I sure hope those in Alaska are and will call for a complete state audit of the books, including all personel under Palins friends umbrella. Did Todd collect a paycheck while being her official, unofficial shadow government while doing her bidding for her on state time and dime?

Complete audit needs to be done.

Palin served as ethics officer – she knows the ethics rules.

“Oil and Gas Conservation Commissioner Palin, who also served as the Commission’s ethics officer, had no ethical problem with Randy Ruedrich serving as a Commissioner. But then she suddenly had a huge, and very public, problem when the news leaked that during his workday Ruedrich had been using his office computer to conduct Alaska Republican Party business.”

“And then in a public fit of professed pique, in January 2004 she quit the Commission because, since the Attorney General’s investigation of Ruedrich’s violation of the Alaska Ethics Act was ongoing, she was precluded from publicly discussing what she knew about it. As Sarah went out of her way to tell the Anchorage Daily News, the state’s largest newspaper: “I’m forced to withhold information from Alaskans, and that goes against what I believe in as a public servant.”“

Ethics complaint against Palin dismissed

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Another ethics complaint against Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been dismissed.

Palin’s office says the state personnel board rejected the complaint — alleging Palin has been paid for media interviews — in part because it was not properly notarized.

The governor’s office says a board official also noted the panel already has determined that media interviews did not violate ethics law.

Palin representatives say the governor has not been paid for media interviews and the complainant, Raymond Alvin Ward, lacked evidence to back his contention.

The complaint is among 18 ethics grievances filed against Palin, most of which have been dismissed.

oh wow, so this is what they were talking about, I forgot the mans name the one that does all the investigative stuff on governors and said she is the most secretive. Then they went on to say that some document would be misconstrued if the public was able to view it, wow, very good, I still think you are right Ms. Mc.

Didn’t I read somewhere that the Ethics Code applies During AND After service? That would imply ending her service does not end her Ethical Duties.
Not that she has or will ever concern herself with Rules, Codes or Laws that do not fit her ideals.

I’ve been searching for either an article or a video as I recall someone, whether it was Parnell I can’t remember, saying that they were going to continue to work through the ethics complaints beyond Palin’s leaving.

I just saw on MSNBC where they said Alaskans have up to two years to file ethics complaints against $P,so she can not run from them by Quitting.
