Naughty Governor.
I don’t know when it was that I promised to no longer say “you can’t make this stuff up,” but I want to say right up front that I’m going back on my word. I don’t often do that, but when I tell you this little story, you’ll forgive me, I know. ”Toddler-think” has once again become the coping mechanism of choice in our state’s capital.
When we last left the scene, our governor had the ball in her court regarding the filling of the vacant senate seat in Juneau. Juneau Democrats, as procedure dictates, had submitted a name to the governor for approval. The name was Beth Kerttula, who as we know, had been critical of Palin in the past. So the governor got out her red ink pad, and did the big REJECTED stamp on that very short list.
Then the governor decided not to wait for a new list of names, but to go all mavericky and pick her own name – Tim Grussendorf. Tim was kind enough to become a Democrat (required when wanting to replace a Democrat) two weeks before he was appointed by the governor. He “didn’t realize” he was a Republican. Nice try. The Senate Democrats kind of looked at each other, thinking “What the….” and got out their own red ink pad, and returned the REJECTED name to Palin.
So, the governor decided that instead of just Democrats voting on Grussendorf, EVERYone should do it and it should be a public vote. Next time a Republican goes to jail and needs to get replaced, they don’t want Dems mucking it up, so this time EVERYone got out their red ink pads and REJECTED the governor’s rewritten rules because who wants the other party voting on your senator?
Then, the Democratic Senators submitted another list. This time there were three names on it. And the governor chose a name that was not on that list – Joe Nelson. Now, the Dems were really starting to get irked. Had the governor completely lost her mind? This was a matter of principle. She was supposed to choose from a list of names they submitted, not make up the rules as she went along just because she didn’t get her way.
So, the Dems stood tall and broke out that ink pad. REJECTED again. This time, they stamped it extra hard, so the governor would get the idea that she wasn’t going to get her way. Things would happen as they had always happened. And then, an olive branch. A beautiful, diplomatic olive branch from Juneau Mayor Bruce Botehlo.
Yesterday Botehlo attempted to break the six week old stalemate to fill Juneau’s vacant State Senate seat by proposing a candidate that was highly qualified and embraced by both Democrats and Republicans.
Dennis Egan, who is a former Juneau Mayor and the son of a former Alaska governor, was forwarded to Palin for consideration to replace Democrat Kim Elton who resigned his seat to take a job with the Obama administration.
Surely that would meet with the governor’s approval. Everyone would save face, the ship would be turned back on course, the tantrum would end, and we could all get back to business.
Right?
Ahhhh…. surely you didn’t think that would be the end of the story did you? I didn’t think you did. Because you’re still waiting for that part in the beginning where I said “you can’t make this stuff up.” Here goes.
Palin has now submitted ….a list of three names. Yes, folks, it’s backwards day in Juneau! She didn’t like the fact that it was the other side that was supposed to submit a list of names, so she just went ahead and did it herself. And who’s on the list? The first name is Tim Grussendorf. “Hold on a minute,” you may be thinking. “Hasn’t he already been rejected?” Why, yes he has. Soundly. And so has the second nominee, Joe Nelson. And the third name? No, of course it’s not Dennis Egan. That would make sense, and be a brilliant diplomatic move, showing….wisdom and maturity. No, Dennis, like Kerttula fell victim to the big red REJECTED stamp.
Enter Alan Wilson, name #3. Nobody knows much about Alan Wilson. The Division of Elections tells us that Alan Wilson is not a registered Democrat, although Palin’s spokeswoman Sharon Leighow tells us he is too. He converted on March 4. And this means that the third and final candidate has not only been chosen from outside the Democrats’ list, but According to the Division of Elections at the time of his nomination, he is ineligible to hold the seat. And just for a little added enjoyment, public records tell us that he’s married to one Sydney Mitchell, who owns a little shop in Juneau called Shoefly. Those of you who are Sarah Palin trivia junkies will remember that Shoefly is where Sarah Palin purchased her infamous pair of red Naughty Monkey pumps, that were sold on Ebay for $2025.
OK….everybody, all together now…. “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up!”

#1? Sorry…
Just call the men in the white coats and be done with it. Seems she is deliberately trying to alienate EVERYONE in AK and beyond (sans the 8 folks left at c4p). The speculation that she has come unhinged is showing up on several blogs, some National. If she had a shred of credibility left, it is gone now. In the past week, I cannot count how many people have noted her erratic, insane behavior. No longer fit for office, she must be impeached. I will have compassion for her then, I really will – just as soon as she is out of politics and unable to hurt so many others with her crazy, dangerous actions.
per ADN 4/14:
“Even her visit to Indiana has a low-key feel. Local political leaders in Indiana offered to help Palin organize a fundraiser for SarahPAC, the political action committee she formed to help pay for out-of-Alaska travel not covered by the state of Alaska. Palin turned the offer down, said Nicholas Hermann, chairman of the Vanderburgh County Republican Party. That wasn’t lost on Hermann — or the banquet’s organizers.” {& blah blah blah blah}
OK, let’s see how this trip is paid for — AND what else she does while she’s in the lower 48. She might make a quick trip to Washington for some “stimulus” matter or something–something that’s indisputably state business …. and oh, by gosh, Greta just happens to be in Washington too, to cover the Faux Teaparty …….
….. and the AK taxpayers could end up paying for it. I think we need to watch this.

Re: WAR –
One of my spouse’s friends is here tonight. He’s been in Alaska for about 30 years. Somehow we got to talking about WAR (conversation started out with SP), and he said “oh, he’s a REALLY good lawyer! He’ll make a great attorney general.” Proceeded to tell us about how WAR had handled many cases for him (winning magnificently), how “he’s known for taking on cases no one else will” and “he’s the one to get if you want to win.”
So I tell him about the latest quotes, and what he’s said to the committees lately about gays, women and Natives in particular. He says, “well, you can’t believe everything you read.” So I say, “this comes from his own published articles, newspaper articles, and people who heard him speak.” Then it’s “well, those people are out to get him, and they don’t know him like I do.”
I spoke my mind. But in no way did anything get through. Now I know first-hand what we’re dealing with. Major ugh.
Kudos to flyinureye…. I think it captures Sarah Palin exactly! She is simply unbelievable these days and maybe, just maybe she’s shooting herself in the foot.
Is all this really about eliminating that 1 anti-WAR vote?
Is it time to “Shoe” Palin the door?
Seriously, three words: non compos mentis.
I think it’s time for a short video replay of the last two weeks in GINO world:

yep…AKM, this is your best yet! (I say that alot!). What a story.
Isn’t there some obscure law on the books that we could tap into in order to ban Sarah’s re-entry into the state when she returns from Indiana?
Good heavens……..IMPEACH! Legislators….we beg of you…………………..this has gone beyond belief!

