24 11 2009This is my brain on Rogue. Any questions?
I have finished Chapter 5 of Going Rogue, also known as The Thumpin’. I feel like my entire central nervous system has had a thumpin’. And the digestive system too. Also. I cannot bring myself to proofread my post tonight, so it will go up tomorrow morning.
For those of you kind souls who have been commenting and emailing notes of support and concern, I believe that if I have survived the hideous caustic poison confabulation that is Chapter Five, I can probably survive anything. So, consider me out of the woods. After this, it’s teeny Chapter six, the Epilogue and the Acknowledgements. And then I’m free! Free I tell you!

matti: good point about the talk show!
A good interviewer becomes invisible, showcases the guest.
She couldn’t do that!
although, Hannity has guests on and HE talks anyway, so she has a model

Oh happiness, that McCain brought Palin to my attention.
It meant that I found you. You are a part of my daily reading. Must go to a Mudflat Meetup some day.

AKM, I feel for you. I am having kinda of drained watching and listening to Palin’s blind cluless followers, with their books in ther hands waiting for the queen.
What happened to this civilized world? Is it the churches to blame? I just hope no one from outside this country is watching the clips. Did you see the video where the follower was asked to name any policies of SP, that makes him feel connected to Sarah Palin? More than one follower said they have no idea. DEAD FISH just following the flow. Are these people high school drop outs or what? The fact that they are that many, scares and makes me sad.
My head is spining for one reason? I am dissapointed to see how may ignorant and uninformed people in this civilized nation with books and search button just on their nose. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

For a break from the insanity, here is a video that I enjoyed when I found it.
It’s been called “The Pink Glove Dance”

Many DS persons have autistic spectrum disorders. As the parent of an autistic son, I can assure you this lack of routine, constant changes, noise, new people, passed and touched by anyone would freak him the heII out. That baby should be taken away. The mother should be put away. She’s sick.

Matt Taibbi has a great piece today:
“Yes, Sarah, There is a Media Conspiracy”
http://trueslant.com/matttaibbi/2009/11/23/yes-sarah-there-is-a-media-conspiracy/
He pretty much explains how she managed to throw her ownself under the press bus.

Yes, one question. How have you gotten through reading this —-? I am way behind, but still reading your summary & interpretations. I certainly wouldn’t be able to get through the book myself! I did, however get the “real SP book” that IS worth the read, in the mail just yesterday, so “color me rouge,” I’m reading that one.

She says “worshipfull loyalty” about Obama? That’s what she demands and expects from her fans and friends.

You are truly a courageous woman to have braved the pitiful prose contained within the covers of that boo…
boooo…

Sorry, but I just have too much respect for the beauty and art of the written word to call that piece if drivel a b**k. I am sending you vast quantities of virtual chocolate to aid in your recovery.

I watched the entire Greta interview. XGINO’s response to Greta’s question about the poor: What I learned was that the poor, mostly black unemployed, devastated populace of Detroit (the poorest of the poor) have the same opportunity to flourish as others because of private enterprise? Everyone, no matter where the location have opportunity if only taxes would be cut….maybe I misheard?
I did get to hear Ms. Palin actually say ‘President Obama.’ All is not lost!
