I got the most wonderful piece of spam I think I’ve ever received. My “delete finger” was a little slow on the draw, and I’m so glad it was. I share with you now another in a hopefully long and ongoing series of “Lost in Translation” moments. Behold: You can get paid $1000 within 30 minutes of reading this spam!

Congratulations you’ve NO MORE THAN entranced your first click for becoming one of those people you condone relative to that regularly cause $100’s and sometimes $1,000’s per day on the internet and entrust up a moment ago an hour time to do so.

If you’re anything like me in front I started using this combination the estimation of regularly making $400 – $800 a light of day, in your in reserve opportunity, will give every indication like it could replace with your superiority soul forever. Assume trust to me – it does faithfully that.

Ideas and systems to how to persuade money on the Internet come up and go all the time. The Gishlane approach has been in use accustomed to on the Internet since upon 6 years. However, its origins obsolescent back to 18th century France, when the arrangement was before all proved mathematically using the advance probability theory.

I distinguish you’re excited but interest, merit with me and adhere to all of the instructions TO THE LETTER.

Sorry I am at this again. I think Ian now has 108 votes!

Hey Guys, I’ve posted about this once or twice. As you know AKM and Shannyn appear to be on their way to Pittsburgh. However, we also want to get someone else there. Ian is an 18 year old young man (and the son of our admin – Lani) who is heavily involved in politics. He would love to win one of the Netroot’s scholarships. He needs more votes though. So anyone who has already voted for AKM and Shannyn, it should be very easy to pop over to Netroots and vote for Ian. It is important that this is done this weekend and so I am going to hassle you all about this for the next two days. Here is the link.

Please go and vote for Ian!!!

“I also think Gov. Palin wouldn’t and won’t meet with us, or most any other media outlet that doesn’t express adulation over her, because she wants to preserve her “media victim” image as much as possible.

To regularly interact with editorial boards and to engage in substantive discussions with journalists and commentators who could challenge her ideas could undercut that self-made “victim” status.

And if she really is a “media victim,” shouldn’t she be lambasting the editors and journalists directly, in face-to-face meetings or in on-the-record interviews? That’s what other politicians and state leaders regularly do.”

As this is an open thread, I invite all mudpuppies to visit the KTUU website, at ktuu.com. They feature a video of grad students from UofA Fairbanks at a research station on the North Slope, performing their “farthest north” version of “Thriller” as a tribute to our late King of Pop. Dancing in mud boots and mosquito nets doesn’t slow them down a bit, and it’s fun to watch as hordes of mosquitos buzz the camera. To readers who’ve not been to Alaska, getting the “farthest north” designation is an Alaskan goal; we have the farthest-north softball leagues, contra dance group, etc.

Ted Nugent has been stumping for Republican candidates for a long time. Just one was Wayne Anthony Ross in 2002.

Pretty funny and I’m sure it’s part of Ted’s thrill – the Republicans take support from anywhere, even the antithesis of their values and philosophies. Ted is not likely to be someone they invite home to dinner.

Ted and his entourage trashed the bar and hotel rooms and pissed off the locals in Naknek, a fishing town not far from Dillingham, a very long time ago. I heard that he was banned. Old-fashioned, not welcome in town.

He points out that despite $arah’s recite whining about all those ‘ libruls ‘ the ones who have spoken out the harshest are the GOP Conservatives. The have not banded together as a group as you would have expected them to as in the past. They have broken ranks.
    (his quote)

“And so it is today: Right-wing media activists are trying to whip up righteous indignation at how nasty and unfair the liberal media are being toward Palin and her decision to step down as governor. Truth is, conservative commentators are the ones unfurling the harshest critiques.”

Say No: That was an interesting take on Palin’s future by Dr. Sabl. One thing that stood out for me was his statement that most of her problems have been related to combining her public life with her family life. I’m trying to remember all of the ethics complaints that might be related. Certainly Troopergate was, and then there was the travel funds for her family. Recently we have the per diem complaint and there was even the Arctic Cat jacket for Todd. Taking money for interviews and setting up the Fund trust don’t seem to be family related.

Maybe someone can do a more complete analysis of this.

The spam is about a gambling system. Here is a word from yahoo:

“This system has been tried for centuries and it never works. In fact casinos love when people try it because it makes them more money.

It’s easy to see why it won’t work (if you can’t figure it out I would suggest a wikipedia or google search) but let’s just think about this logically.

If there was truly a 100% guaranteed way to make money through gambling, wouldn’t this information be everywhere? Wouldn’t every book, person and website on the subject tell you about it? Wouldn’t the casinos lose millions of dollars with people using this system? If you know about the system, isn’t it likely that the casino knows about the system? Isn’t it probable then that they would change the rules so that this isn’t allowed?

There is no way to beat the casinos. They didn’t build those hotels by giving away money. A little common sense goes a long way.”

Here’s an idea: Any Dem incumbent (and/or newbie) who’s in (or will be in) a tough race this upcoming election, should book NOW to have SP speak WITH him/her at events. No “got’cha” librul media in the mix – just the Dem and SP, together at the event, side-by-side.

As long as the Dem can put together 10 words in a coherent fashion -and does not go meandering pointlessly around issues and/or dropping misattributed and/or nonsensical quotes- they’ll have a lock on the election. You bet’cha!

No matter how much of a duffus the Dem is, in comparison to Word Salad Sarah, Queen-for-Life of the Realm of Zilch Intellectual Curiosity and Even Less Leadership Ability*, they’ll come off as the most brilliant person in the world and the neatest thing since sliced bread. They won’t even have to wink or bring props (i.e. a toddler and spouse) …SP will provide those.

Dems need to start calling Her Sarahness, now, to book the dates… Too, also. beth.

*The Realm’s flag is a square of white cloth. Although it very closely resembles the internationally recognized symbol of surrender, do NOT be confused by it; do NOT be tempted to think it is an “I quit” flag. SP has told us, repeatedly, she did NOT quit her position as Gov! Gee, what a gal.

In the battle of Sarah Palin vs. Shannyn Moore, there is at least one winner: the lowly weblog.

Although much has been made in recent years of the power of the Internet to change politics – the netroots, the unlikely rise of Howard Dean’s web-fueled candidacy, the multimedia machine that helped send Barack Obama to the White House – it’s rare to see one personal blog play such a major role in American politics.

Well, welcome to Alaska, where the bloggers have clout, the Twitter feeds run free, and one very angry “Mama Grizzly” has aimed her ire in the general direction of the World Wide Web.

Blogging is not a new art form! And it has always been one that held the privileged to scorn and honesty. Regarding one of the most famous bloggers of history, Jonathan Swift:

Drapier’s Letters was a series of pamphlets (blogs, whatever) which revealed that the monopoly granted to provide the Irish with copper coinage would, by the producer’s flawed mathmatics, be profitable only by outright fraud; the coinage provided would very quickly be debased. William Wood was a metals manufacturer who attempted advancement through political gamesmanship.

Swift’s writing was so effective in undermining opinion in the project that a reward was offered by the government to anyone disclosing the true identity of the author. Though his identity was hardly a secret — there were banners and applauding pub rats — no one turned Swift in. The government eventually hired Sir Isaac Newton to certify the soundness of the initial coinage.

The coinage was rejected by Irish citizens. Having paid £10,000 for the patent, Wood was later recompensed by the government for his business failure with a pension of £3000 a year for eight years. Or as it is known now, with a *bonus*.

Swift recalled the thwarting of a planned ruination of the Irish economy as one of his best achievements.

And so should every blogger that holds a government’s or a corrupt businessman’s practices to the light for all to see!

    Ain’t history fun?
