Palin QUITS her “tour bus”, but at least she hasn’t QUIT lying……………..

Sarah Palin lied on twitter about the book tour!

Sarah Palin has just published a “book of lies” and a growing number of people she portrayed in the book now challenge her version of events. Even before the publication of Sarah’s book, her lies were already well documented.

But now we have a novelty: For the first time ever, Sarah Palin has been caught lying on twitter!

From the flight log we can see that on November 23, Sarah flew from Fayetteville, which is just next to Fort Bragg, to Birmingham AL, taking off at 3:40 pm EST, arriving at 3:47 CST (the flight took one hour one and seven minutes).

In the evening of November 23, at 8:12 pm CST, Sarah took off from Birmingham, AL and arrived at 10:09 pm EST in Jacksonville, FL.

Therefore, it is proven from the records that Sarah Palin spent the night from November 23 to November 24 in or closely around Jacksonville. When she twittered at 5:52 am in the morning of November 24 that she was “on bus to Jacksonville”, she probably just got her lazy a$$ out of her comfy bed!

    Surprise …Palin quit…… .again.

    Todd has quitter syndrome too.

He quit his job on the “North Slope” …I guess her 5 million advance enabled him to do that….however………….he “quit” Sarah on Thanksgiving!!

Even with all that money Todd stayed in Alaska to………….
“fix the roof”….yeah….right…can’ t afford to hire someone….

Oh and speaking of quitting.. ………. Sarah quit making turkey dinner too……. ….too much hard work and all that fuss, she said, so the family went to….with all her $$…….. .Quiznos. …..to eat sub sandwiches for Thanksgiving dinner!!!

What a “real American” what a “patriot”. …..good thing she didn’t get VP, if making turkey dinner is too much hard work…………..Quiznos would be running the country.

Yes Palin is on a quitting role….she quit her tour bus………..she rents a private jet to haul her around……..the bus meets her at the airport…..or she is driven to the bus….then she arrives at her book signing pretending she’s been on the bus the whole time!

The ONLY thing Palin can’t seem to quit is…………lying

For those of you who can’t connect the dots, I’ll tell you what it means. It means she’s been cut loose. It means that all five of the families have given the okay to this hit job, including even the mainstream Republican leaders. You teabaggers are in the process of being marginalized by your own ostensible party leaders in exactly the same way the anti-war crowd was abandoned by the Democratic party elders in the earlier part of this decade. Was Quizos even open on Thanksgiving? I couldn’t really tell by a google search. Some were closed in the US, but none of the tri-cities Quizno stores gave holiday hours (that I could find.) Maybe it was just a throw-away line…just trying to be one of the “regular folks.”

I also, too, hope she paid her own entry fee to the Turkey Trot. And a large donation would also be nice and could maybe be considered “tithing” since I don’t think she’s been doing that much lately.

And while I am in the b-itchy mode, she sure seems to get a lot of cred being a hunter, hockey mom and Christian. Is there a shelf life on that? When was the last time she went hunting, did anything involving hockey (not including taking Piper out on the ice to get booed with her) or go to a church and worship with a community of believers?

And I know one doesn’t have to go to a church to be a Christian, but I think Christians are supposed to hold each other accountable, and she seems to be avoiding that aspect. Plus, no communion? (This last part may be a bigger deal in Catholic churches, and that is the only experience I have.)

This all got to me since that Quizos on Thanksgiving and book signing on Sunday stuff. It just doesn’t sound very “God and Family” to me, but then I am in no way her audience.

(Such a nice compliment to myself!)

Thanks for the great Sunday morning graphic.

The New York Times magazine has a terrific article about Joe Biden this week. I have always like Joe, but my estimation of him has shot up about a thousand per cent after reading it. Say what you will about him being “wordy”, he has knowledge and experience, and, more importantly, skill in dealing with people.

As I read it, I kept thinking of how on earth Sarah Palin, with her non-existent foreign policy experience would be dealing with Iraq and Afghanistan as Joe Biden is doing and has done. My God, there is no possible way she could do the job! AND, even more telling, she is pathologically unable to delegate to people with the ability and knowledge to handle weighty matters. Ms. Palin seriously lacks gravitas. (Note to Sarah Palin: running a government is not the same as running a household or having a kaffee klatsch with the neighbors; heads of state are not unruly teenagers, and you are NOT as cute and cool as you think you are.)

Well folks, she’s “unleashed” at last and we can certainly see why the McCain campaign was terrified to let her speak without a script and to have press conferences with any serious news anchors or journalists after the disastrous Katie Couric interview. Good grief, she is hopelessly inarticulate. I see that even her most ardent FauxNews supporters glaze over when they finally meet her and hear her speak (or dis-articulate as I like to call it).

