Hello Mudflats and fellow Mudpuppies!

I found Mudflats the weekend mccain announced the beauty queen as his VP choice.  Thank goodness I did because I don't know how I would have otherwise gotten through this surreal campaign.  mccain has had a lot of radio and tv ads in my area but Obama has finally begun airing a few.  He has a great one airing often on the radio (a top 40 station) with testimonials about why people registered to vote.  I'm sure it's in other areas, too.  Florida is starting to look a little better for Obama.

The beauty queen is suppose to be in Orlando on Saturday and in The Villages (a retirement community north of Orlando) on Sunday.   I'll be avoiding the TV news this weekend since I'm betting it will be all beauty queen all the time.

Howdy!  And greetings from Alaska.  We moved up to Alaska from Central Florida in August 2007.  I must admit, I'm curious to hear how Central Florida will spin in the next few months.  My spider senses are tingling and I've got a good feeling about Florida this time around!

Until these last few days, very pro-mccain, I believe.  Might see some change with the economic fallout.  Someone who works in my building was telling me she knows 3 of her co-workers who voted for bush are voting for Obama this time.  So I do think there's underground support.  Obama will be in Jacksonville on Sunday which has a lot of military personnel, mostly Navy.  I'm interested in how many people show up for both his and the beauty queen's appearances.

I hope so.  I remember standing in line to vote in 2004 and the people around me were all complaining about job security, wages, health insurance, the war BUT they were there to vote for bush.

On thing's for sure, elections are very interesting in Florida.