Priceless! Simply priceless!!
You got it in one!!
Toddler Think! I made a remark over ADN, that got deleted of course, about this subject. It’s exactly like talking to a 4 year old: you may have A, B, or C. “NO, I want D! WAaaghh!” Except my son has way more sense than this lady does. The Dems had better stand firm, or she will get even worse.
Should we call for Super Nanny’s help? Who’s got the YouTube clib to send her?
what is she thinking..not so much I guess. and I do love the picture. I am so glad that my grand daughter is not like that. Ya you are right you can not make this stuff up.
If Palin thinks that her actions will be perceived as “maverick-y”, she’s in for a surprise. Her actions are irresponsible, unprofessional, and unbecoming of a governor. She’s clearly gone off the deep end into a quagmire of her right to imperial rulership. Simply put, she’s having a temper tantrum at the people of Alaska’s expense. Bend over, legislators…OR deal with it as the only grownups at the State Capitol these days!
Great post, AKM…..and superb graphics, flyinureye!
and……yukonbushgrma: what a sad story about your WAR debate ~ it IS like talking to a brick wall; sorry you had to go through that. I would be fuming.
I think you’re on to something, Aussie Blue Sky.
Just issue a Palin recall. They have a Lemon Law in Alaska, don’t they?
You said it AKM….You can’t make this stuff up
Get the guys with the straight jackets–those McCain/Palin staffers who said she was a whackjob gave you fair warning months ago.
And for those in AK who think they want to break off from the US, remember that the ones who tried to leave last time didn’t fare so well.
@Bpoint – how apropos.
To Flyinureye – Yes, you’re too good for words…picture is worth…priceless.
For the millionth time, I wanna say – You are absolutely the BEST AKM! And Flyinureye’s graphics – GENIUS! I was commenting at ADN comparing Czarina’s actions to a toddler and had a picture in my mind what that looked like, and lo & behold, Flyinureye got it even better than I imagined. Of course I’ve been kicked out at ADN. Boo Hoo. Thanks so much for everything you do for us mudpuppies!!!!
Well everyone, just look on the bright side. Particularly you good folks Outside. Just a nail of two more will finnish nailing the lid on the coffin of her polical aspirations. She won’t even be able to get back onto the Wasilla city council. See, I prefer to see the glass as half full
Wow. Just wow. Truly thanks go to you AKM for helping bring me back down to earth after spinning around in the stratosphere for a moment there. I was starting to think my brain hadn’t survived the Fairbanks winter, but you have helped remind me that I am the normal one and she is …well, completely less capable of rational decisions than my 3 year old.
I’m beginning to think the Legislators need a really good attorney. She’s playing them. Why don’t they sue her and watch her march to a different drummer….the one that adds a few more hundred thousand dollars in billable hours for her legal defense fund to defend? I know what you’re thinking, they tried that already. Three times the charm.
(yeah, this one and one more).
From what I’ve read, she’s already in violation of Alaska law. Isn’t it time the Legislators pulled her short hairs? (please forgive my coarseness).
Also, you need to make sure the Warthog goes down, because this may be some weird running out the clock strategy where she tries to screw you up for a long time with the bs the wart has up his sleeve.
Oh. My. God. She. Did. Uhnt!
as i was reading along, i was thinking this is outrageous if the democratic senators accept egan, because it is a loss for the legislature down the road in terms of power lost to whoever is governor.
you can imagine my jaw falling and hear me yelling “OMG! She diduhnt!”
i hear that HBO is making a movie about the 2008 presidential election campaign. there’s a pretty funny comment thread with suggestions about who should play who, including, of course, the ice queen herself, caribou barbie.
http://bitchphd.blogspot.com/2009/04/broadsheet-comments-thread-worth.html
thanks for a laugh! (though w/a twinge of guilt at the suffering the source of my enjoyment causes alaskans)
She knows exactly what she’s doing.
She’ll say “I tried to work with those Democrat Party Senators and such as, but they won’t cooperate. I tried to expedite this replacement. Poor Juneau.”
Unless it’s refuted, Alaskans will buy right into it.
The residents of Juneau should be enraged by her antics.
I think they need to get the straight jacket ready for this lady!
Is anybody monitoring her meds?
i say there needs to be a few more of those Impeach Palin signs put up
she is just plain ol’ NUCKINFUTS!
SLAP!! This is my senator she’s messing with and I’m not happy about it. She’s trying to “shore up” the gov’s power in the AK constitution and make shit up as she goes. She can not get along with anyone and it’s getting worse.
This is EXACTLY what hubby predicted would happen this session – EXACTLY! He laughed and said “There is no WAY that Palin is going to get along with anyone this session” right after she LOST. You KNOW she wanted to grab the mike at the concession speech and “go rogue” – it was written all over her bossy face.
The only people that like her are the ones that haven’t been tongue lashed or cold shouldered – and that’s only because each of them has something Sarah wants. As soon as she deems you unnecessary or a bother, the veneer peels off quickly and what remains is not pretty.
As long AS FOX NEWS loves her she’s going to be a tick on all of us . Alaska your the only one that can remove her , don’t really want no Rocky Mountain Fever spreading across country.
The week has just started……. I need a drink already and I don’t drink.
Love the photo shop work.
THe white coats are coming, the white coats are coming.
flyinureye2009,
good thing you left the red heels off of her in that photo cause a large part of her “BASE” would be messing up there monitors when there done teabagging!!
That photo made me laugh out loud! Then the story made me nod in agreement. Mudpuppies, you make my day in Germany. Thank you for your humor and graphics. Love ya.
I-M-P-E-A-C-H or how about R-E-C-A-L-L? Please tell me there are folks out there working on one of these things. I’ve got my pen in hand. I’m ready to sign.
Wow. I second what trish in SW FL said. Also. This is beyond bizarre. It’s almost as if she’s trying to get impeached. Maybe she is so she doesn’t have to deal with, you know, governatin’ any more.
OK. I have a video to show you all. I’m linking, and it’s kinda salty, so fair warning. However, it has Palin and Perry (of Texas) in a parody on the NOM “Gathering Storm” (anti-gay marriage) ad, and, well, it’s hilarious.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJGR8YDd_lU&feature=related
Again–it’s a bit raunchy, so if you’re squeamish about such things, consider yourself warned.
I just finished watching KO on the intertubes, laughing at the sendup of tomorrow’s non-event, the nationwide teabagging, er, teabag parties. Then I come back here to revel in my #1ness (thinking fondly of fawnskin) and actually read the post. If there weren’t a permanent cloud cover over Seattle I’d look up and surely would see that the moon’s been stuck on full for a week or more. Too much lunacy going around! Hooooowwwwwwwllll!
I betcha even the Republicans in the AK Legislature are getting a little tired of all this numbskullery. Provocative, indeed.
Blood sucking leech is more like it. In a straight jacket, soon if we are lucky.

On the other thread as soon as they announced the 3 new names I said we have to have a sequel “Toddler Think 2″….. pretty darn close
Great story telling… as usual… love how all the little pieces come together, but the ‘ picture’… couldn’t be better. PriceLess !
With that big Oaf WAR in the background…a BIG cherry on top.
Keep the presure on the people who need to say no to the warthog–that story above about the guy who knows him is a warning of deep problems to come, I fear. I don’t know what the count is pro/con but you will be deep in moose poo if he is confirmed.
I don’t even know what to say to this. Her petty little vengeance and spite games have to be stopped. Can we impeach her yet?
Does Palin think she will get some free shoes if by some chance Wilson ls picked?
There really is something wrong with Palin. It’s actually kind of sad.
She’s round the bend. She is very emotionally and mentally unstable and possibly disturbed. Her behavior is very symptomatic of mental illness.
She needs professional help. I wonder what the Alaska state procedures are to get her some medical attention.
Yup, Sarah is a nut job and we Alaskans are the mercy of her antics. I’ve written to everybody I can think of about her bizarre divisive behavior and it does no good. I use to feel that I could voice my horror at what she was doing to Juneau with her refusal to appoint a real Democrat to Senator Elton’s seat, and to all of us with the nomination of W.A.R.on the ADN political blog. However, now I too have been banished from their blog. The Juneau Empire has stopped letting people comment on their articles because in their view some people were expressing too much hostility. No one that can do anything about the violations of fairness, or even the breaking of the rules or law, gives a damn what we think or feel.
Hey Juneau Vampire….maybe there should be new buttons in Juneau…Like “Where’s Sarah’s brain?”. You have my sympathies. I am also in SE. I am sure that if the capital wasn’t in Juneau, she would think SE Alaska is part of British Columbia.
bothelo is a genius.
should have anticipated the result, i suppose.
[heavy sigh]
Chuck Heath was recently quoted as saying Levi should take some of the money he’s supposedly made and buy diapers. He’d better hurry — Sarah’s making a mess.
oh, and for yukonbushgrma at 3:
great WAR story. typical republican thought process there: damn the facts, full speed ahead! repeat the hogwash as often as possible and maybe you can fool 51% of the people.
Yep….she’s already got WAR in there “advising” her about how to handle those nasty legislators. How long do you think it will take WAR to get his hamhock hands on the ethics complaints against Palin….I predict as fast as a hungry, fat duck on a June bug…..Goodby to “Government for the people and by the people” in Alaska when this team of Palin-WAR really makes war on Juneau.
“But it’s the governor’s choice and Nelson, Grussendorf and Wilson were her top three after she took applications and conducted interviews, Leighow said. She said the governor’s new attorney general, Wayne Anthony Ross, who is up for a confirmation vote of the Legislature on Thursday, has signed off on it being legal to submit the three names. State law says that, if an appointee is rejected, a governor “shall appoint another qualified person.”

@AKM: My apologies. Feel free to take out the link (both from the name and the comment) from my previous comment – or remove it altogether. Love your blog and didn’t mean to take from the Mudflats store without paying.
Sarah seems to be unraveling.
You don’t just make up new rules because you want to play by new rules. Well, you can but you will not be invited back to play with the adults.
-Go run along now Sarah, and make believe you’re queen.
@Bijou: Buttons that say “Where’s Sarah’s Brain”? I LOVE THAT!! Please, can we find someone to make them? Better yet, maybe some bumper stickers?
Also, thanks Asiangrrl for the link to this HILARIOUS video parody of the anti-gay marriage commercial. If you haven’t seen it, give it a look. I laughed so hard, I had to view it three times. Thank goodness there are things like this that allow us to laugh at the absurdity around us.
And yes, the language is a bit salty…. Here’s a link:

My question is, does the Gino really think she has the votes to pull this off? In the AK legisilature?
She must because, so far not much has stopped her. She just gets more press and more of that attitude of “who cares what the Democrates want, they are not in charge in AK, I am and I’ll do whatever I want and you can’t stop me.”
Seems kind of strange that even McCann couldn’t remember her name last night on Leno. So, outside of AK she is certainly no longer #1 on her own parties lists, according to KO tonight. I do wish there was something more we down here in the lower 48 plus one could do to help the Dem’s and moderate Repub’s in AK. that are sick of her tantrums and making you all look like the laughing stock of the country.
so what happens now? do the dems have to pick from her list? do all govs have this much power? im from ky, we never hear let alone see our gov.
As hard as it is to believe (some) the ADN comments ‘support her’ with this decision. Must be C4Pee… such as