It’s twisted and sick, but that’s our Scarah. I’ve also started to think that maybe this story about her being a runner is another fantasy. That picture of her from the runners magazine is too bizarre. I can’t remember where, but I read a good article about her being “religious p0rn”. And how about the “it’s too hard to cook a turkey” story??? From Miss Real America herself…it’s too hard to shove a bird in the oven? Working women all over the country were baking pies, stuffing birds AND taking care of their families while Quittypants was being flown around in a private jet. She’s lucky breathing is automatic or she’d claim that was “too hard”, too. What a flaming hypocrite.Yeah, that’s the real America right there, having a Quizno’s for Thanksgiving. And it seems to me that she and Todd are already split; he’s home with the three older kids and she took the two younger ones. If you see pictures of Piper lately, she does not look happy. I think a very small Chihuahua or toy poodle or Yorkie is a better candidate for the position. Now, those are some hyper over-bred YAPPY dogs, and more people are bitten by poodles than pit bulls. Standard poodles are lovely mild-tempered dogs. No offense to Chihuahuas, toy poodles or Yorkies intended.

Unlike Sarah Palin, Joe Biden IS a real middle-class American success story. He worked hard for everything he has achieved, and, when he tells stories about his family and upbringing, he doesn’t do it in a way that is divisive or exclusive. Joe Biden is the real deal unlike Sarah Palin who is a mannequin.

Many many apologies to Chiquita. If I misspoke, it is only out of my experience with other little doggies which I have found to be yippy and yappy. I will concede that even Pugs can be yippy and yappy under the right set of circumstances.

DH and I adopted a three-year-old calico Maine coon cat yesterday to add to our family of one dog and two cats. She and her “sister” were on their way to the shelter because her owner is moving and could not take her. My dear friend adopted the other cat. As we were leaving, the lady and I hugged and cried over the sad necessity of doing this. There are so many stories like mine these days because of hard times. 24 Lilady. I am surprised at the Pug in the graphic. I think the dog pix is referring to Beck’s comment about her being yappy and belonging in the kitchen. Get the popcorn ready for the next round. Ding, ding, ding!

I agree that Pugs are just to nice a breed to be part of the S’error brand. I guess that the Art Department may not be too familiar with various toy breeds. Also too the patriotic dog bikini may have influenced the selection.

My choice would be a Boston named “Terror” who comes to our dog park. He has a bad owner who allows and encourages the yappy and aggressive behavior that this breed is known to have. The owner has encouraged the bad behavior amongst his pack of Bostons. I have had to leave on a few occasions because the Bostons would not leave my Aussie alone and she was getting very annoyed. The bad owner just thought it was “funny”. One of the other dogs in this pack is named “Sassy” and the owner does everything possible to get her to live up to her name, too. I might suggest to the owner that the next one added to this pack be called “TeaBag”.

So if any of you have Boston’s please take no offense, as I am sure your dog is well socialized and a joy to be around.

She seems to know that I’ll feed her and take care of them, though at the first opportunity, she’ll scratch my eyes out. For the last 4 years, I’ve taken her kittens away from her at around 4.5 weeks, before they get crazy like her and I can’t catch them without donating a gallon of blood in the process.

My newest batch is amazingly adaptable. And adorable. I keep them in their own room replete with toys, a climbing platform, food, water, litter…all the accoutrements to create well-adjusted, adoptable kittens. I sit with them every day, sometimes for hours at a time, to help them trust…canned food helps! Once they climb on my lap and purr, I know I’ve won. Sometimes that takes 3-4 weeks!!! They can be very stubborn.

I have only kept 2 of the 9 I have saved from the same fate as their mother and her relations out there. I have placed one from this current litter, with two remaining. Anyone want a kitten? :D

{ Would you be willing to do a Guest post story about them… I think AKM would love to see it as well} Buf was also ‘ rescued ‘.

I think we would all like to know a little bit more about them and their personalities and how they are unique. We all love the animal stories and need a break from S’error from time to time.
Please consider running the idea past AKM.

Do you have a Trap and Release program near you?

Our neighbor lady was feeding two stray mama cats and their endless litters of kittens. Our local TnR program came out and placed the traps. Took the mamas to be spayed and returned to the neighborhood. Took the babies to be adopted. If the cats are taken from the neighborhood, others come in their place. If the original cats are returned, balance is maintained. It’s a sad, short and often tragic life for feral cats, but they don’t adapt too well to indoor life. That’s not to say they can’t, but it is the exception rather than the rule. I feel that we should do what we can to make their lives a bit easier if possible. My heart breaks for every stray critter in the world – animal and human alike.

