hi all...
i'm not at all concerned about the final count, icy.
it will be neccesary, however, to have a semi-count at some point after thanksgiving, in order to figure out what provisions are needed.

SO's have been included at the other Mudstock gatherings -- better check with fawnskin to make sure since we meeting at her place rather than a restaurant.

I went through the states list that snos posted and have separated out the socal folks.  I'll send the list to you in a PM.  I suppose a daily comment on the blog with a link to this thread would be advisable.  You want me to do that?

hi gini...yes, it would be lovely if you'd make a daily comment re our mudstock.

as for so's being included, i believe that to be ok. i see by your list that we might have around 25 scal peeps. a group of 25 to 30 would be not be too large.

let's see how it plays out.

and keep those group huggy things coming.

Yay, a SoCal Mudstock! 

I live in the Valley, so going to the West Side isn't so bad.  I would love to go, but will have to RSVP with a "maybe," as I play in a rec. league on Sundays and am unsure of our schedule on the 7th.

I'm pretty much a lurker, but as a committed reader of Mudflats, I think I am definitely a mudpuppy! I'd love to come to a SoCal get-together, but don't know my schedule yet for that week. I work at that BIG happy place in Orange County and I won't get my schedule for the 7th until Nov. 30.

i am gonna keep posting until i graduate from "greenhorn" to "community organizer" or whatever the next level of posting hierarchy is to come.
there should, however be extra posting credit given to those of us who have been at mudflats since day 1 of the swwnbn debacle.

I am so sad  I feel like a lost Mudpuppy -- I didn't make the California list although I am always identified as being in San Diego.
Would love to know the when and where for the first SoCal Mudstock!

   Please don't be    The list was compiled from people who'd introduced themselves in the intro thread.  A PM to fawnskin or to Icy or to Sephy will get you added, but be sure to write an intro post, too, also.

The gathering will be a brunch on Sunday, Dec. 7, beginning at noon at fawnskin's home in West LA.  Icy is preparing a newsletter for people with details.  Not sure when it'll be coming out.  But look further up the thread to find Icy and fawnskin and send them a PM just to make sure you're on the list.  We don't want to leave people out.  It's good that you spoke up!

hope you are all wagging your tails in anticipation of the get-together. i'm so happy that even more pups are showing up than are on the list but i just betcha that icy palin would love to have you register so that her state lists are up-to-date.

i think that we will do a potluck if that is ok. but i will supply the beverages and such and the obama sweet potato pie. if it's too much trouble or if you're not up to bringing something to nosh on, don't worry your collective pretty little heads. i love to provide.
