Does anyone else get the “spin” feeling that Scarah said something about the Tiller killing to make sure she covered her butt asap? I do, I think they thought sh*t we gotta say something quick to distance and state something to protect Scarah’s involvement with Right to Life supporters.

    http://www.military.com/news/article/alaska-may-be-in-nkorea-missile-reach.html

“Yonhap, quoting government sources, said the missile could be ready to launch in a week or two. South Korean media have speculated that the North wants to time the launch for around June 16, when South Korean President Lee Myung-bak has a summit in Washington with President Barack Obama.”

“In another sign that a new launch is in the works, the North has designated a large area off its west coast as a “no-sail” zone through the end of next month, the Chosun Ilbo newspaper said, citing unidentified intelligence officials.

Yonhap said North Korean troops conducted amphibious assault maneuvers along with west coast. Other media carried similar reports. South Korean defense and intelligence officials refused to comment.

On Yeonpyeong island, one of South Korea’s northernmost islands near North Korea, South Korean naval boats and a warship were patrolling waters around the disputed western sea border, but no incidents were reported.

The area is rich in fish, and May and June are the crab-catching season, meaning the waters are generally crowded with commercial ships. “

OK – just have to share. Here’s a response on the Politico website to the statement the Gov. made on the Tiller murder:

“Sorry folks, if Palin said that, let alone thought that, she is now a pod-person, securely taken over by a semi-intelligent human being. So instead, I’ll have to go with “once a dunce, still a dunce” for $200, Alex.”

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/01/sarah-palin-tiller-murder_n_209896.html

I feel sorrow for the Tiller family. I respect the sanctity of life and the tragedy that took place today in Kansas clearly violates respect for life. This murder also damages the positive message of life, for the unborn, and for those living. Ask yourself, ‘What will those who have not yet decided personally where they stand on this issue take away from today’s event in Kansas?’

Regardless of my strong objection to Dr. Tiller’s abortion practices, violence is never an answer in advancing the pro-life message.”

    Governor Sarah Palin

Say NO to Palin in Politics Says:

over at ceepee land………. too funny, they’re saying hey, Bush started the “recovery” during his term by implementing Tarp, (the game plan), their hero.

I’d say it was more like a last minute play, like oh cr*p the sh*t is gonna hit the fan, our economy is going to collapse one month before the end of my term and a presidential election.

So in their eyes, Bush saves the day with his Tarp game plan, so they say give credit where credit is do. LOL, crazy ceepee thinkers, stretching for anything and everything to validate their party. They say, yay for our Bush coming to the rescue with his program, then out of the other side of their mouth say as “most government programs go” it wasn’t enough, giving him an out, poor W, of course Obama would need to step in and add more “government programs”.

So, what do they want, glory for their Bush rescue using “government programs”, like it’s “okay” if a repub does it? or the other, growing government and throwing government into the mix never works as in a Dem doing it, lol……..

    they are so twisted……..

“George W. Bush, in a fashion similar to Hoover, set the game plan for the next administration. George W. Bush was in the Oval Office when the first “TARP” legislation was passed. Bush, and his treasury secretary Henry Paulson, urged the nation to get behind the bill in order to “save the financial system.” Of course, as most government programs go, this was not enough.”

Then, another ceepee says a poll shows 62% think Bush not Obama caused the melt down and they’re squawking this type gibberish………

“I couldn’t believe it when I read that! Obama and the Dems have been very smart to blame Bush for everything and people eat it up.”

Oh austintx, that T-shirt is just priceless! What a great find by you.

By the way, I was thrilled to find out how many other people there are that love to “hose” and who spoke of the calming effect it has on one’s wellbeing. I too am one of those people. I am known at our house as the “mad hoser” and it is a source of great sadness to me that we live in such a dry continent – always in drought and water restrictions. I would dearly love go to Alaska and get my hands on that high pressure cleaner – oh what a joy that would be. In my head I even designed a house that had cement floors with drains in each room so that I could at least get some enjoyment out of my housework – helped by the fact that I had 6 children – 5 of whom are boys, who thought nothing of heading to the shower after a game while still wearing their muddy football boots.

GlobalVillage – I know people don’t believe it , but you can’t put it down once you start !! Now this……..

Matthews called the attack a “cheap shot” and the trip as a sign that the president, unlike his predecessor, appreciates culture. He pointed out that the Republicans never complained about President Bush’s frequent trips to Texas. “This is the kind of pissant criticism that makes you wonder why Michael Steele still has his job,” Matthews exclaimed. “Is this jealousy, or just nincompoop anti-intellectualism?”

Where is the info about the next swap? I checked the Forum and the I Heart…,but didn’t find it. I would like to participate. Been looking all over for something purple that I would like to send…so far no luck, but I have faith that will change.

Loved the picture of your wee doggie KJ. I have a 100 lb part Husky, part Lab mix who likes to crawl under the bed to sleep. When she was younger, she would get on her belly and swim to get under. Now that she older, I raised the bed to make it easier for her, but I need a stool to get into bed. The things we do for love…

Seems quiet tonight. Where are you all?

I was just reading Huffpo and there are some pretty hilarious comments on you know who regarding her press release on the Dr. Tiller murder. There is also a good post by Shannyn on the same subject.

Pearl89-Lol….I have done similar things to accommodate my dogs. They are my kids now that the nest is empty so they rule the house (so do my cats for that matter. In fact, they pretty much own the house.)
