I thought that the little red sheet, hiding behind the white sheet, at the side of a thread title said whether we had posted in that thread.  But I've found some threads that I know I posted in, and can even find the post so it didn't get lost in the etherworld, where there isn't hte little red sheet.  So now I'm not sure what that is, and if there is a way to tell if I have posted.  I know some boards have that feature, but not sure if this one does.

Thanks for hte help.

Lucy,

The icon you saw....the white sheet of paper...shows the popularity of the topic.  One red sheet behind it means that there have been more than 20 comments, two sheets means over 40 comments.

Besides using the search box, you can find your posts by going to your profile page.  Towards the bottom of the page, you'll see "Show the last posts of this person".

When you click on it, you'll be taken to a list of all your posts.

Hope that helps.

The more you know, the less you need.

The highlighted phrase "Show new replies to your posts" is at the top left side of each page.  Click it to pull up any new posts on threads to which you previously posted.

One additional method to use when you're trying to find a post...

Click on the name of the board (i.e. Sarah Palin), and you'll see the topics in that board sorted by chronological order (the one with the most recent comment shows up first).

Each of the column headings (Subject     Started by     Replies     Views     Last post ) can be used to sort the topics.  For example, if you click on the heading "Started By", the system will re-organize the topics, listing the members' names in alphabetical order.  Click on the same heading again, and it will re-sort in reverse alphabetical order.  Page through it, and you'll find all the topics you started in the board, neatly listed together.

This should make it easier to page through and find the post you want.
