Tri-State Mudstock (and Huge Apology…)
Beware putting things in a “safe place!” I learned about an exciting Mudstock event planned for the Pennsylvania/NJ/Delaware area, and made sure to tuck it away in a safe place so I wouldn’t forget to post about it.
You probably already know the rest of the story, but yes… it was so safe, it was even safe from me. So, Tri-State Mudflatters… Clear Your Calendars! Tomorrow, in SE Pennsylvania you can join your fellow Mudpups for fun, fellowship and conversation. I’ve had the pleasure of being at two Mudstock events now, and I can tell you from firsthand experience, it’s a LOT of fun.

Kennett Square is just a few minutes from Longwood Gardens, and several Mudstock participants have plans to go over to Longwood Gardens after lunch to enjoy the gorgeous flowers, fountains and fabulous Christmas light displays (500,000 lights!!).
It sounds like a wonderful time, and I am very much hoping that pictures are taken and a writeup is sent!

There is also a NC Mudstock taking place tomorrow in Durham,NC. It will be our first, but hopefully, not our last. I would like to encourage all the mudpups who are close by (or not) to drop into Satisfaction’s Restaurant tomorrow at noon.
Looking forward to meeting new puppies and raising a glass of Christmas cheer to our fellow celebrants in PA. And to AKM, Snos, and all the other adminstrators/moderators and fellow pups, no matter where you are.
I’ll be raising a glass to toast the fun for both mudstocks, and don’t forget the photos! Cheers
I know all about that “safe place” – I have many things sitting in my safe place: a turkey platter that went missing 20+ years ago, a lovely oil painting that hasn’t seen the light of day for over 10 years, and now two types of cooky cutters that I need tomorrow but they must be in the safe place also. It would be such fun to find that safe place and see what else that is missing but not even missed yet

My saying when I couldn’t find my safe place was always the devil is sitting on it.

Sauer, et all. I unfortunately will not be able to make the Tri State Stock, although I must say that Pepto Bismol has tried its best. I am sure there will be another only because I will be pushing for one next year. I wish I could join you all but it is just not possible this time. Have fun and have a drink for Delaware Bogart who is really irritated with me since he had already packed his moosecase.
To Barbara #11, please come if you can. There will be cake. What’s gas when compared to the 1st NC Mudstock. We’ll take up a collection, if need be, to get you back to Raleigh…LOL.
