Hi all, nice to see you here.

I'm a 61 year old living in the beautiful state of Oregon.  I came here from California four years ago.  I'm a certified newsaholic and political junkie.  Right now I'm feeling pretty good about the possibilities for the future.  But, I am also researching places to live if the Republicans are able to steal the upcoming election.  Right now Costa Rica is at the top of my list.

Hi,
I live near Portland, own my own business, and consider myself a part time community activist. I am a life long democrat both small and large "D".
I am so encuraged by those of us who are older (I am 58) who have learned at least some of the skills to work "the google and the tubes" enough to stay somewhat current and contribute to our society. I simply cannot imagine a United States of America with John and Sarah in Washington DC.
Glad to know that there are Mudflaters in Oregon.   Cool

Hi katiebegood.  Always enjoy your posts.  Glad you don't have to move to Costa Rica.

Party!

Greetings from Cecily.

Hi there Oregon folks. I used to live in Eugene. I miss it very much. I'd move back there in a heartbeat.

Hello KatieB,
I'm trying to track down a possible Oregon Mudstock. Thought I'd read about it somewhere, but I don't get onto the forum much, preferring the blog.
We are planning on a move to Oregon in early 2009 and  I'd be all for a NW Mudstock.
