I'm a former Alaskan and now live in the lower 48. It's been a few weeks now since all the craziness started and I am still dumbfounded!

Having lived in Illinoiis (state motto: "get indicted" is part of the governor's job description),I know that it speaks volumes that you think that the events of the last few weeks are weird!

Even by Illinois political standards the past couple weeks have been chaotic.

Hello from NewJersey. Never lived anywhere but here. However, I have developed a acute interest in Alaska as of late. New to this chat room/forum kind of thing. Very much a neophyte when it comes to internet communication. Usually just read the news and some shopping. However, I have been addicted to this blog and have been "lurking" for almost a month now.

Greetings from Southern Illinois. I've been reading your blog since the day Palin was announced as Veep choice and I've sent everyone I talk to over to read you, too. You're doing a fantastic job and it's much appreciated!
Love your new site. Thanks for creating it!
