Speaking of them – last August, Victoria posted an article about feeding the summer crews. It is very interesting, but more importantly, wakes one up to the reality of remote living and the logistics involved in getting in supplies. There will always be those who think everyone has bucketloads of money sitting around. Vic mentions that some had suggested people order in their whole years supply at once then there wouldn’t be food shortages in the winter months. Not everyone can afford to do such a thing.
