I've had it on my to-read list for more than a month now. I did see Max note in his Firedoglake chat that he hasn't been on Rachel Maddow's show as often as he would like. I do think Rachel tends to keep a very diverse guest list, more so than Keith. The reason Max probably isn't on is that Rachel has Frank Schaeffer on to talk about the issues Max would probably talk about. Frank is a bit more of a direct source on the fundamentalist Christians/Christian Dominionists than Max. Definitely looking forward to Max’s book. I’ve had it on my to-read list for more than a month now.

I was out in the bush all summer but heard a review on NPR about this forthcoming book. Got to town a week ago Tuesday and went to B&N on Thursday, sure enough they had it. Can't hardly find time to put it down. Spot on. He certainly did his research. Sure, there are some minor errors, but have you ever tried to write something this comprehensive without a mistake or two? Great job. Long overdue.
