New York City Mudstock Meetup!

NYC Mudstock is fast approaching!
If you are anywhere in the New York Metro area, take this opportunity to meet your fellow Mudflatters from far and wide!
Date: Saturday, August 1 (This Saturday!!)
Place: The Frying Pan (a boat) at Pier 66 and the Westside Highway, NYC
Time: 3:00pm
I believe this will be the 8th Mudstock Meetup, and I always get great pictures and reports back. This is a fun way to connect up with a bunch of like-minded souls for great conversation and fun!
Local Big Apple Mudpups will be in attendance, as well as those from the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) and from as far away as Ireland! You won’t want to miss this opportunity. Mudstocks are fairly organic events that tend to pop up spontaneously like mushrooms. There’s no particular schedule for when or where they happen, so if you’re in range, go for it and join your fellow travelers for an evening of merriment! Who knows when it may happen again.

I won’t be there…
Saturday, I turn 46 and will be here in Detroit celebrating in some fashion I haven’t been made aware of yet.
I don’t even know how to dress or if I’ll be home in time to live blog Shanny’s show!

I hereby promise to have a drink for every one of you that can’t make it Saturday to NYC… Of course, someone will be pouring me offa my barstool at the end of the night, but who cares? It’s New York, for goodness sake! NObody will even notice!!!

I volunteer myself to assist Ripley in her endeavour! Almost sure i’ll be there, i’ve made excuses to the family that i must leave their party early, we’ll see how it goes. I’m really looking forward to this!

GREAT IDEA!!!!! Call in from Mudstock!!!! Everyone who can, program the # into your cell phones NOW. Test it to make sure it works. That way, no matter what, you guys will have a connection. Call early! Call Often!
Suggestion: Let Irish Girl call since she is a guest in the U.S.
