Palin Signs Deal With Fox News, and We’re All Shocked. Shocked, We Say. (UPDATED)

It wasn’t if, but when.  You can imagine Sarah Palin as an action movie heroine on a large ship that’s about to blow up.  She’s in some kind of red leather suit…she’s running….running…… There it goes!  A huge orange roiling cloud of flame bursts from the hull, and the shock wave of the explosion propels her as she leaps off the bow of the ship to a waiting lifeboat.  Oof. The ship, of course, is the SS McCain Campaign and any shred of credibility she had left, and the lifeboat is (wait for it)  Fox News. Because credibility really isn’t all that important, is it?

Since her talent for producing copious amounts of fiction that people swallow hook, line and sinker is now manifest, where else could she go?  It’s a perfect fit.

The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called “War Stories.”

I guess God didn’t want her to be Vice President after all. He just wanted her to make gobs of money and become part of …. the media.

[I wonder if she needs help naming her new segment? Feel free to make suggestions in the comments.]

This just reported by The Anchorage Daily News:

Palin is expected to provide political commentary and analysis for a number of Fox properties, including Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, FoxNews.com and special event political programming for Fox Broadcasting. That means she’ll be on a number of shows, the network said. [snip]

She also will host periodic episodes of the cable news channel’s “Real American Stories,” a new series the network describes as “exploring inspirational real-life tales of overcoming adversity throughout the American landscape.” The series is expected to debut this year. It will be produced from New York, meaning Palin will be spending much of her time on the East Coast.

Political commentary and analysis? Guess she’s going to break out those index cards from the VP debate prep and start learning geography and history and stuff. I’m thinking the “Real American Stories” segment will be more up her alley. No right or wrong answers. And she’ll be spending much of her time on the East Coast? Interesting… Get ready New Yorkers. Your life is about to get very interesting.

Will she wear a blonde wig? Get more plastic repair work done like Greta?

Will she think of a catchy slogan like Hannity and His Youre a Great American Sean Hannity?

Will she bring Trig to the show like a ventriloquists dummy, and Piper, to keep an eye on him, and mommy?

Will she move to NYC, or jet to and fro in Murdochs private jet? Or film it in her O’Paylin Chateau?

    LibertyLoverNo Gravatar says:

Perfect. Now I suppose that she will also get a clothing allowance and a personal stylist…but remember that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover – it’s what is between the pages that count… and in Palin’s case, we know that there isn’t much between the covers of her book.

It’s a sure bet that she won’t be writing her own material for broadcast, though, that much is sure. And we already know that she is quite adept at spewing Republican Talking Points.

In hiring Palin, Fox continues it’s hold on the propaganda arm of the Republican Party.

  17. 17
    BordoNo Gravatar says:

Well, this had to happen. A network boasting such a powerful lineup of intellectual heavyweights –Beck, Hannity, the idiots of Fox and Friends, Hume– needed yet another deep thinker.

I assume she is not doing a regular program because it is too much work and requires too much knowledge. This is a nifty little side venture that will add another revenue stream to the Palin household, give her the national exposure she so desperately craves and cement the Tea Party loons to Fox ever more tightly.

Pecan Farmer @ #74 – you have a point but I think the more Americans see of her, the more they will realise just how crazy she is. This kind of exposure does not bode well for a presidential campaign in 2012 should Palin decide to run.

Same for Beck – if he were to run for public office, his show would suddenly get a lot more coverage in the mainstream, which would seal his fate. The American electorate only caught a glimpse in 2008 of Palin in the general election and decisively did NOT elect her and John McCain. Imagine how turned off the general public would be with Palin on cable and in their faces even more with her bile.

I wish she didn’t get the attention either – but – she may come to regret what she asked for. If she crashes and burns, fades into notoriety and OUT of public office for good, this country will be better off.

Of course this was signed waaaaay before this. Lawyers would need to be going over this contract with a fine-tooth comb to make sure all the ‘ details ‘ were written down. Remember all those stipulations… just to have her show up and speak..?

I saw on one News report that had quoted ” her Lawyer… Barnett ” about the deal. This is the same Lawyer that negotiated the HC book deal. They had this ‘ deal’ signed, inked and all written out as PART OF the negotiations for her writing the book. One depended on the other. It was part of the negotiations from both sides back in the summer. This is that Old contract/book deal…this is just part of that deal.

