Mudpups,

They have a place to stay for now.  One of the girls is mid 20's and the other one is late 20's.  They are Asian-American, very petite.  The info I'm getting is that American Express Gift Cards and the Sears cards are what's wanted and the most pratical.

I feel better already.

Any idea of when details will be coming out to us?  And are you coordinating menu or is Fawnskin or are we going totally potluck?  I've offered an egg casserole and some Moose Nuggets (aka roasted potatoes).

gini...i think i'll coordinate the menu cause then i'll know exactly what i need to supplement.

so after thanksgiving when the final list comes out i'll ask what anyone/everyone wants to bring if anything.

So, our hostess with the mostess....

What would you like the rest of us to bring?  Do we need more desserts?  More entrees?  More imbibables?

oh, i so like this power trip. whatever i desire, huh?

well, i've got imbibaments covered. we've got the austratian shiraz which played such an important role on election night . we've some champagne and a bit of oj for a mimosa or two. we have your obligatory pelligrino and sodas and coffee and tea.

i'm gonna play baker and make an obama sweet potato pie. and i have brian moose nuggets which are cranberry/spicey meatballs (i know that gina is bringing brenda moose nuggets which are of the potato variety). then we have assorted little quiches.

so we have four proteins (can you tell i'm a top chef fan) when including gina's egg casserole  and pat's chicken. and aren't there two salads?
then we we have scott's green beans.

and we have the banana pudding and keylime pie and muffins and look to be on the road to generally stuffing ourselves silly.

so what would round out this little feast ...other than another dozen guests?

(we never ever share scalloped potatos with the masses...er,i mean guests. we always sneak scalloped potatos in the kitchen door where the hostess  grabs a kitchen spoon and devours the entire dish).
