Seachangecoming here.  Out of Austin, TX, live music capital of the world.  The best Tex-Mex too.  My very first chat room experience.  Prompted to join because of something I was just reading from the Times, which I suppose I should put in the Troopergate thread.  Nevertheless, came here from the Northeast to attend graduate school and just haven't had the wherewithal to leave.  Lived all over the US.  Done all sorts of work.  That's enough for now.  I'll head over to the TThread and post my thoughts.  Thanks for the forum.

Hi there.  I'm Dit-Dot.  Another darn Texan.  Wish I could say that I was also from Austin.  ove that town.  Very blue, best music festivals and a hell of a lot of fun.  But, no, I'm from Big D, i.e., J.R. and Sue Ellen country.  I do love Alaska.  Have been to the Anchorage area several times to run in the Midnight Sun marathon.  Another time made stops in Juneau and Ketchikan while on a cruise.  Anyways, 'nuf about me.  A big round of KUDDOS to Mudflats.  LOVE your blog.  Found Mudflats about six weeks ago.  Guess I can thank Sarah for leading me to you.  As soon as Sarah was announced as McCain's VP, I googled "Alaska + blogs".  Checked out numerous blogs, but kept coming back to Mudflats every day since then.  Keep up the excellent blogging.  Even after Sarah makes her way back to Alaska for good three weeks from now, I will keep visiting your blog on a regular basis.

Hey Texan. Love them ribs round Austin. Just too much good to eat. And I am partial to sweet tea.