I wrote this on another post, but I’m tellin’ ya, read “Amusing Ourselves to Death” (Neil Postman). Everything, everything, everything in our lives MUST BE ENTERTAINING or we dismiss it as unimportant. As someone else said about the Roman Empire and how well Bread and Circuses worked for them, this is a scary scary development.

We here prove just how entertaining SP is. But we also have the good judgement to understand that a Twinkie is just a Twinkie. We don’t try to convince ourselves or anyone else that Twinkies are good food. We know what they do when we eat them. They rot our teeth and make us fat. As free Americans we don’t want any Nanny State telling us we cannot eat Twinkies, but we have to stand up for the truth: Eating a diet of Twinkies is going be damaging to one’s health. One can have an occasional Twinkie, but we cannot subsist on nothing but Twinkies.

Unfortunately for Sarah Palin’s new broadcasting career, bigger and more professional Twinkies already dominate the airwaves.

She is a Twinkie. A light spongecake with a creamy filling. Tasty but insubstantial and devoid of nutrients. That’s it. Nothing more.

Palin to Fox News. ‘I am Thrilled to be Joining the Great Talent and Management Team at Fox News’
By Chris Ariens on Jan 11, 2010 02:28 PM

First On…: TVNewser has the press release announcing Sarah Palin’s multi-year deal with Fox News.

“I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News. It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news,” says the former VP nominee and Alaska governor.

Says Bill Shine, FNC EVP of programming, “Governor Palin has captivated everyone on both sides of the political spectrum and we are excited to add her dynamic voice to the FOX News lineup.”

More details in the press release after the jump…

    • Earlier: Sarah Palin to Join Fox News as a Contributor

FORMER ALASKA GOV. SARAH PALIN JOINS FOX NEWS
    AS A CONTRIBUTOR

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has signed a multi-year deal with FOX News to serve as a contributor across all FOX News platforms, announced Bill Shine, Executive Vice President of Programming.

In making the announcement, Shine said, “Governor Palin has captivated everyone on both sides of the political spectrum and we are excited to add her dynamic voice to the FOX News lineup.” As a contributor, Palin will provide political commentary and analysis for FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOXNews.com, and FOX News-produced special event political programming for FOX Broadcasting.

In addition, she will host periodic episodes of FNC’s “Real American Stories,” a series exploring inspirational real-life tales of overcoming adversity throughout the American landscape that will debut in 2010.

Palin added, “I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at FOX News. It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news.”

Governor Palin is the author of the current number one New York Times bestseller, Going Rogue: An American Life. Her book tour to over 30 cities attracted thousands of people and extensive media coverage.

Palin was the first woman to serve as Governor of Alaska. She was sworn in as the 11th governor of the state in 2006 and worked on improving resource development, education, health and transportation and infrastructure development. In August 2008, then Republican Presidential Nominee Senator John McCain selected Governor Palin to run as his Vice Presidential candidate. Prior to holding the office of Governor, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla City Council in Alaska as well as two terms as the mayor and manager of Wasilla, and worked as an oil and gas industry regulator.

FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour general news service covering breaking news as well as political, entertainment and business news. For eight years, FNC has been the most-watched cable news channel in the country, presenting the top thirteen programs in cable news. Owned by News Corp., FNC is available in more than 90 million homes.

We all know (and have plenty of proof from videos) that she can’t speak in anything resembling understandable English. But hasn’t she also said that she likes to just speak, going off of her instincts (gutteral or otherwise)? And she has also said that she has a great disdain for anyone who uses a telepromter. That would mean there won’t be a ghost writer for whatever comes out of her mouth, right?

And really? How is she going to give any meaningful commentary, even to her blinded followers, about world events, when she clearly has no grasp on American or world history or even basic geography? Please tell me that people aren’t really that stupid.

Continued viewing of Palin will likely render them completely catatonic and unable to vote by the 2012 election, assuring PO of another 4 year term.

Granny Palin is an aging woman fast coming up on menopause. Her hair will thin, her skin will dry out, the pounds will creep up and stay and her middle will expand no matter how many crunches she does. Her appeal is based on her looks. She has nothing else. It can not be iterated and reiterated too often that she was McCains LAST choice – not the first, not the best, not even second-best – dead absolute last.

