Honoring those "troops" either deployed from Alaska or stationed in Alaska. No mention AT ALL of the troops from the "lower 48" (a damn bunch more folks than volunteered from Alaska - just statistics, folks) as if they don't even matter. News flash, Mrs. Palin: the term "lower 48" only applies geographically. It doesn't mean that everyone who inhabits those states is somehow less worthy than you. Not that it surprises me. I honor all our troops - but it seems to me that Mrs. Palin only wants to acknowledge those who are from or who are stationed in her state. How petty.
