Despite our political differences, two of those girls in the photo are college classmates of mine. There is no shame in dressing up for a political social function and having a photo taken with the mayor. Despite your lack of a caption your insinuation is clear, and strikes me as tactless. My vet was incredibly kind and understanding and it was a very peaceful end for her. Now she can run and fight with her brother again. My everlasting thanks to all of the mudpups who helped me through this incredibly difficult decision. Between my tears I have found some room for laughter thanks to all of you and AKM. I have a book to recommend to all of the women (and possibly the men--as it might give some insight into women) who read this site. My mother gave it to me for my birthday. It is called: "Not Becoming My Mother &other things she taught me along the way" by Ruth Reichl. Wonderful book. Perhaps I should buy a copy each for all of the Palin girls????