She does not play well with others either. She may fit into the Faux news profile, but it should not be overlooked that there are plenty of other divas there who will not take too kindly to her presence should her ratings start to threaten theirs. I’m sure the honeymoon will be just peachy for her, but she will be with others whose egos are as large or larger than hers.

I wouldn’t put the popcorn away just yet.

And, I hope she comes to NYC so we can ignore her along with the rest of celebritydom. Puh – leeze, you couldn’t walk on the street at lunch hour in midtown Mahattan without tripping over a “personality”. I worked literally across the street from Faux News. The tourists might notice her, but I doubt anyone else would give her the time of day.

And I hate to sound elite, but she can’t hold a candle to the hip, very thin, beautiful, young things that are to be found on the streets of New York.

This is great news, in my opinion. One can hardly be taken seriously as a political figure if working for fox. Seems to me that some of those who have been hailing her as the saviour of the right wing now have to re-evaluate the situation — there is no route from fox to the white house. Credible candidates do not have talk shows on fox, they may show up now & then as a guest, but do not have their own shows. She will be preaching to the choir, as always, but for more money. She will alienate some of her supporters, many independents, and expose her ignorance in primetime on a regular basis.

I see this as precluding her from politics on a national level — I refuse to believe that the US will ever have a large enough number of wingnuts to support her candidacy for anything national — and that is wonderful. And now she will be a full-blown celebrity, therefore any news item/gossip that relates to her, no matter how small, is fair game.

    Syndicating Sarah Palin

While you might assume Palin would be a better fit for conservative radio than the less partisan world of syndicated broadcast TV, my sources say the country’s biggest radio conglomerate, Clear Channel, has already passed on her.

The main objection to Palin as radio talk-show host is that she would have to hold forth for three hours a day.

While some of her recent remarks may indicate a talent for improvisation, anyone who’s listened to Rush Limbaugh or Thom Hartmann or Don Imus or Howard Stern or even Ryan Seacrest knows it’s the rare personality who can blab extemporaneously for 15 hours a week.

And relying on callers to get you through won’t help, because as we’ve all experienced, callers-in are usually more embarrassing than compelling.

Inside Radio also gleefully points out the irony of these rumors, since Palin’s disdain for the media is clear. As she admonished reporters in her departure speech: “Quit making things up.”

We CAN”T discuss like adults, what we can do to fix our problems. Right now the GOP won’t play, won’t talk. Stonewall. The media goes from shiny object to shiny object and they give voices the the loudest a-holes for ratings, and then everyone thinks that most people must feel that way or why are they on TV?

Media Matters is covering this already, here’s an excerpt………

In past months, Palin has frequently misled public on variety of issues

    “Death panel.”
In a Facebook post, Palin claimed that under Democratic health care reform, “Obama’s ‘death panel’ ” would “decide” whether her parents or her son Trig, who has Down syndrome, were “worthy of health care.” Palin’s assertion was based on the widely debunked claim that the House health care reform bill would require end-of-life counseling.

Numerous Fox News personalities subsequently advanced Palin’s false claim.

PolitiFact.com named Palin’s death panels claim its “Lie of the Year.”

During the health care debate, Palin also falsely linked the Independent Medicare Advisory Board created by the Senate health care reform bill and nonbinding mammogram guidelines to death panels.

Media Matters previously documented numerous falsehoods Palin made during the 2008 campaign as Sen. John McCain’s vice presidential candidate, including the false claim that as Alaska governor she said “thanks, but no thanks” to the bridge to nowhere and the falsehood that a New York Times article supported the assertion that Obama was “palling around” with terrorists.

Schmidt et al came out with their devastating portrait of a lying, “mentally limited,” and mentally unstable Sarah Palin last night. In response, Palin thinks she can control the news cycle by announcing her Fox deal today.

    Did it work?

I suspect not in the way that she or Fox hoped for. Now all the jokes and comments about Palin are automatically tarring and feathering Fox as well.

“Watch Fox News…..where mentally limited whackjobs shovel lies about this American Life.”

