WWWV = Wild Wonderful West Virginia   Cheesy

Yay, a forum for us!  Thank you!

I'm a working woman, a senior, an Internet addict since I discovered it in 1994, and a political junkie.  I live outside the beltway (that's Washington, DC lingo for I-495) but my radio is tuned to WAMU (NPR station at American University in DC) and many folks who live around here take the train down to southern MD and DC to work.

I've been tuning in to Mudflats blog ever since the surprise Republican running-mate announcement, and I only wish I could remember how I found it.  Probably one of my extensive Google searches for anything to do with Pitbull Barbie.

I consider myself an Independent, but for this election I will vote Obama-Biden.  I simply cannot fathom a McDoddering / Mooselini administration.  When I was posting furiously on CNN's forum (they had one during the 1999 election cycle) pointing out what a poor choice G.W. would be as President, those who were for him said, "If he does win, how much harm could he do in just 4 years?"  I wonder if they see, now, what they couldn't see then.

You know, I think we were all doing the same thing at the same time that fateful day when Caribou Barbie was announced... frantically typing in to Google... and wild as it may seem, we all came to the same place... magic, kismet, Universal Mind, I dunno... but like that scary movie said....

"we're heeeeerrrr!"
