Tiptoeing Through the Muck of Alaskan Politics

The Arrogance of Joe Miller (Updated With Blame)

You hear an awful lot from the Joe Miller campaign about Lisa Murkowski being “entitled” and acting like she’s owed the senate seat. It seems to bug them.  And it bugs a lot of Alaskans.

These Tweets from Joe Miller were captured by a Murkowski supporter before Miller deleted them. Apparently, someone else had to point out that they revealed his own arrogance and sense of entitlement.

Alaskans still get to go to the ballot box before you pick out the drapes, Joe.

Do us all a favor.  Click your heels together three times and go back to Kansas.  Alaskans don’t need another arrogant, smug, entitled politician who’s in it to climb the ladder of their own ambition.  We’ve had enough.

Today is the end of the quarter, and an important fundraising deadline. Joe Miller has spent the last few days in DC raising gobs of money from people who aren’t Alaskan, to further an agenda that isn’t Alaskan. Let’s keep this Palin-appointee out of Washington.

Donate to Scott McAdams HERE.

And blame someone else in 3… 2… 1…

UPDATE: For the second time Joe Miller has blamed a campaign worker for saying dumb stuff on his Twitter account and pretending to be him.  First, it was calling Lisa Murkowski and/or the Libertarian Party whores, and now someone else was apparently house hunting, measuring the drapes, and prying Lisa Murkowski’s name plate off the door before voters have gone to the voting booth.  The Associated Press reports:

Statements from Miller’s Twitter feed late Wednesday, when he was in Washington, D.C. fundraising, said he thinks he’ll “do some house hunting.” He also says he figures he should pick out office furniture and expressed appreciation for the welcome he’d received – including from those he called future colleagues.

The campaign of U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski labeled this “hubris.”

The tweets later disappeared. Miller spokesman Randy DeSoto said Thursday that they came from a volunteer who will no longer have access to the account. DeSoto said the tweets were deleted because the campaign considered them inappropriate.

I label that “jackassery.”  I wonder if he’ll do any better picking people to run the show when he’s in D.C.?  Good thing Alaskans get to vote on that first.  Right, Joe?

Meanwhile, Scott McAdams had a tweet of his own in response to the aforementioned hubristic jackassery.

@JoeWMiller: While you’re in DC picking out office furniture, I’m in Anchorage introducing my plan to get Alaskans back to work.

He shoots, he scores!

More on McAdams’ jobs plan coming soon.

is true that Lisa seemed to flip flop on how she actually voted on some important issues..ie the new health

While trying to sleep last night, I was thinking about Miller and his sense of entitlement. I hope that Alaskans are communicating his lack of caring to those in the Bush who might otherwise vote for him if they don’t get the daily info that we are privy to through our computers.

It is very important for the Bush to know that Scott McAdam will be the best representative for them, not another GOP operative.

With the inherent issues of getting information to all Alaskans no matter where they are, I hope that the McAdam campaign is working hard to get the word out to all – and that other Alaskans are also ensuring that the lack of caring for anyone other than himself is at the heart of Joe Miller’s desire to be the next Alaskan senator. Alaskans will rue the day he gets elected if they allow this to happen.

My thoughts are with you all in this election. You have suffered from earlier choices; I sure hope this time eyes are wide open and good choices are being made. Best of luck!

I can confirm that yes, the state currently uses some Diebold machines (shudder).
