Fun With Statistics!
OK…one last thought.
June, 2009
In New York City, a crowd gathered with signs of protest, wanting David Letterman to go away. The crowd was estimated at 50 people. That’s .0006% of the population of New York City.
September, 2008
In Anchorage Alaska, a crowd gathered with signs of protest, wanting Sarah Palin to go away. The crowd was estimated at 1500 people. That’s .54% of the population of Anchorage.
So….given home court advantage to each of them, the number of people protesting Palin was 90,000% higher than those protesting Letterman.
Just sayin’.

I like those statistics!
Me too, Irsh, those are IMPEACHMENT numbers.
Hooray for the truth in numbers!
Hey – And the Anchorage signs are better too.also. Did you see that plywood piece of s^*t they had in NYC ?? If not , I’ll post again………http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2009/06/16/2009-06-16_fire_dave_crowd_lines_up_to_protest_lettermans_palin_joke.html
oops.
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2009/06/16/2009-06-16_fire_dave_crowd_lines_up_to_protest_lettermans_palin_joke.html
It would be nice if those protesters turned out again and again, in Alaska. Certainly no shortage of topics. Alaskans for Truth for one.
Remind me not to hire John Ziegler to lead a grass-roots movement for change. Or to wash my car.
I like those stats!
Having only 50 people show up for the Big Protest—–that makes my day!
WHEW!!!!!!!!!
Sarah should get the “hint” when she sees the number in Alaska.
Does anyone want to guess her next move?
Wonder if Fox News will report the BIG protest. If they do have a report, they will probably fudge on numbers.
Numbers are magic. I love them.
50 people is probably more than will pay to see John Ziegler’s documentary.
faux will say 5,000 showed up. Wonder what’s next for the drama queen…
Are you suggesting that everyday Alaskans are smarter than the average palinista?
OMG!!!! Does this mean that GINO will now head back to Alaska with her tail between her legs and blood in her eye? Don’t worry, AKM. I ain’t ascairt of her!! I’ve got your back!!
hahahah, dog! snark!
This is the link I used to get to the live video of the hearing last week:
http://anchorageak.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=2
BUT, I do NOT see it on the schedule for a video broadcast this evening, wonder why? I will keep checking that link to see if they add video again tonight. Where is my co-broadcaster, austin???
Thank you for the relativity. Palin should have called her simpleton dogs off. Her acceptance of Dave’s sincere apology was LAME and CLASSLESS…but, given her childish blow up of a NON-EVENT…it isn’t surprising…
Hi Lori! Maybe there won’t be anything until the meeting starts?
ET is reporting that there were more reporters than protestors who numbered at “barely over a dozen.”
Right here Lori !! justafarmer checked in somewhere awhile ago and is ready. Others are coming also.too. We are going to BEAT last times record of posts , are we not ??
Good pics on this site:

sauerkraut – Did you see the plywood sign ?? Bet they stole the wood from a construction site on the way there…….
Boy oh boy, I bet she though her masses would surround the building and Letterman would be fired. 50 people, LMAO, and she thinks she’s headed for the White House, hehohum! See the former link, shows antiPalin signs, they’re pretty good.
There’s a link that will prob. be active once the meeting starts at the top middle of this web page under “Related Links”: http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/anchorage/city_election/assembly/story/832195.html
So, in her run as Pres she’ll get .0006% of the popular vote?
Oh Paula – Thanks for that link !!
Love the 2 guys next to the Faux News truck……..Dang , that s^*t is FUNNY !!
@austintx:
“Did you see the plywood sign ?? Bet they stole the wood from a construction site on the way there…….”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
seriously! where you could you possibly find a huge piece of plywood in mid-town Manhattan! LOL! just trying to imagine her getting on the subway.
Did you see on those signs they are calling Letterman, a sex offender? This is the kindof freaks Palin, incites. Scary, truly frightening.
