He was discussing the history of the Appalachian Trial. How a female went to the Trail to commit suicide but because of the people see met she decided against it.
He is discussing Obama’s Nobel Prize. He’s isn’t a believer in the giving of the Nobel Prize to anyone, not Obama in particular.
Discussing how Tea-parties are fighting with each other. He is the True Tea party…Astroturf
George, a guest, says that the Nobel Prize has been blown out of proportion. He thinks it is to encourage.

George says the Nobel and Nobel Peace Prize are different. He doesn’t think that Obama is in the same lead as with MLK. He is still young.

Steve and George were talking about the right wanting the war in Afganistan. But they are always attacking him.
Steve thinks there need to be civility. Especially, those attacking Obama because of his Nobel award.

Claw, thanks so much for live blogging this. Every time I try to connect, I lose internet connection to my ‘puter. (It’s ATT U-verse. They’re getting a call come Monday!)
I’m SO annoyed re: ‘Obama hasn’t done anything to deserve the NPP!’ stupidity. One of Nobel’s aims in this was to encourage positive growth; his prize intended to both reward AND assist (in this category’s case) the peace-building process.
Peace is FAR less profitable than war; if it wasn’t, Cheney woulda’ been awarded by now!

He says that there are still fire towers on top of the mountains but they don’t need them

Robert likes his finger and was an Eagle Scout and his sons are, also. So he have not tried to build a bomb shelter
