The NY Post is reporting a strong rumor that Ann Coulter had her jaw wired shut. 23/6 has some fake sympathy cards.

If true, you couldn't have written a comedy sketch any better Grin

"They" say she took a bad spill, but I can't imagine it's that common the break a jaw in a fall without, as far as we know, injuring any other part of the body.

I broke my jaw without even knowing it. I fell, bumped my chin and broke my jaw in two places --one on each side of my chin about half way to the joint. My dentist asked me about two months later what happened. I told him and he told me I broke my jaw. He said it is the "glass jaw" effect. Hit the chin in just the right spot dead on and both sides of the jaw break. Hit it just off center to one side or the other and only one side will break. As much as I don't like Ann Coulter, it is entirely possible to have a broken jaw without so much as a bruise.
