palin.

Pauline…. Growing up ina small backwoods town, a person doesn’t learn very much. The Johnston’s were thrown into a situation they had no comprehension of. If Big Suit From The Big City In Big Area Known As The Lower 48 told them to do something, and only that one something….how would they know any different? I have compassion for the Johnstons…. I grew up like they did and understand their predicament. It Sucks.

Pauline, it could be that they signed some kind of contract with the McCain people… it happens all the time in TV land… if one show interviews you, or say, you’re in a commercial or something, then you are not eligible to participate in another for x amount of time. Not that I think any of them are telling the truth, but there may be some fear of retribution issues… this does involve the palins. I think dear Levi will have plenty more to say in the coming months, especially since his baby will likely be withheld in the near future.
DFYS ought to get involved.
I think you’re right, mountainmomma #177. Levi and his family are being demonized by Sarah in order to justify denying visitation with his son.
It’s poor behavior for Grandma Palin to butt-in and drive Levi away. Kids need both parents, not just a child-support check.
I don’t know about Alaskan family court rules, but here in Minnesota denial of visitation is grounds for change in custody. I know Sarah thinks she owns the police and the courts, but Levi has parental rights.
The only way to have parental rights taken away is to provide proof that contact with the parent is harmful to the child. I don’t see that happening based on something Levi says on a talk show with Tyra.

I doubt there was any contract, gag order or payment.
They were probably told to refer any and all questions to the campaign. It’s what everybody does. Unfortunately, it seems, the election losers this time around are a bunch of babies. Cindy McCain is the only player in the McCain/Palin camp whom I believe has maintained a dignified silence since the election.
Tell me, do you remember all these leaks and allegations coming from the Kerry/Edwards camp after they lost? I only recall one – long after the election, when Edwards said he disagreed with Kerry’s decision not to do a full court press on the Swiftboat Vets. Can’t remember anybody from the Dole/Kemp campaign leaking or pointing accusing fingers. The Gore/Lieberman campaign of 2000 was unusual in that the election raised important constitutional questions, but you sure didn’t hear Gore’s people blaming Lieberman’s people or Lieberman’s people blaming Gore’s people for the loss. Bush Sr and Dan Quayle retired quietly, with no drama and no finger pointing, when they lost in 1992. And on and on it goes. I have been following politics for 40 years and I’ve never quite seen anything like it.
Did anybody else notice that the Palins seemed to have no problem with the Johnstons prior to SP being chosen as McCain’s running mate? We’ve seen the pictures of the Johnston kitchen with the booze bottles all over the counter, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out Sherry Johnston was dealing oxy for a while. Sarah Palin used to go to their house with Trig.
A lot of people say the Palins and the Johnstons are individually and collectively Valley Trash, hillbillies and so forth and I say, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone”. But much of the stone throwing now seems to be coming from the Palins, who now think they’re too good to associate with a family they have been hanging out with for years.
I mean – talk about throwing your friends under the bus!
And now they expect the Johnstons to stay silent?

The reference that Levi and his family were silenced by Palin and the McCain campaign while Palin was campaigning — you also have to add that the family and anyone else with them was surrounded by Secret Service on the campaign trail which is also very intimidating for people who have been thrown into a world for which they had never experienced. It was not Levi’s family in politics. To have all the buffoons from the McCain campaign and the Secret Service throwing instructions at you of what you could and could not do — wouldn’t surprise me that they didn’t add in words in tones that came across as threatening.
It’s a pain that we’ve only been able to see the teaser so far. All that is said there is that SP “probably” knew the kids were betting frisky cuz “Mom’s are pretty smart.” That bit about Sarah “let” them “share a room” wasn’t shown. At least on any cip I’ve seen.
I’ve also read that Levi IS allowed to visit the baby, just not allowed to take him “out.” Kind of the equivalent of having only “supervised visits.” Who knows if he’s even going to be allowed even that much visitation now?

