Talk about “frivolous” charges! The moose incident is exemplary. Monegan points out to Todd and others that while Wooten may have violated the letter of the law by shooting the moose with his wife, permit in hand, beside him, handing him the gun, and his father-in-law along for the kill and dressing, the spirit of the law was not violated. If he charged Wooten, he’d also have to charge the sister and father. Palin was busy peppering “official” e-mail with complaints about Monegan being uncooperative, not listening, and going over her head about budget and policy. Not only were the allegations made by Palin family and friends, they also served as sole witnesses to the occasions, and most were made long after the incidents occurred, accelerated when Palin became governor.

Reading the report provided me with personal insight into the manipulative and retributive Palin modus operendi. In summary: mean girl.
