Wow, just watched about 2 minutes of Palins 6 plus minute responce. I didn’t understand a word she said, “The American people disconnected with this top down approach and with job creation started by inspiring families and small businesses with help from the governemnt but not with the government taking over heathcare, which is one six of our national budget.” Uh, what?

A new thread is up with the entire transcript. Oy. AKM

Mazel tov, Ujang, and thanks for a fresh smile to start the day.

I’m still breaking out in that fine Obama grin thinking of our President’s speech last night, also, too, now, and going to share it with my co-workers and students and smilingly chew on that feast of a speech and savor the yumminess and take sustenance for the work at hand. Also, too, we don’t quit.

    Have a happy, everyone.

Congratulations Ujang! Wonderful and well deserved. We want a report on your trip to Washington, DC when you’re done. : )

Does GVS always look like she’s smelled something bad or was last night an exception?

After trying to read some of Granny Palin’s word salad thinking I might have to pour bleach in my eyes, I’ve decided to read my President’s speech again. It will make me feel so much better.

Congrats and enjoy your trip to DC! Well deserved!

Just got done watching Palin on Greta’s show. I’ve decided that she absolutely does not have a degree in journalism. My theory is that she spent a lot of time playing jello shot games instead of going to classes and she was so darn good at it that her party mates printed up and framed a ” Bachelor of Applied Jelloism ” certificate for her. She’s just pronouncing it wrong when she talks about it. This theory would help to explain Granny a$$hat’s improper use of words like “rememberance” and ” he”. ( for gawdz sake – ” HE ” )

Thanks for that link from the previous thread. ( can’t rememberance who posted it though ) ha!

Here’s the video for those who haven’t seen it. Her crap starts around the 4 min. mark and 4:20 is the “rememberance” remark. I can almost forgive “mandation” because she’s a really good mimic and she may have heard someone use that non-word in the past and it stuck in her little parrot brain. But this ? Unforgivable and she sounds like a hick. ( also noticed that it looks like she had to really work at reminding herself to smile and to control her breathing. )

Along with the Dunn book, Amazon is selling “Thanks But No Thanks: The Voter’s Guide to Sarah Palin” by Sue Katz, published while Palin was running for VP. I’ve never heard it mentioned but it looks interesting. It appears be take a mainly feminist perspective and while I doubt that it would have new information, chapter headings dealing with the rape kit scandal and SP’s attitude to gays sound provocative. I think it may have been the first book to debunk Palin. Has anyone read it?

buffalo gal thanks for the link but when i saw karl rove i had to ditch the video. one of the many bushies who imo should be in prison not on TV! cannot stand to look at or hear the sound of rove’s voice. palin to me in the brief look i took appeared nervous as hell. as well she should be – why oh why is the palin phenomenon. she’s barely literate, immature, vindictive, greedy, disgusting, dishonest. eh. i despise faux news and the amoral repukes they serve up while calling it news, or commentary. it’s all bu**s**t

From pimp house to parent’s house

……..What a big come-down for high-flying ace investigative reporter James O’Keefe: As a condition of his release from a metro New Orleans jail, the 25-year-old O’Keefe has been ordered by a federal judge to reside with his parents in New Jersey…….

barbara @17 – Sorry about that ! I should added a warning that Rove was in the video. I can’t stand to see or listen to him either so I just let the video load in the background and then skipped to the Palin segment.

I’ve watched this clip a number of times and still can’t get over the fact that she’s drawing a salary for this crap. Maybe Rev. Muthee really CAN cast spells.

watching palin on hannity on youtube from last night (btw couldn’t finish watching – something about her voice and the way she puts words together – so freakin’ annoyin’ :) )…anyway, she is lisping!!!! and her lower lip keeps shifting to one side…sounds a lot like daffy duck. wtf
is that from all the botox or lip plumping? did she forget to take out the whitening tray, or did somebody finally knock her teeth out!??!!!!

{ Bachman and Blackburn are OUT } Also on the Huffpo I believe.
    ————————————–
“We’re out,” said Bachmann spokesman Dave Dziok. “It comes down to conflicting advice as to how these profits are going to be used after the fact. We’d rather err on the side of caution than do it and find out it’s improper… with somebody saying ‘they’re using the money from an event you were at to support this and this,’ which comes as a direct conflict with what you’re doing as a member of Congress.”

One of the only other elected officials scheduled to appear, Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., also has backed out, citing similar concerns.

Did anyone else see The Colbert Report from Tues where he showed an embryo holding a rifle or some type of gun? He made a comment about needing fewer cesareans because babies could shoot their way out. It reminded me of that weird “gift” AKM got that looked like $P/ Grifter Granny.

I wonder if he and his writers read this blog.

Did anyone watch Oprah today…interview of Jay Leno? Let me begin by saying I’m not someone who watches either Leno or Conan as I favor Letterman. But, Oprah questioned Jay like I’ve never seen done before (and I’ve rarely watched her show throughout the years). My biggest point about all of this reference is the fact that she never questioned Palin in any way, shape or form comparatively as to the way she went after Leno! I plan on contacting her as to her questioning techniques when I compare her Leno show to the two she did w/Palin. There is absolutely no comparison and it makes me mad as hell!