@ paula #21: Great signs!:
“Sarah needs a life. Bristol needs a spouse. I see idiots from my house.”
so funny, 50 people out to protest Letterman and about half of them reporters. HAHAHA, epic fail! Most of the cable news shows are laughing at the GINO, they just can’t help it. The issue will soon be forgotten, but her tantrum will not. And I expect the late night jokes to continue at her expense.
hahahaaa! Loved the sign at the Village Voice:
“I can see idiots from my house”
So here’s the thing. Love her, hate her, we’re all talking about her, and that’s what she wants. McCain ran for President; no one is talking about him. You can put Newt, Rush, Billo and Glen together, and I think that Sarah out does them in attracting a figurative crowd. That’s why they keep her around; Sarah is an attention getter. (Sarah, note, they are just using you). And, Sarah is using the opportunity to raise much needed money. We just can’t quit her.
Here is a great response on the protest site:
carrie says:
The best part is Palin’s response. You must read it—-it’s a doozy. Here is one part.
Palin:”This is all thanks to our U.S. military men and women putting their lives on the line for us to secure America’s right to free speech,” she said. “In this case, may that right be used to promote equality and respect.”
Really Palin….you think that the men and women in the military are putting their lives on the line to secure America’s right to free speech? Does she even know what country she is living in? Does she know why the military is overseas? Does she know that we have a Constitution that protects free speech? Last time I checked, we were not in immediate danger of being overthrown by another country so they could take away our freedoms. Does she have a clue about the current conflicts in the Middle East?
Gawd, she is dumb.
On one of the recent threads, someone (who I should acknowledge, but lack time right now — you know who you are) observed that in NYC, 50 people is not a demonstration, it’s just the usual crowd waiting to cross the street.
So here’s the thing. Love her, hate her, we’re all talking about her, and that’s what she wants.
———-
Oh but I am guessing miss high and mighty went to bed smirking thinging she took Letterman down, he said I am sorry and on Tuesday, that SOB will lose his job forever. I saw on the Palin lovers site that people were posting and asking, “Where is the live feed that was promised?” 50 people, that makes her look like a blundering fool. I bet she screaching away. And, yes, new jokes, New York City and she can’t get more than 50 people? Pathetic.
@austintx — watch that; she’s gonna get after you for a sex joke.
Does any one else see in Palin’s acceptance, a rejection of his explanation that he meant Bristol? She’s still talking about the exploitation.
Why would she accept the apology if she thought Letterman was still lying about how the joke was misunderstood?
Look at it this way, she traded in her “flooding the lower 48 with clean gas…” for this insanity. I say we won.
@mae, true–but here’s what we’re saying about Sarah Palin: that she can’t take a joke…that her nat’l supporters are small in numbers, a fervent fringe group…
Nearly 8 months after the election, who would have thought that’s where the conversation on Palin would be?
If her major accomplishment area continues to be in regards to professional comedy, I would think Romney, Jindal and Pawlenty will be laughing the hardest.
Recently, Kathleen Parker wrote that Jindal was very smart, right? Then maybe he’s laughing the most right now.
She’s just like crack……..one more hit , baby………
2. How close to Gonsalves, Rove……..
Extensive knowledge of global energy issues to cover her non-knowledge. You can bet his Washington connections will be exploited to work on return of defense funds.
No mention of McAllister as he was just moved over to that office area.
http://www.gov.state.ak.us/news.php?id=1910
that rally is from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on the sidewalks outside, they’ll need at least 2 pizzas to feed that mob. Is Palin buying?
I know that Palin wants her name to be talked about and as I have mentioned before she not only thrives on the attention, but like a petulant toddler she doesn’t care what kind of attention she gets as long as she is getting attention.
I know that some people feel that this is only helping her because it is keeping her name in the news, but in my opinion when she is talked about due to things like this Letterman issue where it is becoming more and more obvious that this was more pettiness on her part than “protective mama grizzly” like she pretends to be, it doesn’t help her in the long run, instead it is really hurting her a lot.
