Levi, IS writing that book.

Forget Bailey, he can only incriminate himself if he speaks the truth, so don't count on anything from him.

All anyone can do is write what they see in their own blogs, and hope a few people see the light.

He followers are definatly cult material. No question in my mind.

The stupider a person, the more rigid their beliefs. I'm thinking of a very dumb girl (actually a touch brain damaged ) calling her intelligent father stupid, and not much of sense came out of her mouth. You had to grit your teeth to be around her. But her father was protective, and never said a word.

Is Palin a touch brain damaged? That word salad thing. She often doesn't make sense, as Levi mentioned in the Vanity Fair article.

That's what I feel about Palinites. That they are a touch brain damaged.

((((Hugs))) to Martha with the yard signs - older mudpuppy here, it has been awhile. Got to agree with other comments here that Frank won't say much to expose anything new due to the fact that many of Palin's inner followers really haven't come out from under their collective rocks. Seems they stick with her regardless of the crap she spues - I'm sure it is because of her cult status or because she hasn't been thrown in jail yet. She will always be "the victum, everyone is out to get me, and I'm fighting for you guys on Main Street" persona. It's never her fault and as long as they believe her she will have the mindless, blind, nonthinking following that will follow her to heLL and back. The truth will knock her off her soap box and maybe, just maybe she'll get the justice that she is due for but it has been very hard to get the truth out and on the front pages, have justice previal honestly for once. Think Ted Stevens. For someone who brings out the worst in people it is a dam same that she still get the attention that she does. What's that saying? What would Jesus do? Man I wish the guy would give Palin one big major smack down, kick in the a$$.

So much catching up to do! Hi puppies!!! Old and new... I would also think that Bailey has sought legal counsel prior to announcing he has written a book, but then again, this is former GINO country so who knows? There does seem to be a bit of a fire storm on the tubes and where IS Meg????

Claw Washout@100: Agreed. There must be some 'protection' in the deal for him somewhere. And I too can't imagine him doing this without good legal advice (but then, I couldn't imagine SP would set up the AFT without good legal advice ...).

Andree, what's the worst that could happen if someone is found guilty of violating the AK Executive Branch Ethics Act? So far the punishments (IF applied) don't seem to be too severe. Absolutely he should worry more, I'd say, about the perjury thing.

My guess, then, is that nothing he says in the book will directly contradict anything he told the investigators, but may be additional information about stuff they never asked, or maybe ... the book will criticize one or both of the investigations themselves. Maybe what he's going to 'out' is the influence the RNC had over this whole investigation. Who was that guy that turned up there? Last name started with an M, I think? Apparently coined the term 'tasergate'? Must go re-google.

Bailey may not skewer Sarah, but I doubt he will paint her in a rosy peaches n cream light. I expect we will see e-mails, and I suspect they will not be favorable to her not because of her content, but because of her (I'm guessing) lack of tact, decorum, intelligence, leadership skills, proper spelling, and inclusion of inappropriate if not downright mean comments. In a word, her complete unprofessionalism and therefore her unsuitability to hold any office, much less the highest office in a state government, will be on display for anyone in the world to see - and I hope they do.

Anyway, all that is pure speculation, but if it was me, there would be a tipping point - If I was holding on to information that I felt could make me a quick buck, I wouldn't necessarily want to do so if it meant complicating my life legally/monetarily (perhaps his rationale while he was working for SP). But if I thought the information was not just valuable but truly important, could make a difference for people to know, I would be willing to take more of a risk. Y'know, be a little "renegade-y".

@97 Ghostbuster TX - It certainly does look odd to not be able to find specific and validated info on Joy Morgan. I decided to look into it also, too. Nothing at Amazon.com.

Library of Congress has a few listings, but whether this is she or not, I couldn't say as they all carry an additional name.

There are numerous entries for a Joy E. Morgan, but she lived back in the late 1800s and early 1900s, so it certainly isn't the same person.

It is obviously a common name as there are well over a dozen on LinkedIn alone.

Would be interesting to see how legit this person and her company really are!

@Watching from New Jersey,
I tend to agree with you. The more time goes by the more I'm convinced that Sarah is a cult leader.

@96 Andree McLeod: On second thought, Sarah Palin (to me) seems more of a cult leader than an actual politican or celebrity. Her followers worship her and the majority of us hate her with equal passion. There's not too many who are indifferent to her.

Bailey is going to protect himself. I'm sure he received alot of legal advice prior to writing the book. He would have to show its worth before I purchase it.