some of you need to show the same maturity of our President that you voted for, and get on with your little lives. Sarah Palin got where she was because of her intelligence, integrity, and willingness to serve.
———————————————
“intelligence.. integrity..”..? Some believe the sky is green and the grass is blue as well. There is no talking to them…. why try
Every time I think she’s hit the limit of nuttiness, she reaches new heights. It’s more than a soap opera up there, it’s like a Greek tragedy, with the hero yet to be revealed. Someone needs to take her down. Ramras seems to be a decent guy for a Repug, could he do it by whipping up antagonism against WAR and giving GINO a “come to Jesus” talking-to about not effing up the replacement process for all governors to follow? She’s gone way past the need for a time-out or the “naughty spot” to needing involuntary commitment. Sheesh.
Whoever Kwalters is on ADN… he/she doesn’t get censored by the filters/mods. Has all the new story links there. I’m shocked. They were blocking everything earlier.
Well, with W.A.R. supporting her, I guess we all know why he was picked. He is advising her that what she is doing is not only legal but acceptable as well. She feels like she can and will do whatever she wants, and with Ross by her side supporting her, it will be difficult at best to stop her.
I hope someone will keep us all on notice when Tim Grussendorf changes back to Republican.
Thanks in advance
Toddler thinking has become moron thinking. What do you do when a child throws a tantrum? What you don’t do is give in. On anything. (That means WAR needs to be rejected as well.)
I’ve said it before elsewhere. Basic discipline. The broken record. “Nevertheless”. “Nevertheless, here is our list.” “Nevertheless, here is our list.”
Submit the three names plus Beth Kerttula and Dennis Egan. Keep rejecting her picks and keep submitting the SAME LIST, over and over and over. Eventually she may get it. Whether she gets it before she is either impeached or loses her re-election will depend on the point spread.
If she refuses, then pick whoever you want from the list and seat them, bypassing the Governor.
Then start passing around that impeachment petition for signatures.
BTW have you seen the lastest Politico poll? Palin one of the least trustworthy politicians….way down there with Nancy Pelosi.
I wish former Governors Hickel, Knowles, and Sheffield would weigh in on this lunacy. They surely must find this erratic behavior disturbing too.
Again, Lord have mercy…
OMG, I just don’t believe this latest move on her part. The woman has totally lost it.
Kudos to flyinureye for the artwork!
brian for senator
If you really want to see her lose it…. wait till she arrives in Indiana and then let Levi talk to the Press and make some comments.
She will be wayyyyyyyyyyy off there in Indiana and won’t be able to say anything or comment till she gets back. She’d be just like a volcano with all that pressure ready to blow the top off.
I guess she could take it out on some ‘aide’ again…?
How about Alaskans organising a huge demonstration when she arrives at the airport to leave for Indiana?
GINO getting angry at the aide who discussed her travel itinerary seems over the top, unless there was something about her travel plans she didn’t want Todd to know about.
Trigg’s birthday is April 18th. Will GINO be home in time for his first birthday?
Just watched Faux’s Bill O’Lierry, what at tool (in the UK it’s all you can get apart from CNN, and I was watching to see if his head exploded over SENATOR Al Franken), anyhoo, he had a segment about Gino and the negative poll.
He showed the McCain clip leaving Gino out of the top reps then laughing, and the poll. H had some bloke from politico on and he was saying it was all the negatve ‘gotcha press’s fault. The bloke was agreeing (of course).
Then the jawdropper, Billo himelf has been watching how Gino is doing as gov and he thinks she is doing a great job and Alaskans still love her.He is obviously not watching as well as we are, Ggaaahhh!!

The aide apparently printed the itinerary off the ADN. It’s never been a secret, the Indiana folks have been all over the internet about it for weeks.
What I’d like to know is who saw the need to tell Mrs Palin something of so little significance? And why?

And the Indiana folks have been speculating about Dud and Trigg being there, too also.
I think there is someone behind Sarah Palin pushing her buttons.
She was not smart enough to run a council.
I believe Todd Palin is behind all of this.
He looks like the good guy, looking after the kids etc.
This lady is getting thinner and thinner, so much so , her head looks too big
for her body.
That is why she cannot cope with the affairs of your state.Because she dosn’t know how too.
I am not making excuses for her.But look at Goodie two shoes Todd.
Love the graphic – it looks soo real.
It’s worth noting that the Palin name was mentioned by Noam Chomsky in an interview with Amy Goodman broadcast via “Democracy Now!” on Monday. It’s worth a listen, but Chomsky did note that Palin was the only candidate put forward by the 2 major parties that used the term “working class.” Chomsky pointed out, correctly I think, that if “the people” do not perceive that their legitimate concerns are addressed by The Obama Administration, they may turn to the demagogues who seem to be championing their gripes – he argued that what might occur could be similar to what happened in Germany in the years preceding WWII. Scary stuff, and, I think, not something to take lightly.

@ irishgirl: “How about Alaskans organising a huge demonstration when she arrives at the airport to leave for Indiana?”
Or. . . have a huge demonstration at the airport when she comes home and block her from getting off the plane. She’s not doing her job when she’s in Alaska, so maybe barring her will at least protect the state from her.
I swear, with each passing day, she proves even more soundly that she should never hold any public office.
Juneau will still not have Representation tomorrow when the AG will be voted on. I still have hopes WAR will not be confirmed and I’ll be especially angry if he gets in by a one vote margin. (Juneau, where are you?)

This woman makes you want to Curly(Three Stooges) slap yourself! There’s times I read about her with head in hands or shaking it back and forth till I get dizzy enough to understand; all I do is make myself sick. Seriously, she’s showing signs of total dysfuction, can’t make a decision(’cause she doesn’t know how), someone who’s lies and secrets are becoming exposed more and more. But what I see is someone who’s greatest lie [ The birth of Trig] starting to wear at her. You can run, but you can’t hide.
The law is clear on replacing a State Senator.
I didn’t think this woman could shock me anymore.
How long is this going to go on?! I come from NJ, where wacky politix are the norm, but I think even the crew in Trenton would have figured out by now that when a Democrat leaves the Senate, the Dems get to replace him.
So AKM and other AK Mudpups, I have a question.
WHO do you think is pulling GINO’s strings? We all know she isn’t smart enough to come up with these names and twisted legal opinions on her own. Don’t get me wrong, she’s got the full-on temper-tantrum capabilities to SELL this nonsense, but I am increasingly getting the feeling that she’s got a “handler.”
Is it GVS’s hubby, who cares naught for Alaska as long as she’s in 27/7 base-pander mode? Or is it someone closer to home, who finds her a very “useful idiot” indeed?
Who is winding up GINO (by stroking her MASSIVE ego, no doubt) and sending her out to wreak havoc like some kind of Godzilla on steroids? (GINOZILLA!)

I know Mr Wilson and his wife. He is NOT an appropriate choice for our Senate seat but he is a decent , intelligent person who has done a LOT locally to drag the building contractor sector into adherence and compliance with aboveboard development practices. Many of the shady deals and back room projects which plagued this area in the early to mid 80s do NOT happen anymore… and a lot of it has to do with Mr Wilson’s work in that area.

The biggest “reveal” of the whole Juneau replacement debacle is how it puts her huge ego on display. Traditionally, the Senate Democrats submit three names, right? But they submitted only one. And NOBODY tells Sarah what to do! By golly, the whole democratic process could fall down around her, and she wouldn’t care, as long as the selected candidate is HER choice (mine! mine! mine!) Don’t the Democrats know that Sarah owns Alaska and they’re to do as they’re told — by her? Ain’t no way she’s giving in. I put a teensy-weensy bit of blame on the Democrats by only submitting one name — didn’t they realize who they’re dealing with? I think the best way to resolve the issue (putting aside politics for the sake of Juneau residents) is a letter from the Democrats to Sarah saying, basically, we realize we deviated from standard procedure when we submitted only one name, we’re ready to put this behind us, so here are three names to choose from. That would give Sarah a way to end her tantrum, save face, and have the “final say” by selecting one of their 3 names.
p.s. Here’s some secret footage of Sarah:

I don’t believe Dud is the puppeteer. He’s not long on brains – I read the article in Esquire tonight, so I’m sure of that.
She has to do what the faceless ones at SarahPAC are telling her to do, but I can hardly see them insisting on these latest capers, it’s way too risky. The going to Indiana and such would be their limit, since there is no opponent for her to attack.
What’s in it for WARthog (doesn’t that sound like a Palin name)? He hangs with a lot of groups. Does he hang with a small, exclusive group that owns land worth mega-millions if only Alaska was more open to exploitation? I betcha he does.
And what’s Mrs Palin’s payoff?

It will be interesting to see if her “mini-vacation” to Indiana will be some sort of restorative to her mental state, or further inflame her gross sense of entitlement.

I know… the ghastly gov’s antics make all of us want to smear anyone near her. Thanks.
I am afraid that the folks who responded in relative good faith to the gov’s-apply-to-be-a-Senator stunt are going to suffer here in the long run… like Mr Wilson and Mr Nelson.
Juneau is considered a wildly liberal place by much of Alaska and certainly the gov. It would be humorous if it did not harm us so often. As AKM said months ago, Democrats here look more like moderate Republicans most other places. The ghastly gov acting like Ms Kertulla or any of the other names provided are flaming liberals is stupid but it works here…
That being said , there is certainly a solid minority here in this district who ARE more conservative than the majority… and they are the best of what conservative can be… even if I rarely agree with them
Mr Wilson is of that stance and I respect him. If a chance occurs , in a professional contact, I will tell him how I feel but I do not know him well enough to call his home and talk to him about it .

@Alaska Pi
The whole thing makes so little sense that I can’t believe that’s all there is to it. What if it’s only designed to deprive WAR of an undoubted “no” vote? Were all three of the fake “appointees” in favor of him? Were they people he knew? Not one of them had any great claim to seat.
Talis Colberg has been gone a long time, so has Kim Elton. There has been plenty of time to cook this up – after all, it’s not complex.
But what’s in it for Mrs Palin? What’s her payoff, given WAR was rejected for promotion to judge and there are surely much better candidates?