If and when she decides to run for any national office, all of this petty personal stuff is going to come back to haunt her in a BIG way. In this day and age with youtube and google, people are going to be able to find every single thing that she has ever said or done and since the majority of it doesn’t portray her in a good light, instead shows her to be divisive, negative, spiteful, histrionic, and unable to acknowledge mistakes of any kind, as well as continued lack of basic knowledge on national politics/foreign affairs/national security/etc… on every level,……..well stick a fork in her because she will be ALL DONE!!!
isn’t this stuff covered on your local news networks? for all to see? …or is your local TV news filtered by the palin regime?
mae lewis “So here’s the thing. Love her, hate her, we’re all talking about her, and that’s what she wants.”
Not quite, Palin, wants to be feared, adored, worshiped, bowed down to but not liked or called, Slutty…drives her bat sht crazy. What she cannot control will cost her everything. Keep the pressure on her.
I guess all the far-right internet candlelight vigils were a bust also too.
Dear Late Show Advertisers:
Wow, this is the letter those sick tickets asked Palin defenders to send to Letterman advertisers:
As an advertiser on the David Letterman show, you endorse his point of view, I am appalled that your company supports the rape of young girls.
On June 8th 2009 Mr. Letterman “joked” that a female Governor of the United States is “slutty” and worse still, “joked” about her 14 year-old daughter and statutory rape by an adult baseball player. He continued his slander of this young girl during his June 9th show, likening her to a prostitute. I refuse to buy products from a company who supports such a vulgar, reprehensible attitude toward women and girls.
@ mae west #32: Yes, that’s what Palin fails to understand. She keeps herself in the spotlight for melodramatic Springer-type headlines.
The real politicians are not over-exposing themselves. The serious candidates are waiting for appropriate publicity opportunities to show some substance and intelligence — things that Palin lacks. She is a fake, a place-holder until someone more qualified can take her job.
ROFLMAO@ those statistics!
Too funny!
That’s all the hype resulted in?
Dave will likely have some fun with this….I wonder if the squirting streetlamp is working tonite!
My guess is that Dave Letterman will still be around and relevant far longer than either Palin or Ziegler.
And also too, Paula #49, I’ve contacted many of the advertisers. Nobody can say that I don’t follow my marching orders.
Finally, a big hello to all of you mudflatters.
Palin will say the numbers were low because she already accepted the apology before the protest was scheduled to start.
You’re right. The only things missing are the sandwich boards.
Yup. As a former New Yorker, 50 or more could be on the corner waiting for the light to change at any given moment.
Light-waiting-changers do not constitute a protest in New York City…far from it.
Sunk, Sarah.
Keith Olbermann is going to talk about Palin after this commercial break. Can you tell I like to watch MSNBC?
Now this a a rally in NYC
Anyone catch that video of Zeigler on that dating show, where the woman pretty much walked out on him? I don’t reall if it’s posted on this site or on Shannyons site. If you have not seen it, go get it! It’s a gas.
Vote Letterman for Governor.
Letterman believes in the First Amendment.
I guess Hitler, Mussolini, and apparently Palin too may not have been big fans of free speech.
Just drove past Loussac Library, where the ANC Assembly meets, and the red shirts are out on every corner.
again, sigh.
Keith just announced that AP is reporting that he is going to provide benefits to same sex couples that are federal employees. To be announced next Wednesday.
Next up something about Palin!
Ooops…sorry. I should have put that in the Open Thread. At least I mentioned Palin. Lol.
Oh the power of the Mudflatters – the palinbots are now posting on The Village Voice. I’m SURE they got the link from these comments!
Lori – new thread. Come on.
Just put this on the other thread, too (“Is it Over Yet?”). K.O. just reported that there were only 40 Palin “protesters” and CBS, and that whoever was in charge of it hopped in a cab and sped away as soon as he saw how few protesters were there. (Anyone know who that was?)
Is the answer Jesus? (actually that is just a funny line from the movie, Slapshot with Paul Newman, but I couldn’t help myself)
@Lynnrockets, LOL!