TRUE BUT EERILY SIMILAR to the phrasing in a story written by Anchorage Daily News reporter Tom Kizzia in October 2008. “Her father was a Dutchman, Glass Eye Billy Bartman, a sled dog freighter in the Bristol Bay region and caretaker of the Alaska Packers saltry on the Igushik River,” Kizzia wrote. “Her mother was full-blooded Yup’ik, growing up in a sod-roofed barabara in the now-abandoned village of Tuklung…” Kizzia also reported that Lena returned to Dillingham from her home in Homer “to help campaign in 2006, speaking with Yup’ik elders who didn’t follow politics. Kizzia wrote: “I said, ‘You know Todd?’ All the Natives know Todd. I said, ‘His wife is running for Boss Alaska.’” “Going Rogue” notes: “Lena went around Dillingham talking with the Yupik elders. ‘Do you know my grandson Todd?’ she would ask. I thought the writer brought up some very valid points – her book lacks insight into the person: of MsQuitter the former 1/2 Term Governor or AK.
Shallow, good vs bad (if it hasn’t harmed her or theirs- it’s good, if it has – then it’s bad), policy – using other ppl’s thoughts & ideas to justify her own position, without stating why she believes that way. Loaded with charisma and charm – but critical thinking is not an asset she possesses,

Obviously she has idea’s of what should be done, (don’t we all) but doesn’t have the basis to resolve the problem. Throw the baby out with the bathwater.

    1) Palin was found guilty of misusing state per diems and she was required to pay back the state thousands of dollars.

    2) Palin was found guilty of misusing state money for travel expenses for her family and was required to reimburse the state thousands of dollars. (Not addressed but even more troubling is the fact that she went back and amended expense accounts to make it look like she was in compliance.)

    3) Misuse of her state vehicle. She elected to give the vehicle up rather than pay reimbursements.

    4) “Troopergate”… where she was found guilty of abuse of power and ethics charges by a bipartisan Senate investigation (10 Republicans/4 Democrats) led by Mr. Branchflower.

    5) Her Alaska Fund Trust was found NOT to be in compliance with the law. Dissolution of the fund was recommended to stay in compliance with the law….(or quit so she could quietly retain the money?)

    6) Several ethics complaints are still ONGOING and have not been dismissed, including the questions surrounding the sponsorship fees and gain from “Arctic Cat;” and her private emails.

President Obama never pretended to be a spiritual leader being called by God…to push through that door that God opened. But, Palin has. In addition, it’s the Christians who are blindly following her. Here is a good list of the complaints.

    8. Oct. 24, 2008 / She did have to pay the state $10,000 for questionable travel.

    18. April 27: / Alaska Fund Trust. This was not dismissed, AKM has the archive. This is why a lot of people think she quit – so she could keep the AFT money.

This is not a complete list, and rumor in Juneau is that they had complaints filed after she left office . There were around three or more known filed between the dates of the above article and her quitty date.

Due to the convoluted and bizarre Personnel Board guidelines. the public does not necessarily get any information except in rare circumstances. The Board has not followed their own guidelines properly anyway – they have fudged, lied and struck out at everyone else (just like Palin).

So you can say that at least TWO were not dismissed, make it three with the Branchflower report. There are others, there will be others, but we may never know the outcome for reasons stated above.

BTW – the rumor of more complaints came from a connection in a Commissioner’s Office and I trust the info 100 percent. It’s probably general knowledge in the upper admin state offices. Juneau is small.

So true! Because of the secrecy involved with the Personnel Board, some of Palin’s “dismissed” ethics complaints may have been settled without the public knowing. As far as I’m concerned, “settling” and “dismissing” have two different meanings, ethically speaking.

The hotel does not depend on locals for business, but I can’t help but think they would not want to be associated with a group that calls for revolution and has been shown to use offensive tactics. I can’t figure out why they would risk being linked with some of the scenes we saw from the rally on Washington. I want them to be aware of the controversial nature of this group.

Some of the progressive communities/groups here have been circulating emails to get ideas about how to respond. I seem to be the only one who has expressed the desire to call out the Opryland Hotel & Convention Center for hosting this event. I thought I would ask some of you if you thought it was fair to contact the venue to let them know why people are unhappy about their hosting this event.

There is talk about a protest during the event. If there is a protest, I will be there. Others are suggesting our own event several days later for the purpose of attracting media attention to another view of the issues. Some are opposed to giving Palin any additional media attention.
