Consider me a fan and fellow.

There's always a tendency to burn out near the end. But we haven't crossed the finish line yet. She's still governor until Parnell is sworn in. After that, you can dismiss Sarah.

But then....you'll need to be vigilant of Parnell.

The fight doesn't end. But when there are many, some can take the occasional break while others step in.

I too, also, agree with Lovemydogs and have palin burnout. But if we all get burnout on corrupt politics, they win. I am so grateful for you all 'hounddogging' these issues and bringing to light what is really going on. This is how we keep 'em honest! I am only afraid that there is a lot of work to do and hope there is enough rabid mudpuppies around the country to get it done!

I hadn't seen either of those articles before, nor had I seen any others linking Hillary to a religion of that nature. Thanks for those links. I've ScrapBooked* them and will look more at that later in the week.

Some more information on Sarah’s new friend the Lithuanian Defense Minister, Rasa Juneviciene:

http://www.baltic-course.com/eng/baltic_news/?doc=3367

The U.S. National Prayer Breakfast is sponsored by ‘The Family’, the same group that operates C - Street. Although RM has reported on it’s influence regarding American politics, it is a global movement that has tentacles in many governments, including Lithuania.

Lithuania is a firmly Catholic country. The X-ians will take over Russia before they take over Lithuania. ;)

McCain is a maverick no more if he ever was.I Read stories that said he lied about his torture and he gave information to get better conditions and food, ect. Just something I found on the Internet when checking candidates out during the primaries ,Sure looks like he has been told to follow the party line or he would not be supported. After reading the article about him giving info for better treatment I would never never vote for the man,He admits himself he gave info to the enemy just said it was for different reasons,
As for Palin remember Gault ,Gretas husband he was supposedly a democrat and advised Palin and just maybe he told her to go this way and his church=cult would help her

@PhotonFlower: thanks for mentioning Jeff Sharlet. He did infiltrate the Family house. I first read an article he did in Harper's Magazine about it (it is online, but you have to be a subscriber). He has recently published a book about the Family"

should be awesome!

To Closet Mudpup @ #108 / BuffaloGal @ #113 / TBNTJudy @ #116

Regarding “The Family,” have you seen these articles about Hillary Clinton’s involvement with the group? I haven't read all the comments yet so apologies if this has already been covered.

One is a 2008 piece by Barbara Ehrenreich in The Nation; the other is a 2007 Mother Jones article co-written by Jeff Sharlet, who joined The Family’s home for young men in 2002 and wrote about it.

While I was never a Clinton fan (though I was not a hater, either—then or now), I was shocked when I read these pieces during the presidential primary last year.

It’s puzzling to me that this quasi-religious organization, not to mention the Clinton affiliation, never got more national attention. Perhaps there will be more discussion now about this “Family” group? I hope so.

While I’m by no means against religion per se, I really really value the separation of church and state.