I am not close to any inner circle of knowledge about the whats and whys of the WAR nomination but I do know the gov has tapped into the Alaska -colorful-big-personality myth with this nomination.
Our seat thingy seems to have more to do with the ghastly gov perceiving a chance to shift our vote(s) in relation to resource extraction, etc issues amongst other things. Long story but if you go back and read AKM’s transcript of the radio talk by gov with EB you will get a hint of her issues with us…

Something that occurred to me a while ago. SP could be seen as kinda like the “always the bridesmaid, never the bride” saying.
Made runner up in the beauty pageant – 2nd place? Third?
Tagged for VP (# TWO spot) in the pres campaign. That fell through.
Has something less than a Beaver Cleaver household, despite her claims otherwise.
Goes home to what seems like a lot less sparkly life than the rush and furor of the campaign. She may be #1 back home, but it’s a LOT smaller #1 than even the #2 spot nationally. It almost seems as if she’s gone “Bridezilla” (to continue the bridesmaid vs bride metaphor).
Or maybe it’s “Second Hand Rose” Syndrome. I dunno, was just thinking out loud, so to speak.

did Alaska/Palin and came up with quite a few hits re: troopergate.
Just a FYI for the people who like to venture into the “attic”
Sarah Palin is completely divorced from reality. Palin is terrified that she has been exposed to nation, as unable to manage her duties as Gov. of Alaska. Palin lacks the intellect to deal with the complexities of the state budget and the stimulus monies.
In order to divert attention, Palin makes ridiculous postures on appointing a senator for Juneau.
Palin is fleeing the state altogether, so that she will not have to meet with and engage the legislators “on the record” over the stimulus monies.
It is much easier to issue statements from her office, as Palin is incapable of any thoughtful dialog concerning the stimulus monies.
The end result is that, Alaska has a Gov. intellectually unable to fulfill her duties, Juneau has no representation and Alaskans will not be able to receive the stimulus funds they deserve.

http://newsminer.com/news/2009/apr/15/palins-travel-plans-draw-criticism/
Ramras is getting bludgeoned by bloggers on the Web site Conservatives4Palin.com, which is unaffiliated with the governor or her political action committee, SarahPAC. However, blogger R.A. Mansour freely agreed the attacks on Ramras are retaliation for his criticism of Palin’s travel plans.
But, she said, it won’t stop there.
“We’re going to start looking at all of them (lawmakers) now,” Mansour said. “We can go through and do all of them, if they’d like. We just find this entire thing completely ridiculous and unfair. This would never be happening with Tony Knowles or Frank Murkowski.”
Ramras acknowledged being absent two Saturdays when Energy Committee meetings were held. A member of the committee, he participated via teleconferencing. He traveled with the Energy Committee to three days’ worth of meetings in rural Alaska, and has flown home most weekends, as do a number of legislators.
“It was a professional spear,” Ramras said. “I would challenge anyone to question my work ethic. I’m here for the final two weeks, which is when all the decision-making happens. The Legislature functions like an NBA basketball game. It’s much more important in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter. Everyone should be on the floor.”
The Fairbanks legislator chairs the Judiciary Committee, which has been meeting twice per day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, sometimes for several hours at a time. The same committee took many hours of testimony on a parental consent for abortion bill, which Palin vocally supported.
“We’re a professional, active committee, and we’ve moved the governor’s bills,” he said.
Conservatives4Palin.com is a Web site with contributing bloggers with a conservative or libertarian political bent, Mansour said. They met chatting on another Web site, hotair.com, venting about what she summed up as the media’s unfair treatment of Palin.
SarahPAC and Palin family spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton said Conservatives for Palin is not affiliated in any way with the governor, despite several large banners on the site offering ways to donate to SarahPAC.
Based on the content, Stapleton surmised the site bloggers are from the Lower 48. She acknowledged the banners linking to SarahPAC are a concern

I agree, Alaska Pi
She was elected gov by our good folks by a sizeable margin. (smart and better prepared – be dammmed) (pretend mayor of Wasilla – ignored)
You are so right that WAR and she are the voice of these people and, as luck would have it (along with, yes, her looks; primary factor for some) – she has tapped into it.
She still has a backing of people so easily called right-wing whack-oes…..but they are our whack-oes and we are going to have to live and work alongside them.
@Nan,
I agree with your assessment; Sarah Palin has come in second place (or rather, third if you consider Beauty Contests have a first and second place runner -up) and then she gets the VP nod for the losing ticket. Both times, she lost out to a minority, and she seems rather bitter about that.
Her actions in Alaska are outrageous — beyond the pale. She is a tyrant, a bully, and a moron. Dare I say that she seems worse than George Bush? Her cronyism, incompetence, and abuse of the law are close copies of how Bush governed, but add to that a mean-spirited vindictiveness and a true belief that she is Sister Savior Ruth walking among dinosaurs to bring about End Days with Holy Wars she decrees and you’ve got real trouble.
RECALL. RECALL PALIN NOW. It’s the right thing to do.
This behavior might be a product of “burnout”. I knew of men and women, but men, in this case, in industry who had to stop working for 3 months due to burnout. It happens in middle age, where life stresses just whack people out. SP’s campaigning with a baby, family, spotlight, continual strick time regiment, on top of that having a 4-5 month-old baby, (post-partum depression), may have accumulated to the point where when she lost the election, her mental ability to cope is waning.
Even though she looks like the energizer bunny, she appears not to know what her energy boundaries are, and when little girls get tired, they get cranky, and need a nap.
Austintx@133-”Is the GOP Waving Bye-Bye to Sarah Palin?”
This fit of pique might well be an indication that Palin, if only subconsciously, realizes that she isn’t leaving Alaska after all-this is the same spite that befell Levi Johnston “after she lost”.
Does Palin have any advisors who aren’t terrified to advise her to act like an adult?

Palin has castigated the entire legislature. Lets hope they’re not all neutered. Alaska Pi,
I understand what you’re saying (the eyes wide open, not believing the hype). Even so, it’s not often that the advertising is *that* far removed from the actual contents (or from reality).
Caliwolfgrl – and mudpuppies,
Do you think that Ramras – or the others – should be aware (or made aware) of that See4Pee posting? I understand that the legislators were beginning to get a little miffed at the number of “outsider” emails… It might be a good thing for them to understand where a lot of it is coming from.
Or not… ???
What a terrible interview!
here’s that tricky dicky constitution talk………
Q: What about subsistence issues?
A: AFN (Alaska Federation of Natives) has had a position on subsistence. It doesn’t align with our constitution. If it’s going to be addressed, it needs to be addressed as a whole, the Legislature and the administration — that’s if it’s going to be addressed.
Q: Gov. Palin’s appointment of Wayne Anthony Ross as attorney general is causing some consternation among some Native groups. Have you gotten a lot of feedback on the appointment?
A: A little bit; I hear a little bit. I have my own thoughts on it. We as Alaskans want the best person in the job that’s best for overall Alaska.
I also believe sometimes those positions are filled by people who have actually done something in their life, which there’s a great chance somebody is not going to agree with.
Nan, the newsminer is an AK paper. I’m sure that Mr. Ramras has staff who check the papers for him for news concerning him. They’re on top of it, and it appears in the newsminer article that Ramras directly comments on the see4peers.

Worse than Dan Quayle before her, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s bright star has fast faded in the eyes of Washington Republican officials and analysts, calling into question her efforts to become a national party figure ready to run for the White House. “She’s just not ready for prime time,” said a party strategist who has worked for former President Bush. “I mean, she’s starting to look like she’s having trouble being governor of Alaska.” At issue is her weak debut, hampered by the mishandling of her by Sen. John McCain’s campaign, and subsequent family issues such as the most recent tiff with Levi Johnston, the father of her first grandchild and ex-fiancé of her daughter Bristol.

How do you keep from laughing long enough to post this? Love the picture but I am laughing so hard! Of course, I might not be laughing if it was my state in jeopardy. Isn’t there anyone who can help SOON? Seriously, I think she is off her meds.
Alan Wilson remodeled my bathroom. It turned out great. I would recommend him to anyone who needs fresh tile around their tub. For senator? Maybe not.
HAPPY TAX [due] DAY!
GiNO is very taxing on my nerves….
I think she is using this Alan Wilson like Joe the Plumber. Alan the Builder…Please give us a break and take a real vacation GINO.
The Dept. of Homeland Security is issuing a warning in regards to the rise of far right extremism groups. Gino panders to the extreme far right, she’s their gal. I sincerely feel she is becoming increasingly unhinged and will have other carry out her ‘Dirty Work” She can successfully provoke fear, hate and discontent, as well as play the victim card to these extreme groups.
How long are your ‘lawmakers’ going to play this game of chess? Has anyone, in Alaska, ever said ‘no’ to palin? of course, we know that over half the rest of the United States has said no to her. Come on, Alaskan legislators, wake the hell up!!! It’s called manipulation…she’s resilient, yes…stubborn, absolutely, but not smart or more clever than you…or CORRECT!!!!
IMPEACH OR GET OFF THE POT!!!

LOL….I’ll bear that in mind.
OK, it is time to Digg this articel. Buz it up, and otherwise get this to go viral.
You just can’t make this stuff up. This Governor is off her meds for sure.
OOPs!!! I spelled article wrong.
I live in the state with the worst, most embarrassing governor. It is so humiliating. My dad, who lives in NM, calls me all the time and says, “Did you see what your governor did now?” I reply back with, “Did I see? Did I see? I am the one living in the freaking nightmare!”

