"How can I help you?"

« on: September 19, 2008, 02:19:06 pm »

Greetings everyone,

By way of introduction..., I'm sort of a semi-geezer, activist type (ya'know..., one of those people with NO responsibilitys), and I've been a Mudpuppy for about 2 months now (give or take).

I got here courtesy of Celtic Diva's Blue Oasis, another good Alaskan Blog, and I'm an Independant Progressive..., if I must be labeled.
I'm mostly a "lurker/reader tho I occasionaly jump in, and post, when the waters warm.

I've lived in Alaska for 17 years split between Homer and Soldotna, and came here via Las Vegas, D.C (Grad school), and various Pacific warm water areas (So.Cal., Santa Cruz (Undergrad), and HI).
IMO, life didn't exist pre-sixties (tho I did), and now that I've found Paradise..., I"M NEVER LEAVING! (NOTE: except for short periods)

I'm glad to be here on the Mudflats, but Clamming is bad!

 Cheesy
Hi there! I posted this question earlier in the chat, but couldn't remember the name of your town. How did your rally go?

Welcome Gamebird  Kelp.
Know Soldotna well. My hubby used to work for Laidlaw Transit there as a mechanic.

We left Alaska in 2003 for Arkansas and are going to be returning for good early next year. Miss the fishing, the snow and our dear friends.
