The way TX Gov Perry was flaring his nostrils, breathing heavily and gobbling her up with his eyeballs when she was on stage with him practically knocked me over. But did she not think about how this is going to read in those elegant California drawing rooms? What an idiot. The classy thing to have done would have been to issue a quiet, non-pugnacious statement saying that Sarah had to cancel without giving a reason (rather than blaming the hosts). It's possible the Rerun Women disinvited her after she quit and this snarky release was Sarah's schoolgirl-style revenge. But I doubt it, given she's repeatedly done this on both a large scale and with little things, like the Juneau 4th of July parade. Something really, really strange is going on with this lady.
