I'm located in Macomb County Michigan, home of the Republican Caging Campaign. (Not one of our most shining moments, but it seems to be what we're in the national news for)  I'm not really sure what I did pre-mudflats, but I'm certainly glad I stumbled in.  It's nice to know there is a place to come to where there is a bit of sanity, voices of reason, and great people.

Hi MissSue! Funny, I always assumed out on the blog that your handle was short for Mississippi! Ah well, judge me not, and I'll try to avoid it, also. Welcome

Oh, and what's a Yooper?

I live in Hillsborough, NC.  We worked very hard here to turn NC Blue this year.  I have really enjoyed reading Mudflats.  I love the moose pictures!

Oh, and what's a Yooper?

A Yooper  lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  As in Da UP (pronounced ewe-pea) or Da Yoop.  Michiganders living in the Lower Peninsula (that's the Mitten part) are Trolls, because they live Under/Below da Bridge (the Mackinac Bridge which connects Upper and Lower Michigan).  And that's pronounced Mack-in-awe.
