Hello everyone,

I am Nixmama for Obama.  I am so glad to have found this forum and such a large and wonderful group of Mudflatians.  Like so many others I seriously would have been in depths of despair had I not found this website and had to rely only the MSM for facts in this most important election year.

A big thank you to everyone who is working so hard to get the all of the relevant information out to the masses and to those who are giving of their time, money and talents to see that the Obama/Biden ticket succeeds in winning this election.

Way to go Cassie...that does my heart good!  I am going to one of several phone parties in my area alone organized by MoveOn.org on Saturday to dial my fingers to the bone for the Obama campaign.  I am 47 and although I have always been attune to the political scene and have never missed voting in an election since I was old enough to vote, this is the very first time that I have ever been inspired to get out and actually work for a campaign.  I'm excited and pleased about your success today.  It's like a tonic!

Hey Southern Illinios - I'm a 1970 grad of Carbondale Community High School. College in Bloomington. Now 33 years in west suburban Chicago. I lived in C'dale in radical times. Beautiful down there. Keep the Dem fires burning down there will ya?!