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@I agree. This inaction (impeachment), speaks volumns on the legislature. Have they all been neutered by the Empress?
She has completely lost it.
My 23 month old has fewer tantrums than this woman.
Is there a website to recall this whack gov like what was done to help the people in the Y-K Delta? That seems to have gotten some good work done; maybe you could tap into that organizational ability and kick her out…

Was a permit required ?? If so , did he pull one ?? Or was the “Palin – I’m special -New Rule” in effect ??
I almost feel sorry for the poor parvenu governor. She has shown, time and again, that she is far out of her depth. She made a mess of her mayoral duties in Wasilla, she’s made fools of the Repubs and her former running mate, her family is in a terrible mess, her gubernatorial tenure has been one faux pas after another… The only thing that occurs to me would be a quote she would be very familiar with: Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. (had to look that up because there isn’t a bible in the house. does that mean i’m a bad person?)
Nemesis is dogging her steps and the end of this too-public circus is likely near. Balance will be restored but at what price? I don’t know, though it’s likely to be very costly to many.
“If I were in Alaska, I would be putting together some “Go back to Indiana!” signs to greet her homecoming flight.”
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Please we have enough nut jobs here without you dumping your worst one on us.
I don’t know who is feeding her all this bad information. But I bet that Wharthog is the one telling her to submit her pick for the open seat. I bet he also advised her to send the list of three names. I bet he thinks he has found something in Alaska’s charter that allows the Governor to make appointments. It seems like he and Gino does not know the difference in opinions and what actually is law.
I can’t believe there is nothing in the check balance system that the House can’t use to put her feet to the fire and stop all this BS that she is doing, or better still something in the federal guidelines to make he play by the rules.
Juneau is suffering with this power struggle and it needs to stop. Maybe the Juneau residents need to file a suit to make all these elected officials do their dam jobs and quit all this petty chit. Both the republicans and the democrats need to draft a letter of intent to her and tell her in no uncertain terms they are standing firm on the way they pick for these positions and if this does not happen they will go to the US AG and see what their legal options are.
Megamouth better watch out she will be on the ceepee’s chit list. That release she put out puts a very bad light on that group. Then she says she has concern about them and their link, just wait for the fireworks.
I just sent one of my sisters this e-mail:
Ro, I was just thinking that the author of this blog, which I read daily, sometimes a couple times a day, is the Alaskan Molly Ivins… different sense of humor, but LOL humor nevertheless, and sharp and clear analysis of the politics of Alaska, and how they affect–or not–the other 49 states.
I’m liking thinking that Molly would have loved her, and they would have been friends. I wonder, are there any more such gems in the other 49? I COULD devote the rest of my life following the quirks and shenanigans of the political realities of many states, I guess… Not a good way to spend the rest of my life, though.
The Mudflats is my present Molly. Please let me know what you think, and/or if you enjoyed it.
PS: Think Nilda might like to check it out too?

does anyone know where most of the legs stand on subsistence? do you think those that are supportive of it realize Scarah and WAR are going to cause all sorts of trouble in that area? surly they know this……..unless they want that extra headache why would they appoint this creep? or do they agree with WAR?
Q: What about subsistence issues?
A: AFN (Alaska Federation of Natives) has had a position on subsistence. It doesn’t align with our constitution. If it’s going to be addressed, it needs to be addressed as a whole, the Legislature and the administration — that’s if it’s going to be addressed.
Palin’s new theme song by the Guess Who -”She’s Come Undone”
She’s come undone
She didn’t know what she was headed for
And when I found what she was headed for
It was too late….etc.
so what does the Alaska Democratic Party have to say about this? seems like law suit material to me.
Have you noticed how WARthog is using official stationery of the AG’s office and giving official AG legal opinions BEFORE he is confirmed?
How would you feel about a job applicant who came in to interview with your company name already on his or her resume as current employer?
here’s the real nightmare image……
http://werenotthatstupid.blogspot.com/
Just had a thought – there’s a rumor Gino is going to withdraw WAR’s name as AG nominee. That would sort of have to happen by today, wouldn’t it?
And this latest ‘in your face’ or ‘up yours’ gesture from Gino will cement her reputation as someone who has no idea about bipartisanship, or ‘reaching across the aisle’ whatsoever. Not only is she harming Juneau’s residents, she’s painting herself into a corner (again) from which there’s no escape.
While I sympathize deeply with the folks in Alaska who have to put up with these ridiculous shenanigans, I’m pleased that she’s coming undone so visibly. I’d bet she’ll never again be taken seriously as a contender for any public office, by either major party.
bystander……apparently he gets to act as intern ag, creep that he is, just imagine the info he’s accessing just because of Palin.
@Tewise, #167: Did Meg S. say something against see4peers? Did I miss it?
Many I know have gone beyond anger and frustration…..now we all are beginning to feel distraught that our legislature will not begin the impeachment proceedings. It is clearly what needs to happen. She is NUTS!
As a Juneauite I have had enough of this divisive governor and you won’t catch me buying any more shoes at shoe fly; “no thanks”- many Alaskans got to meet her when she made her divisive bid for VP. Juneau people became the bane of her existence the moment she got elected. Mr. Wilson needs to rehabilitate himself and get as far away from this politically drunk governor as he can. Everyone of the three chosen by Palin got so caught up in her manic smokescreen that they have failed to recognize the economic impact on their own friends and families since she was elected. I guess they will know how it feels to be used when this is over because there are no winners.
OK, so yesterday I had the song “Indiana wants me” in my head all day……It’s now been replaced with “She’s come undone.” Thanks Mudpuppies!!!
sarah is gonna come back from Indiana SO jacked up. The uproarious , blind adulation is gonna be like a mega hit off a crackpipe to her. 2000+ followers chanting every thing from – “Sarah-Sarah” , “Drill-baby-Drill” , “We love you” , etc………oh , and don’t leave out “2012″. (Whoo! – - – Allah!)
Sarah you gotta let us know
Should you stay or should you go?
If you say that you are mine,
You should be in State 49.
I know we have a lot of snow,
But do you really have to go?
Its always me, me, me
Loved your selection for A.G.
Another po-lit-i-cal hack
Beware if you are gay or black
Well come on and let us know
Do you really have to go?
Should she stay or should she go now?
Should she stay or should she go now?
If she goes to Indiana,
Will it next be to Montana?
Don’t we pay you enough dough?
Your poor decisions boggle me
You’re just a lightweight G.O.P.
Pranked that time by fake Sarkozy
Embarrassed by Levi on T.V.

Are you brain-dead or is it show?

Should she stay or should she go now?
Should she stay or should she go now?
If she goes, future’s in trouble,
And if she stays, laughs will be doubled
We just hope that if she goes…
She takes her best friend “Plumber Joe”
Should she stay or should she go now?
If she goes, future’s in trouble,
And if she stays, laughs will be doubled
We just hope that if she goes
She takes along her “Sixpack Joes”
No words. I thought she had a plan.
I think her psychiatrist is at fault. He continues to supply her with Adderall. He should cut her off. Adderall causes hand tremors, which would explain why she always has her fists closed. Adderall also contibutes to severe weight loss and feelings of imperviousness and weird decision making skills, not to mention run on sentences.
Carmen n’haLydia – Alohalaska –
I also share your thoughts of Molly Ivins – I had the opportunity to bring Molly and her friend over to Glacier Bay National Park. It’s about a 25 minute small plane ride from Juneau. We fished and Kayaked and had a grand old time. I guess it can make us both smile when we can think – I wonder what Molly would make of all of this. I have always had a tendency to reach to my shelf for some humor in life myself – it’s addicting you know. Take care now.

Brilliant !! And to one of the best songs ever !! Saw ‘em here in the 80′s a couple of times. As a matter of fact , the picture on the cover of “London Calling” was taken right here. I seriously got goosebumps just thinking about it…….Thanks !!
I hope that someone asks WAR at his confirmation how he would advise Sarah in this situation. I was trying to find out if there’s anyway the legislature could hold off on his confirmation until Juneau can be represented, but it doesn’t appear that there is.
The more I consider the plight of the folks in Juneau, the more I believe that a mandamus action ought to be filed seeking to force the governor to follow written procedure/rules in finding a replacement to fill the vacant senate seat. Someone needs to take a stand about making the governor follow the rules. Enough already.
@BigLake (April 15th, 2009 at 3:10 AM )–Actually, the whole Legislature has to vote on WAR’s appointment, so we’ll have 2 of 3 votes in that fight.
Remember when I chimed in with: “Follow the fashion” re: Palin & Arctic Cat? Well, now with this nomination, Palin has a shoe scandal on her hands.

