Hi from Judi B in Jersey City, NJ

Oh wow! I think I figured it out!! Now, I have to write this introduction and post it before I know for sure...

Anyway, I am Judi B from beautiful Jersey City in the very blue Hudson County, New Jersey. I am late, late 60s (oh, all right, I turned 70 in May). I live with my husband, Allan and three cats - Emma (Maine Coon) Simon and Peter (Norwegian Forest Cats).

I was an early Obama supporter (Jan 2008) and voted for him in the Feb Super Tuesday. My husband voted for Hillary, but soon joined me in the Obama space.

I have been in educational publishing my whole career, Harcourt, Pearson, Holt Rinehart and Winston. Now they all belong to each other. Was a book designer, then production manager then a production director, then in sales.

Was born in CT, lived in MA till 1980 when I moved to NYC. Moved to Orlando with Harcourt and fled back to the Northeast in 7 months. (I did miss the fall leaves and the snow). In the early 60s I lived in Madrid, Spain. What in the world is wrong with John McCain??? The Spaniards are great people. When I lived there, it was a dictatorship with Gen. Franco. Now it is a huge democracy and they are sooo brave and sassy. I wish all of us in the USA could have half the democratic spririt that those folks have. I also was a 9/11 survivor (not in but close by) and am really angry that the GOP have hijacked that for political reasons. They have no shame.

I found Mudflats right after the GOP hate fest (convention) and visit it throughout the day. It is on my Bookmarks (yes I have a MAC) along with Huffpo and TMP.

I live in a blue state, and am insulted because that right wing vet PAC is running ads here on TV against Obama. I want to spit on the TV screen. Angry