@ Professor Geezer #75: New York State assemblyman Brian Kolb, freelance TV legal analyst Gwendolyn Lindsay-Jackson, and radio host and documentarian John Ziegler organized the “Fire David Letterman” rally.
As newspaper reporter Dickie Dunn from the same movie said, “I was just trying to capture the spirit of the thing, Reg.”
After all the news reporters, how many do you think there were? 20? That’s what I’m thinking. I really do wonder how many fox and c4p reported? Hundreds? I did laugh out loud when I read the one article that dozens showed up, a bakers dozen?
What fun, and I hope late night comics throw the slutty gov under the bus, and drive over her a few times.
Look & listen to Sarah Palin giving advice to Hillary Clinton. Would you like cheese with that whine?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC-tOzXQOsk
@ds55, do you think it was Brian Kolb who jumped into the cab?
@ Prof. Geezer: Kolb probably had the most to lose by sticking around.
Yeah – and the sheet of plywood for the sign was the roof off their lean-to. Yup – that was mean…but these people do that to me.
Palin scares me. She keeps attacking people who are merely exercising First Amendment rights. Earlier it was bloggers. Now its comedians.
I’m convinced if Palin were ever in a position to censor or penalize people who publicly disagreed with her, or even said jokes she didn’t like, she would. Scary stuff. Perhaps someday they’ll track us down and throw us in jail.
It’s not over, according to the die hard bots. Believe it or not, protests for Letterman are scheduled to keep rolling…can’t keep those Palinbots down! they have another nagfest scheduled in Texas this weekend, and Arkansas and Tennessee are next. Makes perfect sense – How else are outraged geriatric ladies and their grandsons going to spend quality time together in the red states? They bond over painting hate posters about aging comedians and the decline of morals on late night television.
FWIW The Constitution protects citizens against the government (that includes a governor) for trying to shut folks up. Not the other way around.
#75 Professor Geezer – I have information that the protests were organized in New York by a Mike Leahy, who is also giving the go ahead to the next ones. A Mark E. Gillar is organizing the ones in Texas, Tennesse, etc, and he is the one who put Ziegler in touch with Leahy for added publicity in New York, according to his own PR. Ziegler was not an organizer, just there to cover.
@Helen. Thanks. The farther away it gets from the apologies (date-wise), the worse the “protesters” look, IMHO.
Thanks for the stats, AKM!!
She already has one. Remember the snit about the magazine cover (Times? Newsweek?) that they didn’t airbrush?
From CNN via Huffpo:
Letterman protest draws more media than activists
Posted: 09:04 PM ET
.
Fifteen protesters showed up Tuesday outside of the studio where David Letterman tapes his talk show program.
NEW YORK (CNN) — A protest rally against David Letterman over a failed joke about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her daughter attracted more members of the media than protesters Tuesday afternoon.
A crowd of 15 protesters upset with the late night comic held signs and occasionally shouted as they stood across the street from Letterman’s studio.
But they were often hidden from view by the more than 35 members of the media there to cover the protest, and out-shouted by a few very vocal counter-protesters.
Radio talk show host John Ziegler — who is behind the FireDavidLetterman.com Web site that organized the protest, and who is an outspoken supporter of the former Republican vice presidential candidate — told reporters that the turnout at the event was not representative of the number of people who have responded to his site and e-mailed.
He also argued that Letterman should have been fired, and the only reasons that he hasn’t been fired were “the media’s love of David Letterman and the media’s distrust and, I believe, hatred of Sarah Palin.”
He also called Letterman’s apology — issued on Monday’s program and accepted by Palin — bogus and said that the comedian should make a charitable donation to an organization of Palin’s choosing.
Ziegler made a film about the 2008 presidential campaign called “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted.”
The fire letterman campaign (and firedavidletterman.com) are spearheaded by Michael Patrick Leahy. A real whackjob.
How do these people live? Do they all live in their parents’ basements?
You need to revise those statistics.
