I lived for a while in Nevada City/Grass Valley. Loved it there...especially in winter. Do they still "do up" Nevada City for Christmas?
Sitting here in 95 degree heat...Southern California....thinking, thinking, of snow....

I lived on the east side, from Bridgeport in the north to Big Pine in the south, mostly Mammoth (28 years) and Bishop (10 years). I'm not exactly new here, been at the blog since late August and here since mid-September; I just posted to get my name and state on the Mudflats map. I lived in SoCal off and on between 1968 and 1972, saw the writing on the wall way back then. Good luck with those fires!
