Happy Weekend! (Easy on the cliff jumping.)

I hope you’re doing something fun this weekend. Here’s something on which yours truly will be taking a pass: a 600ft rope swing bungee jump into South Africa’s Magwa Falls gorge:

Sure. If all your friends jumped over a cliff, would you jump over a cliff?

looks like fun !!! but don’t think the old back could take the strain anymore….. so I’m off in a bit to go launch Rockets… gonna try for 10k today..

That is a lot of rockets,Ben. Do they grow in your garden? Low sixties by Monday. Maybe snow on Tuesday. Let’s see if this gets moderation. BTW-how did the de-hydrator work for you last year? :)

chortle.. guess I should have put it as altitude.. hit 7.5k, need to reduce weight a bit or work on the flight angle a bit more, had to walk over a mile to recover it !! which in a big cow pasture with all those “Land Mines” is a bit daunting ! thank goodness for the Garmin dog collar, would never have found it otherwise!
Dehydrator worked well last year, but the women in the house STILL won’t let me make venison jerky!!… Maybe if I send them off to the mall in SF for the weekend…….. let’s see, dress out time… drying time,,,hhmm might just make it!

Us flatlanders have no use for altitude, unless it is used to compare the heighth of corn to an elephant’s eye. You left-coasters have more fun than me. I’m watching snow melt. Icicles are gone from the house.

No, thanks. I’d gladly rappel down. The video reminds me just how much I dislike contemporary music. No passion, no emotion, and definitely wrong for the images.

Whoa! I even have a hard time just watching the video. I trust we will soon see Sarah, Todd and Putin swinging out over the cliff, and wrasslin’ lions at the bottom. Because REALITY, FREEDOM, and prolly no bears around for Vladimir. Don’t know as how Todd ever got hisself into the wrasslin’ critters thing, but Sarah could bring her new firearm and lots of ammo down with her just in case the lion was over strong. Vlad might need a new shirt, also, too, for the trip up after the slayin’ stuff. Looks like being hauled up those rocks might chaff a bit on the mighty chest. ‘Course, with Sarah on the gun, mayhap a Kevlar vest would be a better choice.
