That was one of the saddest parts of the movie "Earth", watching the polar bear swim, in search of food, and in search of a place to rest. It all came to late, when that particular bear was too weak and could not survive. Maybe someone should send SP a DVD of that movie - it had quite a bit that was shot in Alaska and Canada, with animals she doesn't care to protect. I'm not making candy tonight, but wish I could have some of that peanut butter fudge! My mom used to make a date nut roll at Christmas that was so yummy. I'm not sure what recipe she used, but this one tastes just like hers and if you like dates.....it is heaven!
