And Then There Were Eight…
I just got a Facebook message from (now former) gubernatorial candidate Rob Rosenfeld.
Dear Friends:
I am writing to inform you of my recent decision, regarding the run for the Democratic nominaion for the position of Governor of the State of Alaska.
A great deal has changed since I announced in January. Sarah Palin has stepped down from office and will not be running for re-election. Eight candidates are currently running for the Governor position. I am very pleased that two very strong individuals are running within the Democratic Party and I will be announcing my support for one of them in the future. I will volunteer to assist in getting a very strong candidate elected.
I want to thank all of you for your encouragement, donations and volunteer efforts. I am very humbled by the confidence you have placed in me. I will continue to influence the dialogue and will remain very involved in politics and look forward to advance your issues.
Best wishes to all. Sincerely Rob
Rob Rosenfeld

Well, someone has the integrity to move aside and lessen the infighting we’re bound to see in the Primary… I wish some others would wake up and smell the coffee too.
I spend a lot of time trying to keep up with politics, but I have to admit that I have never heard of Rob Rosenfeld or knew that he was an announced candidate for Governor of Alaska.
We still have three great candidates in Hollis French, Ethan Berkowitz, and Bob Poe. I like them all, and will have to start spending time finding out what separates them from each other. Thanks AKM for taking on compiling questions for them. I’ll have to ponder that a bit and forward some questions to you.
sooo… who’s the guy he does not think is a “very strong” candidate?
Thanks Rob!
Hoping you stay active in public activities.
We sure enjoyed you answering questions we had for you at anonymous bloggers…
Looking forward to crossing paths again
best wishes!
