Welcome aboard! I went to Va Tech and worked there for ten years. I grew up about 60 miles from there.

I'm very familiar with that area ... I grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

I just posted my "Hello" and then ran down through the others. Great to see more Virginian's! I am also a VT alum and still call SWVA my home. Gotta run for now!

Richmond in the house, keep up the great work mudflats. Now you need your own line of down with Palin t-shirts.
I'd by a dozen

SW VA here! Outside Roanoke. Just learned today that VA has "early voting." Anyone know how that is done? I don't think it refers to absentee ballots. It would be great to be able to vote at our leisure instead of waiting in line.

I called the board of elections today and VA only has early absentee voting.

Thanks, Cookie. After posting the above, I found the link to check on early voting and that is what it said as well.

Hey from a Virginian (Staunton) currently in Scotland but returning to VA in December. I'm hearing lots of pro-Obama coming out of the Commonwealth. Hope it is strong and continues until Election Day.