There were 15 fire david letterman protesters. The other 35 people were media covering the protest.
LOL. I think that really brings the percentages down.
And John Ziegler is saying *he* is the man behind firedavidletterman.com
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/06/16/letterman-protest-draws-more-media-than-activists/#comment-2774866
And in other news, it’s unlikely David Letterman will get fired. He might even get a bonus.
He got 700,000 more viewers than Conan on Monday night. In the end, it *is* all about the ratings.
http://mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/06/16/as-furor-over-palin-joke-rages-letterman-rises-in-the-ratings/
“Mr. Letterman planned a special Top 10 list: “Top Ten Things Overheard at the Fire David Letterman Rally.””
I am so taping David Letterman tonight.
(and Palin is going to be soooooo sorry.)
Huff Post has an article on DL his ratings have gone up..Take that Scarah!! His top 10 list tonite is things overheard at the “fire” DL rally…This is soooo good for Dave…If anything she did him a BIG favor…This time it backfired on her..
I posted this over on Shannyn’s blog too. Not withstanding the poor turn out at todays even, more are scheduled in various cities.
They aren’t giving up.
If you check out some of the conservative blogs, they are all over this right now. They have lost too many battles and see this as something they can actually accomplish. Cynthia Yockey is leading the revolt, trying to get the word out to every conservative who supports Palin. Get Letterman Fired.
The plan is to write letters for the next 30 days to CBS and all the advertisers they have listed for Letterman. As outlined by Sebastian Gray at HillBuzz.
Sebastian says it will take 30 days of daily letter-writing to CBS and Letterman’s advertisers. That’s because for the first two or three weeks, they’ll just wait for the tempest to blow over. Not only do we have to keep it up, we have to make it build. This is our line in the sand. Letterman MUST BE FIRED NOW!!!
Austinite Russell Korman, owner of Russell Korman’s Fine Jewelry & Watches, decided to file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission.
They are getting this out on as many conservative blogs as they can, just about everyone I’ve checked has had something on it.
Now interesting enough, Letterman has renewed his contract recently through 2012 and his ratings are up. However, will sponsors hold out, whose bottom line is public relations and money? Shouldn’t CBS be let known that they are about to get bombarded with emails from Palin followers?
There has to be just as strong of a response by the left as there is from the right.
Lynnrockets, I had tears streaming down my face for five minutes. I LOVE your sense of humor!
You can forget the ‘ exaggerated ‘ figure of 50. CNN story on Huffpo says ‘15′ people showed up…. and 35 People from the Media.
TWICE as much Media… as protesters.
Oh, you have to read this. Link from Immoral Minority.
Pacos_gal.
They’ll never succeed.
First, they don’t have enough people.
Second, no one is going to write a letter a day for 30 days. And pay the $13.00 for postage.
Third, don’t they think people will notice the same names appearing on the letters every day?
Fourth, David Letterman is leading Conan in the ratings. On Monday by 700,000 viewers. Now to put this in perspective, David Letterman had approximately 3.7 million viewers on Monday night.
If they can get 4 million people to write letters for 30 days, maybe they’ll get Letterman fired. But those 15 protesters aren’t going to be enough.
I think they’re going to fall short.
pacos_gal…….
I was over at the HillBuzz this afternoon and following that thread.
If you think that Mansour and the nutsfornitwitz are saying some goofy stuff just follow the conversation on that thread. These people are even less sane… and not clear of mind . NOT that organized either. I am not going to post their link.
They are “”"” PLEADING”"”"for their people to send money to the Alaska Fund Trust. Read this comment. What sheeple. NO HBO..!! OMG!!!!
“Don’t forget to make a donation if you can ($5..$10…$25). Yesterday they raised almost 55,000.00 but they have 5 days left and are hoping to get to 500,000.00. So, cancel your subscription to HBO and donate it to the Gov.”
Huffingtonpost reported that 15 protesters showed up and 35 media … TWICE as many media than protesters HA HA HA … sorry couldn’t help but laugh at that.