The thought that would unsettle me about his being able to act as Interim AG prior to his confirmation is ‘What private information does he have access to of the citizens of AK?’ Does he have full access to all State documentation?
Should his vote fail on Thursday, if he has had access to citizen’s private info — who knows how or to whom he would use or provide this info.
lynnrockets
That rocked!
you can watch ktuu Ken Salzar interview here………there are 2 parts. Actually the interviewer seems to ask some pretty good questions.
http://alaskareal.blogspot.com/
Salazar is also the Secretary over the Bureau of Indian Affairs. I think his involvement in energy, environment and native departments will be good for Alaska and fairly influential in directions being taken. Time to clean up your act up there.
Says he’ll be back to AK many times, whew. I’m sure his “Native red flag antenna” is way up after being there and physically seeing things and he spent 2 days in AK to get a feel for both energy and Native needs.
I think AK politics will be watched more closely now which should help. But WAR has got to be thrown to the curb, he’s shown he’ll do anything and everything to get in the way of federal government involvement. I also bet he makes Palin and WAR quite nervous, probably many other powerful Alaskans also, too.
This visit was a big deal and Palin may be trying to downplay it’s importance or distract from it, ya think? Yup, I do. They didn’t hype it up to much before hand, yet they immediately threw up her “10 minute speech” on the web site as bragging rights for her strong energy leadership.
All her appointment, stimulus bickering, WAR, Levi and trip to IN smokescreens worked pretty well taking attention away from the fact the new Obama administration including the Presidents good friend senator Elton, chosen from AK (whose seat Palin is trying to steal), were coming to Palin’s turf. Did this even get national coverage?
MY WAY
(sung to Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”)
And now, the end is near;
To all of you, I’m glad I met ya’
Alaskans, let’s make it clear,
Did I fool you?, Oh yeah, “ya betcha!”
You’ve met Todd, the “First Dude”,
His snowmachine is in the driveway.
Is he drunk? My God, he’s blitzed,
The D.U.I. way.
Regrets, I’ve had a few;
More than most, I will remember.
My lipstick and my hair-do
But most of all, 4th of November.
Each day since then has been
Another never-ending whine and cry day,
And I’ve been told by Newt Gingrich,
To hit the high-way.
Yes, there were times, that now you know
I failed to declare “per diem” dough.
What’s this about “stimulus funds”?
Let’s just cling to, our God and guns.
Oh, I just winked and then I blinked;
And did it my way.
Nicknames, I’ve had a few
There’s “Caribou” and “Barracuda”
Now I’m known as “Sarah Who?”
Cuz Tina Fey is so much cuter.
To think I’m a has been;
And I can’t see – beyond next Friday
Woe, oh woe is me,
I won’t have my day.
For what is a gal, what has she got?
When her career, has gone to pot.
How to appear on nightly news;
When she’s inept at interviews.
She’s still exposed despite those clothes –
See – You – Next – Tuesday!
PLEASE, someone, I’m begging: write an essay on the fashion-related scandals of Sarah Palin, and how it relates to her inability to uphold public policy and ethics: the GOP clothes, the Arctic Cat jacket, and now a NAUGHTY MONKEY shoe-related state senate nominee…
You can tie in her narcissistic personality disorder symptoms and how they affect her current governing, as she is so tied to her beauty queen image of old…Palin thinks beauty is her strength; it is also her wound. The whole world can see it. All the Russians would have to do is offer her some clothes from someone haute couture Fall Collection and our national security would be in tatters.
With this last move she has completely embarrassed the Republican Legs. who worked hard to get a compromise. What are THEY thinking…?
There is no way they could justify this because they are playing by the Rules as well. All their work and effort was wasted. I hope the GOP Legs. are put ‘on the record’ now.
Canadan Neighbor, thanks for correcting my interim mistake, lol…….and yes, it is rather freaky what he has access to right now considering his connections to AIP other less desirable figures.
Since the TEAPARTY is tepid today, it seems the media is looking for more interesting news.

Ennealogic, what do you think her excuse would be for withdrawing WAR’s nomination? can she even do that? and wouldn’t that make her look more “erratic”? but I suppose anything is possible, lol
HAHAHAHAH!!! Evidently folks organizing a “Tea Party”in DC didn’t bother to get a permit from the National Park Service, and so they are stuck with ONE MILLION tea bags they were going to dump. Some office said they could put them in one of their 6th floor conference rooms. That’s not nearly so dramatic as outside someplace in the nation’s capitol. That also happened someplace else in DC, but not as many bags were involved.
Speculations on this board are running rampant regarding SP’s mental health and reasoning process’s. Yep, she’s a narcissist, she’s got a border-line personality disorder, and she’s probably lacking sleep, poor diet, and maybe isn’t getting any nookie from Todd. (I don’t think Tripp plays a part in her exhaustion level, Bristol, Piper and the Nanny take care of him.)
Todd, I think is a big string puller. We’ve already seen his hands on the reigns with the Troopergate thing. He’s just laying lower now, but you betcha his opinions are being listened to; after all she admitted early on in her term that she believes women to be subservient to men. Her religion demands that she do what Todd tells her. And Todd is an AIP member (in deed if not in fact), and their adgenda is pretty much what the Bush agenda was: prove government doesn’t work by breaking it. But in this case; it’s that the Feds and everybody else who doesn’t walk in lock-step with their beliefs are made to be the enemy. W.A. Ross’s reahtoric is a prime example of their plan to make Alaska the End of Times Refuge and seceed from the US. Ross’s confirmation should be rejected on the statement’s he made concerning the Federal goverment as the “enemy” alone.
*bravo* lynnrockets, *bravo*!! (now I have two songs stuck in my head lol)
Hmmm…let’s see: she’s stamped her foot about the Juneau choice; she’s huffed off to Indiana, avoiding decisions about stimulus monies; she’s replied “nya nya, you can’t make me” when asked to guide her proposed legislation; she’s MIA when her administrators have questions about policy…
Yup, put Palin in time out– preferably in Siberia.
I thought this post from the Juneau Empire summed things up nicely:

We just need to be patient.
If going without a senator is going to mean we’ll get rid of her as Governor, it’s worth it.
I think she’s officially surpassed Murkowski as the #1 WTF Governor of All Time.
She’s slowly ruining her career one psychotic decision at a time.
I don’t get it.
She’s either trying to ruin her own political career, or she’s mentally ill.
As much as I disagree with this woman, there is something seriously wrong with her.
I hope she eventually gets the help she needs so that she can fade out of politics and raise the rest of her children.
It’s actually pretty sad to watch her crash and burn right in front of our eyes. I’m having Britney Spears flashbacks…At least the Governor lost the Minnesota accent after the election.
I guess if she starts speaking with an English accent we should be even more concerned.
But for now, be patient, Juneau. Just sit back and watch…it’s only a matter of time.
Now I’m wondering if this could be another ethics complaint. Let’s see. She only had 1 name submitted and she didn’t like it so she named one of her own for the seat. rejected. So the Junea leg. sent a list of 4 names and she didn’t like any of them so she named one of her own. rejected. Now she sends the Junea leg. her own list of names including the ones already rejected and with a known Republican donor (hers) who recently changed his registration to Democrat so he could be considered for this Democratic Senate seat. This is so unbelievable! Where does it say the governor will send a list of names she selected for consideration? And this has nothing to do with the AG she selected who thinks it’s okay to say and do the outrageous things noted in the national media. My curiosity is aroused to see what the legistatures will do about her stance. It is no wonder the McCain people called her a whack job.
I am pleased that they turned this one back to GINO mocking her lack of understanding of the process. Nice move, GINO! I’d say that one backfired on her…especially since the news is spreading.
Her goose (or should I say turkey since she seems to be so fond of those birds?) is cooked…and she knows it.
Hang in there, Alaskans! We’re pulling for you!
hey AKM……would it be too “much”, lol, to add a Palin days to out of office countdown, something clever like? that would stay in the header area? or wait, that might be something close to slow drip drip torture everyday. unless it’s fun
BTW, I’m sure Ramras knows what’s in the news Miner story; it’s his LOCAL newspaper (he’s from Fairbanks).
A WHITER SHADE OF PALIN
(Sung to the Procol Harum song “A Whiter Shade of Pale”)
She drives a Dodge Durango,
Lipstick covers her cold-sore.
Bristol and Levi on the tube,
Starts the Palin-Johnston War.
Todd’s sister was arrested,
As was Sherry Johnston too.
There was the “Arctic Cat” fiasco,
Now Wayne Ross must bid adieu.
She sure was no debater,
She hates the Beluga Whales,
She kills wolves and slaughters turkeys,
Has a future like Dan Quayle’s.
Said “No” to Stimulus Funds,
And no bailout for the banks,
But she took the money just the same,
More “Thanks But No Thanks.”
All of these things happened lately,
Well after election day.
Political future wasted,
Like undeclared “per diem” pay.
And so it’s all over now,
Family members makin’ bail,
Sarah Palin’s just a punchline
To a joke in your e-mail.
lynnrockets–you rock (and are you related to Bardette?)
Is there anyone here that is from Juneau..?
And do they have ‘ talk radio ‘ show up there who discuss politics… and more specifically their Senate appointment… or should I saw lack thereof..?
The question is can she legally do this? If not then this is just a big snit and the Leg. can ignore it.
Me thinks it is time for the Leg. to seriously consider removing her as Gov. either by impeachment or by claims of incompetency.
Probably incompetency hearings would be quicker, though not necessarily permanent.
Certainly her “inability” to follow the protocol used for filling a vacant seat, and her inability to understand the ins and outs of complying with the Stimulus package the Leg. voted to accept, and I am sure many other “irregularities” like understanding the restrictions concerning outside income, abuse of per diems, could all be used as evidence that she is incapable of understanding and carrying out the duties of the Governor.
Just the fact of her intransigence about the Juneau seat and its implications of refusing representation to the voters of Juneau could be sufficient.
At least now when she does her paranoid whining, she will be right. No body likes her. And, yes, Sarah, everybody is against you.
AKM is not the only blogger who has observed Problems With Palin:
http://www.andrewhalcro.com/self_destruction_in_ten_nine_eight_seven_six
Forgive me if I’m off base/track here as I’m up in Wisconsin. But, why not quickly organize an event tomorrow to confront the leg and let them know her games won’t be accepted nor will WAR? Put the pressure on them to take a firm stand against her, no ifs/ands/buts. Make it so the pressure’s on them and if need be they too can be replaced if they aren’t willing to make her follow the rules. This is all just so unbelievable.
I love the airport idea and it would send the message loud and clear to the lower 48 that all is not well in Alaska, in spite of FIX news, C4P or Sarah’s spin team. I say you show up on the day she leaves and when she returns. If I were in Alaska, I’d walk up and down her street everyday in front of her house with a sign.
And then there’s Shannyn Moore:
“Grab a Red Bull and a seat belt. Prepare yourselves for another episode of ERRATIC PALIN BEHAVIOR. (EPB)”
You’re right– you can’t make this stuff up (shaking head; heading to kitchen for more popcorn).
wow, I hope the legislature has had it up to their eye balls with Palin!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>from ADN,
“But it’s the governor’s choice and Nelson, Grussendorf and Wilson were her top three after she took applications and conducted interviews, Leighow said. She said the governor’s new attorney general, Wayne Anthony Ross, who is up for a confirmation vote of the Legislature on Thursday, has signed off on it being legal to submit the three names. State law says that, if an appointee is rejected, a governor “shall appoint another qualified person.”
@honestyinGov–we don’t really have such types of local talk radio.
To InJuneau:
I apologize for not recognizing the name, but who is Bardette?
Thanks for the compliment, by the way. I’ll see what else I can come up with if it doesn’t begin to bore the posters out here.
One more thing? Have any of you received your invitation to the Bristol-Levi wedding? I wonder if mine was lost in the mail.
@Ennealogic (April 15th, 2009 at 8:40 AM)–funny thing-I actually dreamt last night that WAR withdrew himself. We could only hope!
@Lori, I’m totally with you at #212. Great find in that quote. People are calling her Governor Lindsay Lohan and Govern Britney Spears. It’s all so sad, because when people need mental health help and are in the public eye, well….
This latest move really is relevant as to her state of mind and her decision making process as it refers to her appointment of WAR. It is definitely flawed. Use it against her.
Make sure DOJ is aware of this ‘ erratic behavior’ and her WAR appointment. You know WAR will be her enabler and let this go on… and will get worse.
The WAR appointment must not go through. Two days left.

