Hello to all
I am hoping that this goes to the introduction forum. Please help if I get this in the wrong place and accept my apology.
I live in the deep south....Mississippi.... and not being from here, makes the isolation even worse. With much delight and relief in finding Mudflats, I have read every bit written for quite some time now.
With admiration,
Dianna

Kiterea,
Did you go on Huffington Post and see the video of the McCain supporters in PA? Scary people. I haven't seen anything like that down here in MS... not outward hostility like that but the mentality exists.
Good to meet you!

I am not sure what I did.. I have crashed a computer or two in my life from ignorance and sheer determination to plow right on through. I think I can, I think I can....

Hello and how are things going in your neck of the woods? What is the political tide in your local area? Just curious.

I'm lucky... I live in a very blue area in a solidly blue state.
And I'm proud to report that in my condo building (with 14 units), we have five hybrid owners (three Civic Hybrids and two Priuses)!

Alex,
Lol! All pickup trucks here. Okay, not ALL but it is the vehicle of choice with a certain flag displayed proudly.

Mimi,
Thank you, thank you! I am going out canvassing this Sat. and this should be an adventure. Little nervous down here, but determined.
Might have missed it as I am still getting the hang of posting, but what state are you in?

I'm from North Carolina, still waiting to hear the final results for our state. Just wanted to thank you for providing a safe haven for me during the campaign. All the information you shared, I could share with relatives, friends, and coworkers. I want you to know that you have made a huge difference in the world and the United States. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