(Meanwhile….McCain is hiding out in Israel with his own attempts to control the news cycle after Schmidt showed what a dangerous campaign the GOP ran with a nutcase as VP. I notice that in all of this fuss, Sarah is not hosting her own show. She is not capable of showing up on a regular basis and doing work. She will be available to read the ghost written comments prepared for her, from time to time. As for analysis, that would require some mental skill. And, we have already heard from Steve Schmidt in that department. The level of discussion on Fox News sounds much like high school kids making fun of something without any actual knowledge of the subject. They are the constant source of jokes on Jon Stewart’s show, showing them at their worst. Sarah will be in great company.

It is too bad that Fox News continues to be the publicity arm of the far right wing of the Republican Party. They may be strengthening their base, but they turn away Independents and Moderates. The thing that is scary is the way the Glenn Beck fired up a tea-bag rally. The joke is that when Michele Bachmann tried to stage another protest, Fox News used old footage to inflate attendance figures. Fox can generate some powerful hatred, as in the case of calling for violence against an abortion doctor. We have friends who only watch Fox, and they actually sound brainwashed. Fox is both a joke and is very dangerous at the same time.

The material comes from government AND children MUST pass (supervised) government tests in a timely fashion.

If not, it is back to public or private school……..OR ……..have your children removed from your care.

We have religious schools too…..Catholic, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Evangelical etc. as well as French Immersion.

However there are core, government issued materials that MUST be taught at home and in all schools.

I totally agree with you – and with Irishgirl regarding homeschooling in America.

It is out of hand and we are turning into a country full of uneducated people who are a true embarrassment with their poor language skills, poor spelling, and poor comprehension of the world around them.

Many years ago, there was a great book “The Ugly American” that described Americans who went to other countries and compared everything to their home and found other cultures wanting. I met some of them in my travels in the late ’60s/early ’70s.

What we have now is far worse in its ego-centric stupidity. The dumbing down of America is growing stronger – and I saw this with my own children’s public school education. It is appalling!

But Palin’s total lack of concern regarding the lack of schooling of her children is criminal. Palin’s head is going explode being surrounded by people who love her and agree with her, although I bet she’ll butt heads with O’Reilly. She & Hannity will probably have an affair, he’s so enamored with her.

For the show content, most “stories, opinions & commentaries” all come from the spin doctors behind the scenes, who start a story like complaining that Obama didn’t respond to the underwear bomber threat for 72 hours. Then other hosts repeat the same statements & rhetoric until you think how the hell do they all think alike? But it’s all planned & they probably have strategy meetings constantly to come up with the next pile of crap.

The man behind the scenes is quite brilliant by doing that because after (stupid) viewers hear the lies over & over they believe they’re true (like how horrible healthcare reform is). Afterall, all Fox hosts are skilled at looking straight in the camera and saying it’s black when it’s white so Palin will fit right in.

Now all of Palin’s followers will join the brainwashing & increase ratings. And the head of Fox admitted that his goal is to make Obama fail, how scary! Also, undercover reporters heard that once they destroy ACORN their next target is the labor unions, which they’ve weaved into many stories lately.

@ Lilybart – The situation is crushingly and hopelessly depressing on Every. Single. Level. You can’t even laugh anymore it is so pathetic. Welcome to the futility culture. This is the culture where nature and its material companion, reality, increasingly punish us for our stupidity and fecklessness. This is the culture that will tear the United States apart, after it bankrupts us at every level, and mercilessly drives the population down by one-third through starvation, homelessness, violence, disease, and sheer political cruelty.

@ Irishgirl – I disagree about homeschooling and education as a prime factor in our ruination. At least at home, parents obviously care enough about their offspring to spend the day with them instead of shuffling them off to the nearest morally bankrupt indoctrination center. The public education system in America increasingly looks and operates just like a medium security prison. And is it really possible to imagine a more pointless activity than modern day high school? Sure you’ll get some religious quacks out of the homeschooling model, but at least we can have a reasonable expectation that they will demonstrate normative social behavior, have a functioning moral compass and deep-rooted sense of ethics when they leave the nest. These are valuable traits, considering the sordid condition of public system graduates. The whole education system really needs re-tooled. It is based on a 1911 factory floor model whose primary lesson is teaching children to get used to sitting in one place and taking orders for the better part of a day.

I think it really comes down to our culture as a whole. As Chris Hedges puts it, EVERY American, regardless of their political identity now perpetually dwells in an ‘Empire of Illusion’. Sarah Palin as infotainment prop is just another shockingly grotesque manifestation of this new reality.