Levi would be able to apply to Family Court for visitation. Both Levi and Bristol are of age . I also would think that because he did a TV interview, that wouldn’t hold weight to deny him access. Add to it Bristol already splashed her face on TV even showing the baby. It’s not Mommy GINO that can dictate visitation. If it rises to it being a problem within her house if Bristol still lives there as it does seem she moves back and forth, then supervisied visits can be directed through the Court.
If GINO steps into the proceedings and it goes against Levi, then Levi has the option of raising the level of Courts. Public sympathy would be on the side of Levi. There are also associations for fathers denied access that could become involved which would make it even slimier for GINO!!!

Good morning all……..this is the second time that I have posted here. I love this site (usually on huffpo). I know that dear Sarah has nothing to do with her sister inlaw but I can’t help but think that if all of these things happened to Obama, he would be crucified. but, I have a question………do you think that Sarah will be re-elected again? Would that be anything like the flat-out lie that Sarah and Bristol told Greta in their interview (a quest for fame, attention and fortune) when they told her that Bristol and Levi were happy together parents of their child. At the time they had the interview, the breakup had already happened. So, that made Sarah and Bristol liars.
Personally, if I was going to believe anyone, it would be Levi’s family. They have no reason not to tell the truth whereas Ms. Palin has every reason to lie.

The right is trying to crucify President Obama because he has an aunt who is in the country illegally. That’s the most they can do because to their ever lovin frustration, Obama is pretty squeaky clean.
Hasn’t this happened before? Wasn’t there a judge that reprimanded the Palin family for child abuse in the Trooper family feud? My memory is fuzzy but did it have something to do with the way they put down the father of Sarah’s nephews?

I’m not from Alaska. I am curious, if the mother of the 4 year-old took the child with her on a crime spree was there a charge for child endangerment? If not, why not?
The pic looks like Mercede and Tripp, 208 txdemocrat. Not Levi. Could be Mercede boyfriend? The dead animal decoration could be the Palin compound. Have they ever allow any of the Johnston family to take their baby a way from the Palins property? I don’t think the Johnston dad has a record.
Re: comments 171, 172 – I don’t think it was a formal “gag order” – as we know, that extended family is not well known for their accuracy or fluency w/the English language. If you ask me, the Johnstons were either being paid or blackmailed to keep quiet. Now that they have nothing to lose, the Johnstons aren’t taking “orders” from anybody, and they’re not the first family from Wasilla to jump at the opportunity for a free trip to NYC.

Even a Governor can’t issue a “gag order” to a private citizen re: an issue that is not the subject of litigation, but neither the Johnstons NOR the Palins have ever shown much fluency with the english language. I have a serious problem with that public web page. They should NOT list Ms. Palin’s date of birth. With all the ID theft going on out there, exposing someone’s DOB to the public is not a good idea.
Yes, her daughter was with her and told police that she had been there before with her mom, hence the arrest for two break-ins. A third break-in earlier is still in question.
If this is the case the police need to add child endangerment to their charges and possibly take this child away from her. Considering how many people in Alaska own guns, taking her child with her was foolhardy at best and criminal at worst. What if the homeowner had shot at Palin, missed and hit her child.

Yup – Once you are arrested , it’s public record. They use DOB as the way to make sure they have the right person. At least they don’t use the SSN , which is where the real ID theft damage can occur.
Does anyone know the last name of baby Tripp? I ask this because I wonder if on the birth certificate Tripp is listed as a “Palin” or a “Johnston”. I would think a good Christian women who knows the name of the father would give him credit on the child’s birth certificate….and this would give Levi some rights.

No I think the name is “Tripp Easton Johnson” Although no one has ever seen the birth cert/or birth announcement.

I read that Levi tells Tyra that he moved into the Palin house a week or 2 weeks before Tripp was born. This is curious because Levi quit his North Slope gig on January 5th. That would make Tripps actual birthdate no earlier than mid-to late January. If it is true, as some have said, that Trig was born in February, the babies would be at least 10 months apart. I think they call that Irish Twins.

She’s only 35 and looks so worn out !!! I agree appears to have that “meth makeover” look about her. Of course she took the 4 year old!!! She can’t afford a babysitter and I am sure the burglary was one stop on her way to her dealer. Sad…Get social services in there!!! Maybe the Palin’s can foster care for the 4 year old!