Couldn’t hurt telling the Legs. that you have emailed DOJ too. Make sure they know people are watching them.
Lynnerockets – You’re making me snort my tea, stop it! Darn it, the song “Yellow Submarine” will never be the same for me again.
oops, I meant Lori @#219…(
new thread
@lynnrockets–Ah, Bardette is another poster who also skillfully alters song lyrics to appropriate AKan situations! I figured you must be related in some way!
Hm, my invitation must, too, be lost in the mail!
SARAH
(sung to the theme of “Flipper”)
They call her Sarah, Sarah, her beehive is frightening,
No one could be, as clueless as she,
And we know Sarah, lost an election that stunned her,
Interview blunders, on the T.V.!
“Ya Betcha” we saw, how vapid was she,
Yet she saw herself, as darn “Mavericky”,
She talked of a bridge, off to nowhere,
Referred to herself as a tough “Mama Bear”!
They call her Sarah, Sarah, in need of enlightening,
No one you see, was impressed with she,
And we know Sarah, lacked strong college education,
Unwed procreation, was more up her tree!
Palin’s rejection of Egan makes it clear that she is playing some sort of game. At first I thought it was the “anyone but Kerttula” game – which is her right – but this latest move makes me convinced that we are dealing with an erratic, unfocused, vengeful, partisan governor who is neither governing nor leading.
John McCain handed Palin a phenomenal opportunity, an entre onto the national scene that few people ever get (let alone those from Alaska). She has squandered that gift and will never get a do over. We are all losers as a result. Her 15 minutes of fame is very quickly running out. The question is: what are WE going to do now?
There are two stories currently in the Juneau empire that you can blog on – dealing with the Senate appointment and the WAR appointment. Ya might just mosey on over and leave a comment or two.
Don’t hesitate to change your name on your ADN acct. often.
Street Beat: I’ve been on ADN reading the story about Palin giving Dems 3 names… of the 150 comments, only a few are pro-Palin, and those only have 1 or 2 “recommends.” The rest are strongly anti-Palin and have many, many, many “recommends.” I guess the Palinbots are still sleeping?

Juneau will still not have Representation tomorrow when the AG will be voted on. I still have hopes WAR will not be confirmed and I’ll be especially angry if he gets in by a one vote margin. (Juneau, where are you?)
_____________________
Isnt’ it unethical for Palin to deliberately manipulate this appointment to improve her chances of getting WAR approved? Really, who is she kidding? She is delaying this appointment. Her appointments are flagrantly inappropriate. They don’t even qualify as Dems. This is major game-playing and demonstrates a strong will, for sure, BUT IT IS NOT GOOD GOVERNANCE and does not serve the people of her state. Anyone who supports Palin is completely dishonest or incredibly ignorant.

No, they are hitting the “report abuse” button on those who are not pro palin, and keeping a majority of the comments hidden pending site review. The ADN staff have gone through once already and fixed it, but it is happening all over again. I think that they are hoping to get the comments section shut down permanently so that no one can say anything negative about the Governor. They prove that they don’t want free speech if it disagrees with their viewpoints. Most of the hidden comments are not inflammatory or obscene, instead questioning the behavior or judgement of the Governor. It is really sad that they cannot handle any form of discussion or discourse.
i have not been allowed to post on ADN. This confuses me because I was told that the ADN was actually just a front for the Anti-Palin Make Up Funny Songs Blog. Am I mistaken?
We WILL have 2 of the three votes we should for the WAR confirmation vote. Not that I’m not ticked off about not having our full 3 votes, but it’s a vote of the COMBINED House and Senate so our two House Reps. will be voting.
@lynnrockets (April 15th, 2009 at 10:50 AM )–oh, man, did they change their purpose without telling us?
Hey, new news on this front: http://community.adn.com/adn/node/140562
Dems won’t vote on Palin’s three names for Senate seat

From Sean Cockerham in Juneau –
State Senate Democrats are refusing to vote on the three names that Gov. Sarah Palin forwarded as appointees for the open Senate seat. They obtained a legal opinion this morning saying it is illegal for Palin to submit more than one name.
“There is nothing for us to vote on, there is no appointment,” said Senate Judiciary Chairman Hollis French, an Anchorage Democrat. “The governor has taken an unusual course which is outside the law and leaves us no choice but to ignore what she‘s done.”
The governor’s attorney general appointee, Wayne Anthony Ross, said in response that he needs to review the legal opinion by Pam Finley, revisor of statutes. But Ross said he believes what Palin did was legal and appropriate, given the time that he’s had to review it up to this point.
“It seems to me the most important thing that can be done by the Senate is not argue with legal or illegal but to appoint somebody to represent Juneau,” said Ross, whose own appointment is up for a confirmation vote by the Legislature tomorrow.
Palin surprised lawmakers Tuesday night by forwarding the names of three appointees to the single open state Senate seat.
Two of them, Tim Grussendorf and Joe Nelson, have already been rejected by the Senate Democrats. The third, Alan Wilson, is a Juneau contractor who became a Democrat on March 4, and was previously registered nonpartisan.
Palin must appoint a Democrat from Juneau to the seat, which opened when longtime Juneau Democratic Sen. Kim Elton resigned for an Obama administration job. Palin said Senate Democrats could choose from among the three names.
Her pick requires approval of a majority of the nine state Senate Democrats.
Those are some f*ing ugly shoes.
TX indygirl….maybe they are out teabagging each other today….
Someone should show these dorks how to google teabagging images
Changing party affiliation is not new to Sarah, nor does she see anything wrong with it. She freely admitted that she changed her party affiliation from AIP to GOP in order to make it easier for her to intergrate into the Alaskan political arena.
She sees nothing wrong with this type of action.

Do any of you remember that Craig Ferguson interview Sarah did? She used a lot of her ‘come hither’ provocative moves on him.