    And…

‘People who shut their eyes to reality simply invite their own destruction, and anyone who insists on remaining in a state of innocence long after that innocence is dead turns himself into a monster.’ – James Baldwin

That sums up the destiny of our broken record political discourse in the U.S. of A. quite nicely, I think.

Palin is used to giving orders to her handpicked “underlings”. She is used to being in controll and this will not be the case at Faux. She will go in Faux with them adoring her and she will consistently keep going all rogue and mavericky on them and her adoring friends will become her vicious foes. She will insist on doing things her way, as she did when she demanded to have pictures taken with her family on election night(after the loss) and was refused. She took her family on stage anyway and they turned the lights out on her. This shows just how huge her ego is. We have to remember that there are so many over inflated egos at Faux that they will start competing with each other. Palin will start to divide them after she goes after someone who she perceives has slighted her in some way. She will put Faux in shambles and then she will quit. So, save that popcorn!

She can continue to speak for increasing fees, “write” more books and ask for a higher salary. She’ll make more money on Fox than as a politician. I’m sure she did the numbers and figured this one out. And I’m sure Levi was right on the money when he cited that as a reason she quit; book deal and the Fox contract. She was in danger of losing them if she completed her term. So politics was just another stepping stone to more financial opportunities.

Unless it’s been scripted otherwise in which case Palin will always “win”. She will be a joke and it won’t matter. She’ll be the 700 club of Fox News. Her followers will eat it up. And if she asks them to send in money they’ll whip out their checkbooks.

She’s found her money fountain for now. But she’ll eventually get bored or find it still isn’t enough money, is too time consuming or whatever.

I think eventually she’ll buy a doctorate of divinity or be ordained in some way and she’ll start her own megachurch. That’s where the really big bucks are. Her Fox salary and the money she gets for speaking won’t be enough to satisfy her for long. She’ll want more and when she can’t get it that way, she’ll move on to something else, just like she dumped politics when it limited how much money she could make.

I doubt Alaska is getting rid of Sarah so easily, especially when she hasn’t yet even lived in her new castle.

She’ll be fed in from her studio, fly outside when convenient, and keep a fairly loose schedule based from her compound on Lake Lucille.

I doubt she will be able to pull of leadership of a megachurch, but then again, nobody ever thought she’d be so close to the White House either.

I do not think that FOX is going to be such a good thing for her. And I believe she will be devastating to FOX. I am glad she is there, and when News Corpse begins to rot from the inside out I am sure she will be the cause.

But I think Todd is going to be tested sorely and this may break his will. This is a lot bigger than sneaking a few beers in the man-cave hoping the wife’s bat-shyte crazy doesn’t rub off on him.

Granny’s new job came early enough that she did make Letterman tonight.
He made about 3 Jokes or references. He started one off by saying….

Did you hear the News that Sarah Palin is going to be working for Fox..?
Yes…. she is. I guess all those magazines and newspapers she has read finally came in handy.
    (Oouch! )
    Wait for Jon Stewart tomorrow.

CNN’s Jack Cafferty covered the SP News with a question for his blog.

Question : Do you believe Sarah Palin is dishonest?

I went half-way down the comments reading them. I don’t remember even 1 that defended her. Many did not answer directly to that question.
The responses were more like she was ‘ delusional ‘… or she believes what she is saying so is it really a Lie or dishonest, because SHE believes it..?
Those type of answers tell you most think there is something more serious going on. You can read the responses yourself.

“Thrilled, wonderful, and excited”… I think they borrowed that from the 60s Apollo Program. Houston, we are GO for launch.

Yay! She’s the female Pat Buchanan! No, this is terrific! I think we were all waiting for exactly this, right? Well, I was, anyway, also, too.
She’s going a direction that she should have in the first place. Not politics: gimmicky pseudo-intellectual entertainment. This is where her talents lie. Pun intended.
That’s what being an ESPN sportscaster is. Speaking of which, she wasn’t actually employed as a local sports anchor; she was an intern, learning the ropes, paying her dues, getting some airtime, certainly leading to a real job if she had stuck with it more than a few months.
So the next thing is regular guest cameos on the Christian Broadcast Network. I was sort of expecting that first, but “Wite-Out” Gate may have scuttled that, hmm?
This is going to be a breeze for her. They have “people” who will handle literally everything, just like the McCain campaign. She will have to do nothing but be a Talking Head. Perfect. Just like those sports guys…

Even though I would actually like her to stage a presidential campaign (oh yeah), I don’t think she truly wants to be a politician. Or president. What she wants at her core is to be admired. She simply wants to be a rockstar. She wants <fans and the trappings that go with that – the entourage, the wardrobe and stylists, being feted, recognized and photographed.

