In case you didn't read Snos' new entry in the "Forum How to Guides" section, the forum has now been updated so your location is now visible next to your user name when posting.
You can edit your profile to change how the information appears and it is optional to provide it.
You can decide the degree of specificity or lack thereof.
So, you no longer have to view someone's profile to see with what part of the world you're communicating and in a forum like Action Alerts, it can be especially helpful.

Providing everyone updates their profile, of course.
I think at minimum which country you are in would be ok to provide, and probably the state.
but whatever people feel comfortable with. If that turns out to be "somewhere in the universe" then that's cool too.
