Hello everyone. I have been lurking here for a while, ever since I found a link in the Huffington Post, and just registered today. I am very impressed with your site and want to say thank you from the second-biggest state in the union.  Smiley

Hi there Tex!
I'm in San Antonio and will be in your town this weekend so my husband can ride in the Lance Armstrong ride.
My brother-in-law lives in P-ville.
Welcome to the mud!
It's great being stuck here!

I Need Coffee! Howdy, Pflugerville, I am right down the road from you in beautiful Austin, Texas. (For all you Mudflatters, there is an Austin Lounge Lizards song called, appropriately, Pflugerville, in which the boys harmonize most wonderfully on that name.)

I have been here at Mudflats since the terrible black day that our participatory democracy was permanently and indelibly stained by the nomination of Bible Spice to be VP. My patriotic heart was nearly broken by the cynical mendacity of this choice and I feel like going to one of McCain's many houses and throwing my Army decorations over his fence. Loathing can't even begin to describe my feelings for these people.

Mudflats and the seemingly instant community that formed in the wake of this travesty has been a regular stop for me many times a day ever since. All Hail, AKM! I, by God, love it.

However, I'm a senior and I had to go to the horse pistol for a while, so I missed the solution to the The Mudflats.net deal and never found out why that came all a cruppers. If anybody can enlighten me in this regard, I would appreciate it. Appreciate it!

I am in love with so many of you that I will just say that I truly love you all. You give me hope for America.