I betcha the real story that the Heaths don’t tell is that she was that little girl playing microphone with a toilet paper roll clutched in a sticky hand, playing Donny & Marie Osmond, Sonny & Cher. Lip-synching her heart out, pretending to be a singer, an actress, a stewardess.
[Me, I was pretending to be go-go dancer Goldie Hawn on Laugh-In.]

No, she won’t have to relocate. Unless she gets a real show. But I agree – it wouldn’t be a deterrent. I hope it all works out beautifully for her. Because that’s how she will get off our backs and go away.

And you all know what’s coming for little Piper, don’cha? I bet she’s already got an L.A. agent working with Bristol’s “PR” business and the Wasilla lady friends that were “managing” the book tour.
Look for Piper on Nickleodeon or a minor movie part. Mrs. Palin will be busy managing that in the near and distant future.

    Native DJ Goes Rogue
I really appreciated the way I heard this big news today. The news at the top of the hour on my favorite indigenous radio station KNBA closed with a announcement about Mrs. Palin’s Excellent Adventures.
Immediately following, the D.J. launched into his music set and got all mavericky with some interesting selections. The lyrics are key.

    ‘She’s Got Baggage’:
    She’s got baggage
She’s got so much heavy baggage
    The weight of the world
    Is on her shoulder
I wonder how she carries it around

    Wake up, it was the
    middle of the night
    Telephone ringing
so I turned on the light
    What up
She must be calling me again
    Night after night
    And it’s driving me insane

Got up, dragged myself out of bed
Nuclear explosion banging in my head
Why me, how did I get so lucky
    A million other guys
    She had to pick me

Hey Joe, say it ain’t so
    She called me up
then she put me on hold
Hey Joe, say it ain’t so
    She called me up
then she put me on hold

Watch out, we got a whacked out woman
    Huuricane warning and
    it’s blowin’ me away

    ‘No Earthly Good’:
Come heed me, my brothers, come heed, one and all
Don’t brag about standing or you’ll surely fall
You’re shining your light and shine it you should
But you’re so heavenly minded, you’re no earthly good

If you’re holding heaven, then spread it around
There’s hungry hands reaching up here from the ground
Move over and share the high ground where you stood
So heavenly minded, you’re no earthly good

The gospel ain’t gospel until it is spread
But how can you share it where you’ve got your head
There’s hand that reach out for a hand if you would
So heavenly minded, you’re no earthly good

It wasn’t an accident. Each one that followed was specifically appropriate to the Palin news.
Bob Dylan’s ‘Life is Hard’, ‘The River Haunt’, ‘If Love Can’t Find a Way’, Stella the Artist, Perfect Place, Black Cadillac, Short People (from the Little Criminals album), Bob Dylan again with ‘Only A Pawn In Their Game’ from ‘The Times They Are A’Changin’, Good Morning Happiness, and Elvis Presley’s ‘Suspicious Minds’.

Funny, funny. Made my day. Thanks, David. Nothing wrong with a little subtlety in your snark! Unlike those ridiculous pieces of nasty Palin groupies on KWHL.

Jeez, we had a soap opera filmed in my home town, and I never watched it, found it dull. (Since Cancelled) But it did put dollars into the towns coffers. And it was a topic of conversation once in a while.

And here I am fixated on the O’Paylin family soap opera, when all I had to do was get out of my car to watch proffessionals filming some of their ridiculous plot lines at the cemetary, the church, the park, the local Tavern. $arah O’Paylins plot line is more ridiculous than any of the good twin, bad twin, actress back from the dead storyline that ever was dreamed up by a script writer..

The woman is like a Vampire, no one has the guts to put a stake through her heart, too cowardly like McCain. He should have given her the boot for the good of the country, when it was obvious she was nuttier than a fruitcake.
