Hi, I grew up in Alaska - grade school in North Pole, attended and graduated from Bartlett High School in Anchorage. I now live with my wife & kid in Michigan's Upper Peninsula next to Lake Superior - which is about as close looking to Alaska as you can get in the Lower 48 (although Maine, Wisconsin and Minnesota also look a lot like Alaska). I'm definitely an Obama/Biden supporter, and am definitely shocked and horrified whenever I turn on the news and hear yet more foolishness that Palin has spoken. It's incredible to me that mooseburger, wolves, Wasilla and the Ketchikan bridge are on national news lately. It's all like some kind of weird strange dream... At any rate, I am very happy to see the reports here in Mudflats about the exciting campaign events taking place in my home state - especially the wonderful, well-attended rallies in Anchorage in support of Obama. Give 'em hell, Alaskans!

Yay! I remember how Bartlett rival schools would chant: "Can the Bartlett Bears!" LOL!

(And something about eating eagles/lynx/imaginary flaming bird creatures/my little ponies)

Oh yes, hell they shall get.  Devil Especially when Palin return to Alaska as an unpopular failure with troopergate questions awaiting her.

Welcome!

Turns out to be a pretty thin veneer after all....