Also, while it’s true Michael Patrick Leahy is a real whackjob & he did spearhead this … the REAL kingpen behind it was none other than John Ziegler — who is behind the FireDavidLetterman.com Web site that organized the protest.
Seriously … When Ziegler saw only 15 people showed up he got in a taxi & left … no kidding.
Well she got 3 more protesters than I thought she’d get.
You know what? I think quietly that they should be egged on to protest. An extended red state protest against a comedian? Bringing a popular late night entertainer “to his knees”? It’ll fizzle so bad. Their crowds for “Fire Dave” will just never be big, or convincing. Let em blow! and fizzle and waste their time running around. Really, they deserve their own dander.
I think a great way to meet their ongoing outrage is to lie back and give am a big fat YAWN.
A counter=protest yawn if you will.
Video of the firedavidletterman protest.
Tee hee. 15 rabid raving ranting lunatics.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
Video of protestors.
AKM….According to the latest post at Huffpo…there were only 15 protestors, so LMAO, there is no need to re-crunch those numbers. We all know it will be even funnier. The comments over there are hilarious. Just wanted to share. I’m watching the Assembly and surfing the nets at the same time. Drama and comedy……true life.
Sorry, I posted the same video, different source as mlaiuppa at #112.
#109…yeah, doesn’t look like the webathon is doing so well. They’ve collected 17% so far. Was also struck by the (paraphrased) info, that if people wanted their previous donations to count as part of the webathon to email them and they would include it in the total. While not cheating, maybe…seems a little unethical to count money that received prior to the webathon as part of the money raised by the webathon.
Since it is illegal for Palin to directly solicit funds, looks like she is having her minions doing it. Kristin Cole stated this would be good time to raise funds since SP has been in the news so much recently. But this is suppose to a grassroots effort with no input from the Sp camp…sure, right.
mlaiuppa & pearl89 ~ Great minds I guess. I laughed when I came here to post that same thing as I just added it to the discussion on the forum after reading Huffpo and seeing that video.
That video truly gives a lot of insight into what the Palin supporters are like, and I’d have to say that she should be more worried about these folks than anyone else. They are no different or even worse than what they are supposed to be protesting and it is hysterically funny that the organizer of this event good ol’ Zeigler himself tucked tail firmly betwixt back hindlegs and ran his little arse out of there when he saw how little attention there was to be had.
Great Job Palin Fans! Keep on keeping on and showing the world exactly what you and by association, Palin, is like! You are doing more for “our side” than we ever could! ROFLMAO! ;D
saw Michelle Pfeiffer’s segment on Letterman…the very last thing she said as Dave was kissing her hand was “I hope she’s watching”. hmmm, directed towards palin, maybe? I hope there’s a palin wrath surging over this…one that would ruin her permanently. One cannot think she’s above trying to control the very elite media she despises. This will be her backfire moment.
They’re trying to organize another rally in Texas on Saturday.
I guess it will become a traveling road show, Haterz-R-Us.
the “right” groups always seem to organize protests, teabagging, pickets, etc.
why don’t we? what would happen if all bloggers didn’t mention palin for one week? would that lack of interest drive her insane at all?
Lainey ~ Pro Palin bloggers will continue to mention her as well as the media so it might make us feel better but it will not do anything for Palin, and her supporters will do the same thing they are doing with Letterman, claim a victory over being able to “silence” us.
Well, if those 15 protesters are representative of the Queen’s supporters, I DON’T think we have anyting to worry about. Good golly….. pathetic , sorry, ignorant sheeple. I love the one person who talked about Willow at the BASKETBALL game! Funny! You can’t write this stuff! It truly is “Specatator Sport!”
Yes Booboo the lady with the filthy dirty glasses was a riot. I had to watch the footage of these yahoos twice. I laughed MAO. Holy cow, Palin and her followers are so dang funny.
I just left the ADN story. Apparently they blocked or banned me… I can’t post. Somebody needs to post comments all over the story and tell everyone they had ‘15′ people show up…. (they report 50-which is pathetic enough as it is)
My comment was going to be… ” May I laugh now..?”