Palin Days
(sung to the theme of “Happy Days”)
Sunday, Monday, Palin days.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Palin days.
Thursday, Friday, Palin days.
The weekend’s here, that “Bridge to Nowhere”,
“Thanks But Not Thanks” to you.
She prays for hours. To be V.P.
She prays for hours. With the A.I.P.
Hello, “Joe Sixpack” I love you, “Joe the Plumber” is my type too.
I did it with Todd, I did it with John. I feel like a “pig with lipstick” on!
Sunday, Monday, Palin days.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Palin days.
Thursday, Friday, Palin days.
Saturday, Oh, Tina Fey,
I’ve been dreamin’ all week of you.
She prays for hours. “Caribou Barbie”.
She prays for hours. Who’ll tea-bag me?.
These Palin days, will she resign?
These Palin days, she’s a punch-line, Palin days.
The Perps4Palin are fueld by this Governor’s own divisive, finger pointing, blame game, backstabbing, victim mentality. They march to the beat of her manic drum. They will follow her off a cliff rather than admit that she could ever do any wrong. Perhaps we are seeing the Palin natural divisiveness kick into the P4P operations – seems to follow her everywherre yaknow!
It certainly didn’t take the GOP 3 years to figure out they had been “Palined”, and to throw her off their bus. TeamSarah and the Perps4Palin haven’t gotten that memo yet – they still “believe” she is the chosen one.
I just looked at the comments section on the ADN story about Little Miss Sunshine naming 3 people for the senate seat. The most recent post is from somebody named TheSDog with a picture of Spock from Star Trek next to it.
WTF? Am I missing something here?
The Wasilla Hillbillies:
Come and listen to a story about a man named Todd
A poor contractor, who barely kept his family fed
Then one day, his wife became Wasilla mayor,
Then through that she became the Alaska Governor.
Oil. that is
Per Diems, Ethic complaints
Well the first you know, that ole Todd’s a millionaire
Kinfolk said, Todd you gotta move away from here.
Juneau is the place you outta go.
So they packed up the truck and moved to AnchOrage.
The Wasilla Hillbillies!
Well now it’s time to say goodbye to Todd and all his kin
And they would like to thank all the media for kindly droppin in
You’re all invited back, to this locality
To have a heapin help of their hospitality
Wasillabilly that is, Set a spell. Take your shoes off. Ya’ll come back now, ya hear?!
Ok I know its corny.
But everytime I hear or read about Palin, I hear banjo’s playing in the background.
This is starting to look like it’s a lot about Sealaska Corporation. Republican Rep. Bill Thomas just got elected/appointed to Sealasaska’s Board of Directors also. I think this is where the pressure is coming from (and the tactics). Sealaska Corporation and the Republicans are pushing hard for Joe Nelson. Juneau Empire poll currently at 51% yes for Democrats rejecting choices not on the original list. Keep on voting–in the arena of public opinion. http://www.juneauempire.com
ROFLMAO I had to read this three times just to make sure I read it right…
TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Her power trip has gotten WAAAY out of hand!!! It is starting to look like she is well on her climb up to a GOD COMPLEX…
Her hunger for power and control has consumed any rationality that may have existed in that hollow head…..This tantrum goes above and beyond…
The LEG and PEOPLE of ALASKA need to explain to this spoiled rotten brat that this is totally unacceptable behavior and if she can’t follow the rules, she can no longer play the game. Then stick her in a corner while she is being IMPEACHED or RECALLED.
sigh I know, DREAM ON

Well said.
A commenter on ADN points out that WAR is saying the Senate should “appoint … somebody”. BUT only the gov can appoint, the senate can only confirm. If WAR really said that (see quote below) then he must be _REALLY_ confused or not too bright.—
It seems to me the most important thing that can be done by the Senate is not argue with legal or illegal but to appoint somebody to represent Juneau,” said Ross,

Keep up the good work. Maybe this can be the Anti-Palin Make Up Funny Songs Blog.
To Juneau:
It would be appropriate to throw Naughty Monkey shoes, no?
I too was totally blocked from posting, and I adhered to the posting rules. I deleted my account, but am thinking of doing was Ak Sisu suggests.
The Senate cannot vote on anything, because there has been no appointment. The Governor cannot appoint three people at once.
WHO is helping her!
Where on the Juneau Empire page do you vote? Thanks.
duct–look toward the bottom on the left. It’s labeled “Online Poll”.
I can’t believe that I am still AMAZED at the stuff that SP does (or doesn’t do). Honestly, when she goes back underground, life is going to be so boring again! I keep thinking that this is a Saturday Night Live nightmare that just never ends. Even though it is funny it is sooooo sad at the same time.
Thanks InJuneau!
SARAH THE RED STATE BIMBO
(sung to the theme of “Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer”)
Sarah the Red State bimbo
Had a very strange hairstyle
And she had a way of speaking
That reminded one of Gomer Pyle
All of the other guv’nors
Used to laugh and call her names
Because her stupid glasses
Were all lens but had no frames
Then one balmy summer day
John McCain enquired
Sarah, you’re so “mavericky”
Won’t you please be my V.P.?
Then all the dumb red staters
Wondered who the hell was she
They never heard of Sarah
The Alaskan hillbilly
Palingates has now listed all of the criteria necessary for a recall.
So you found it, duct? I think if you vote then close the Juneau Empire window then open it anew you may be able to vote more than once…
This is unacceptable and must be reigned in.
Seriously, what is the oversight process to the Executive Office? There must be something between the two extremes of doing nothing and recalling.
She draws a salary from the State of Alaska, with fringe benefits, health insurance and retirement plan. She IS an employee and performs work functions from a duty station. This constitutes compensated employment.
She needs a ‘personnel action’, counseled and be given the opportunity to make changes to job performance in order to continue employment.
She is not royalty on honorary allowance, nor is she Evita Peron.
This is too funny. The hHuffpo’s main page has the tea party story. some old GrandPa looking really weary and is holding a sign “Don’t blame me…I voted for Sarah” These people are NUTS!!!!

too bad it’s not the dueling kind
@InJuneau #253
thanks for the article from Sean Cockerham
Also (too), what’s the story with your legislators??? who endlessly put up with palin’s antics…can’t they or won’t they finally say ‘enough’?
I’ve never seen anything like this…a comedy of errors, but sad and embarrassing for you that palin is allowed to portray Alaska as one big joke in the eyes of the nation!

ROCKIN’ WASILLA
(Sung to the Clash song “Rock The Casbah”)
Now Sarah told her cabinet
Go find a racist for A.G.
They came up with Wayne Ross for that
She immediately agreed
He also was a gay basher
He’s a misogynist to boot
She liked him even more now
“This appointin’ thing’s a hoot!”
CHORUS
Sarah loves her day job
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Sarah loves her day job
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Next thing on her agenda…
To fill a Senate seat
Tim Grussendorf was her choice
The Dems said he’s dog meat
So Joe Nelson was her next choice
The Dems labeled him a bum
She next submitted three names
They said,”We don’t need your scum!”
It seems that the Big Dems
Hurt “Mama Bear”
She began to wail…
CHORUS
Sarah P. don’t like it
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Sarah P. don’t like it
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Now back at Casa Palin
Oh’ They really pack ‘em in
Levi’s sleepin’ over
They’re treatin’ him like kin
But as the wind changed direction
And Levi lost a wife
Sarah went on air
With that crazy Palin jive
CHORUS
Sarah P. don’t like it
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Sarah P. don’t like it
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Sarah told the legislators
It’s time for me to get away
I’m going down to Indiana
On per diem pay.
As soon as the Guv’nor was
Chauffeured outta there
The Dems said, “Good Riddance”
And stay away from here
As soon as the Guv’nor was
Outta their hair
The Democrats wailed…
CHORUS
Sarah P. don’t like it
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Sarah P. don’t like it
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Sarah P. don’t like it (she thinks its not Kosher)
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Sarah P. don’t like it (fundamentally she can’t take it)
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
Sarah P. don’t like it (you know she really hates it)
Rockin’ Wasilla
Rockin’ Wasilla
The New Republic’s blog the plank now has a mudflats post. you rock!
CG 169 — Apparently, according to ADN, WAR:
“But it’s the governor’s choice and Nelson, Grussendorf and Wilson were her top three after she took applications and conducted interviews, Leighow said. SHE SAID THE GOVERNOR’s NEW ATTORNEY GENERAL, WAYNE ANTHONY ROSS, WHO IS UP FOR A CONFIRMATION VOTE OF THE LEGISLATURE ON THURSDAY, HAS SIGNED OFF ON IT BEING LEGAL TO SUBMIT THE THREE NAMES. State law says that, if an appointee is rejected, a governor “shall appoint another qualified person.” ADN – 04/14/09 posted 22:02:40.
Who’s a naughty monkey now?
To quote a line from one of my favorite movies, “She ain’t all there is she?”
has anyone filed an ethics complaint for disruptive behaviour or has anyone started a recall?
Fabulous graphic!
Mudflats makes The New Republic on this story (about half way down page):
http://blogs.tnr.com/tnr/blogs/the_plank/default.aspx
GO AKM!
Just in from ADN – Palin meant her list to be considered “in order” and urges the legislature to act swiftly.
http://community.adn.com/adn/node/140584
Apparently I’ve been banned from ADN, also … since my comments haven’t been posted for the past several days.
You have to love it when an old lady who’s never even said the ‘F-word’ aloud gets banned … just because she is intelligent enough and did enough background research to see Palin as what she is …
Um … that’s immature, vindictive, egotistical, divisive and not all that intelligent …
I miss being part of ADN’s conversations, and view those Palin supporters who have continually hit the Abuse button on posts which disagree with their point of view (instead of doing the adult thing and presenting intelligent responses) as being as childish as Palin appears to be.
Thanks for listening to my frustration. Mudflats is a great site–even for a registered Republican old gal like myself who just couldn’t vote a ticket with the Palin name on it!
Just thought I’d say that Andrew Sullivan has a post up quoting and linking to mudflats

Mudflats is The source for news on what is happening in Alaskan politics.
Thanks AKM for doing a great job of telling it like it is.
I have been getting “temporarily flagged for abuse’ or whatever the phrase is at the ADN. This is not ADN, this is Sarah’s team going in a flagging over and over anything that is remotely not pro Palin on a topic so the poster gets booted by an automatic program (I believe that is how it works) Tonite I sat and watched as things disappeared where article said 89 comments and there were only 7 there. I wrote to the Editor. Anyone who has been unfairly flagged and blocked should be writing him and telling them that you have been. I think they are somewhat aware based on comments from posters at Andrew Halcros blog. All of my posts have followed the rules and none have ever warranted the label of “abuse”
Can you start flagging all the pro-Palin comments if some Pro-Sara person(s) is flagging all the negative comments?
I am so glad Obamb put her in this mess. Do you think he did this on pupose, or is there really a God?
I can not even get the most boring comments posted any longer. Seems like ADN is pandering to Palin’s psycho followers. Doesn’t she know that you cannot change public opinion by stopping it? These people are totally whacko. Anyway, thanks for allowing us to talk! And thanks AK for not endorsing WAR!
