@ the problem child: Firefox didn’t work for me either. I am using my default Safari right now with no problems and using Firefox in another window to access Mudflats. Can you try IE or another browser? Just a thought.

I like our system here in Arizona.
We can opt to be put on a permanent early ballot list and get our ballots weeks before the election. Gives me time to sort through the candidates and issues and still mail in the ballot in ample time to be counted. No lines, or hassles.

I used to live in LA and “Sig-Alerts” were a daily thing. I have the dubious distinction of having caused one in 1993. My car engine caught on fire in the middle lane of the convergence lanes of the 405 and I-5 and the 118. I called 911 and they had the fire department and a tow truck on the scene within 5 minutes. Unfortunately, it caused a HUGE back up and thus a “sig alert”. It wasn’t my fault, but just the same, I feel some shame.

One of the funniest Anchorage shows was by Mr. Whitekeys – and one year he had Miss Alaska in the filmed part of the show in a duct tape pageant dress. Alaskans in the audience laughed like hyenas – the visitors who accompanied these residents kind of wondered what was so funny?

Couldn’t get the link. But, I just wish there could be a new type of interviewing where the ads, commercials could all be heard at the beginning of a show; then, the interview start and keep on an easy flow without all the interruptions. The interruptions hurt the conversation because they have to repeat everything every 5 minutes. With so much to hear and learn, we get side-swiped every few minutes with that darn break.
It’s like that everywhere, tv talk shows……no one takes the time to dissect and elaborate on a subject. PBS right now is the only option.

If the Netroots people are smart they will ask AKM to speak at the Convention about the whole Palin Odyssey, fiasco, story or whatever you want to call it.
I’m guessing some of those people don’t know even half of the stuff $arah has done. It needs to be told so that when she ‘ TRIES ‘ to spread her crap all over the Lower 48 in the coming years the other bloggers there at the convention can tell or inform people about the REAL $arah Palin.
It is the responsibility of the other blogs to now make sure she has no voice to spread her ideology , hate and stupidity.
Lower 48 blogs need to take a stand like AKM has done.

So often, my friends/family/acquaintances from Outside ask me “What’s the deal w/ all the controversy over Sarah Palin?”. Needless to say, it’s impossible to give a short answer. And going into it in any degree of detail runs the risk of making ME sound like a fruitcake. So I usually just end up saying “she’s completely deranged. Seriously – mentally ill. And corrupt as he!!, but I can’t begin to even explain. You’ll have to read the book when it comes out to even begin to get the whole story”.
So anyway, I keep waiting for AKM to write the definitive “Book of Sarah Palin Horror Stories”. But of course, the story never seems to have an ending. Poor AKM can’t even come up for air, much less write a book, before a whole new episode of Sarah’s Crazy Train comes barrelling down the tracks. But would it be possible to compile a collection of the “Best Of Sarisodes” ? (yes, I know that’s an oxymoron). But a few, carefully compiled blog posts might be very effective in giving a newcomer a taste of the real story, without having to subject them cold-turkey to a full-on Palinoscopy. Anybody else think this would be possible?
I mentioned way up thread when brads guest before AKM was talking about voting machine fraud that brad has good info on that. ck. it out on bradsblog. you might have to dig a bit……it is worth it……….quite frankly , he has some alarming info……that one shyster visited Ak. 17 times…….shanynn blogged about it way back ….visit brad……..he clearly has said he is an ally.

Yes I know exactly how you feel. for some one that does not know the whole palin story it can not be short. My mom (83years old) I have been telling her about it over time so she gets it. She says in california she just gets the little 20 or 30 seconds bits so most of the time she misses it. BUT other people I start out and I see people looking at each other and the eye rolling and I just say sorry never mind.
Nite says I at 5.30 in the morning. Hubby will kill me.

Wow! hearing AKM on my very own radio station was just surreal. I was on my way to pick up my daughter and her friend up from a play rehearsal and all or a sudden there is our very own AKM talking on the radio. I nearly drove the car off the road.