The ADN reported 50 people. Maybe they should update THAT?
And the pic with the story says there was a Mother, daughter and son from the same family. So they were able to find an additional ‘ Dozen’ people to protest.
This is all Palin attracts………………..Good grief!
How pathetic and sad. More media than “protesters” . 15 people????.
That is the best Palin “supporters” can do?
I hope Palin is as successful with her “defense fund” as she is with protest against David Letterman.
You know, when SNL can use Palins own words and turn them into a comedy sketch, then fetch higher ratings than they have had in years…..it is obvious that Palin IS the joke.
The two best comments on the video at HuffPo:
” ….. introducing President Palin’s Cabinet”
“15 people. Wow, good job Ziegler. In New York, more than 15 people will show up to watch a dog take a dump. You and Palin really have a ton of influence, don’t you?”
ROFLMBO!!!!….the one about the dog is TRUE!!!!!!!!!
eyeonyou @ # 44 – BINGO !!
That hits the nail on the head ! She is digging her own hole and doesn’t even realize it !
I’d say her “15 minutes” are about up – she’s used up 14:30 and is almost done !
Some tell Ziegler that Palin should make a donation to a charity of her choice, one that is not for her personal benefit.
Lainey #122- Michelle Pfieffer’s comment was referring to a German woman who had told her that she had a decrepit old body. She said it in response to a comment Dave made about the scene from her new movie that they had just shown.
#121 Eye on You…Did you notice the 2 guys pretending to make out behind the lady ranting about Letterman raping people with this mouth? I didn’t at first until someone in the comment section on HuffPo pointed it out…too funny.
You know, I have some thoughts on those 15 protesters.
I don’t think all of them were Palin supporters.
I think some of them are Leno fans. They’re angry that Conan has taken over for Leno and they’re blaming David Letterman for it. Because quite a few didn’t even seem to know that Leno wasn’t on the Tonight Show opposite David Letterman any more.
They’re all still nutjobs.
@Mac
ok, that does make sense
@EyeOnYou
sadly, I know you’re correct…I’m just waiting for results and trying to figure out what will work to keep her ignorant, backwards, insane mouth shut and her out of the limelight…so this frenzy from the kool-aid drinkers, will subside. sigh
10. David who?
9. Well, it was nice of CBS to provide the catering.
8. We should have done this years ago.
7. What idiot turned Broadway into a pedestrian mall?
6. Isn’t there always a crowd demanding Letterman be fired?
5. March around the potholes, people.
4. Can we also get CBS to bring back ‘Gunsmoke’?
3. When does Cheney show up with the waterboarding gear?
2. He should apologize for that hairpiece.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now this one is funny. It goes to show what happens when you lose control of what is being done in your name.
No one shows up at the protest.
Whackos saying things about others wives and kids.
Guys making out in the background.
Opportunity for Letterman to mock you further to a now bigger audience.
Pick a subject that zeros in on one of Alaska’s biggest problems and your lack of doing anything about it.
Offer Fix news nothing to run with.
Add your own to the list.
Thank you mudpuppies for the Vitamin M today! Hilariously funny. Enlightening, also, too.
As soon as the IRS gets done with her – her 15 minutes will DEFINITELY be up !!
As far as the 15 vs. 50 people, just figure that Team Sarah, C4P, Sarahpuss herself, etc… are all going to lie times 3 about everything. I’m sure the fizzle fest of the weeklong webathon at C4P is going to end up like the Iranian elections, declared a big win without counting any numbers, whatever money they do get multiplied by three, and of course, some mysterious benefactor will swoop in at the last moment donating whatever is necessary to make the half million goal. A resoundingly fake hollow victory for Palinbots, once again! Times 3!
Our local news is all pro-Palin all the time – we never heard any of this stuff about her until she went national.
I’m not sure if they’re scared of her or just lacking the resources to perform actual journalism.
