Mitt Romney – Fiscal Asshat

They thought they were working for a fiscal conservative, but Romney staffers discovered in the wee hours on election night that they were actually working for a fiscal asshat. This would not have come to a shock to those kicked to the curb by Bain Capital, but campaign staffers were Lucy-with-the-footballed.

From the moment Mitt Romney stepped off stage Tuesday night, having just delivered a brief concession speech he wrote only that evening, the massive infrastructure surrounding his campaign quickly began to disassemble itself.

Aides taking cabs home late that night got rude awakenings when they found the credit cards linked to the campaign no longer worked.

 Doh.

Nothing like working yourself into oblivion for your candidate, heading home in defeat, and having to scrounge for pocket change to pay your cab fare.

It tells us (and them) a lot about what their would-have-been boss really thinks of those under him. That trickle down got shut off at the spigot the minute Cinderella’s coach turned back into a pumpkin.

Bullet dodged.

His staffers found out they are really members of the 47%.

    Poor Willard M Rmoney. Not.
You get what you give, eh?

Here’s hoping we hear even less from “W” Rmoney than we’ve heard from “W” Bush lately.

Personally, I’d like to see them both do the perp~walk, complete with orange jumpsuits and pink bracelets…
first in a Long Line of treasonous seditionists, war criminals, liars, hate-and-fear mongers, also, too. That would be quite a parade.

    Hey, Allen West, you lost.
You brewed that bitter tea, so now,
in the immortal words of justagirlfromhomer, “Suck it up, buttercup!”
    hahahahahacawCaw CAW!

Since I am accused of fact checking everything, I’m asking this to be fact checked. I fully accept the possibility, but would like some verification.

When the pundits enumerate the various groups that supported President Obama so well, they never mention the Native Americans, who fought hard to protect their right to vote and then voted. I’d like to see them counted more specifically than as part of the “other” non-Caucasians who voted for President Obama. After all, they were here first!

    “the Help” just got fired.

Mitt’s not the only post elsction douche. Our very own John Husted seems to think it’s ok to be an asshat since Ohio went to Obama anyway. Only the judge doesn’t see it that way.

America dodged a serious bullet on election night! This is exactly what would have happened under a Romney Presidency – he would have left the country in a worse economic shambles and Americans would have been left with no cab fare home.

America would have ended up like Sensata left Bainport – we’d all be living in tents while training our Chinese counterparts how to do our jobs.

  8. slipstream says:

Well, I wondered why my credit card stopped working.

  9. AKblue says:

The staffers shouldn’t have been surprised. He’s been consistently heartless, thoughtless, and totally out of touch with anyone who wasn’t like him.

  10. NorthernJoy says:

Imagine the “what ifs” swirling in Romney’s head right now … just the thought has me smiling.

  11. merrycricket says:

Guess they were worried someone might get the idea to use their credit card to buy some campaign souvenirs Palin style.

Tea Party leader Allen West wants ballots, voting machines impounded

Another race that will be interesting to watch!
But since this is in Florida——it may take a long time coming.

    • Michael says:

So, the “fiscally-conservative” tea party is going to waste thousands of dollars trying to prove some elaborate conspiracy theory exists rather than just face the fact that their candidates are simply bat-shit crazy and didn’t deserve another term?

    • Alaska Pi says:

There’s a hearing today at noon EST on Mr West’s recount demand :
      http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2012/nov/08/1st-court-hearing-allen-wests-demand-recount-thurs/?partner=popular

We’ll have a better idea how long and what and all after that.

A special shout out to friend in Florida who knocked on over 100 doors a day for the last few weeks and helped get people to the (limited) early vote and election day polls! You done good, girl!
Am only a teensy bit jealous you got to meet Mr Obama along the way and super proud you especially asked him to keep on keeping we ladies in mind.

Mr Romney’s campaign really turned off credit cards?!
      Oh, yay.
How to reward folks who busted their buns for your candidate. Not

  13. wallflower says:

The conservative media machine is already shredding Romney’s staff and blaming them for his loss.

    • John says:

He either did it to himself, or he listened and believed stupid advice. Either way, he has only himself to blame. Now, Baine Capital is in the process of selling off the pieces.

    • lacy lady says:

      Who will these guys blame:

Todd Akin (MO), Richard Mourdock ( IN) Roger Rivard ( WI) Joe Walsh ( ILL) Tom Smith (PA) John Koster ( WA) VP Candidate Paul Ryan ( WI)
      ALL LOSERS!!!!!!!!
Hope they look up the word RAPE!

  14. Buffalogal says:

I think every one of them should go ahead and contact any media outlet that will pay them for their commentary. My guess is that any non-disclosure agreement only pertained to the campaign itself. Once that was officially over by way of the concession speech, they should be free agents. Cover the cab fare and get the truth out at the same time.

  15. Fine Day says:

After all, he does like to fire people…….apparently before they can ever make it home.

  16. UgaVic says:

Wonder if those staffers will look closer at the next campaign they decide to get involved with? Chances are those on the lower end of the wage scale were cut off first.

    An awakening!

  17. rrs0426 says:

It’s precicesly the type of behaviour I would expect from him, perfectly true-to-form.

  18. lacy lady says:

    Par for the course!

  19. Hobojohn says:

They entire campaign including Ann and Mitt are now part of the 47 percenters. Ryan some how convinced Wisconsin to give him another term in the can’t do Congress which seems suits him perfectly.

  20. tallimat says:

    Good grief.
