A little late out of the gate here but I live in Western Wisconsin in my log home built by the Menonites.  I am currently a loan officer with a company that offers reverse mortgages and just got a letter of interest from a publishing agent regarding my "great american novel"  or whatever.

I watched as our country crashed and burned through the bush years and wept when Obama was elected.  We just need to keep him safe and secure throughout his tenure in office and hope that the changes that are started under his presidency will lead us eventually out of this nightmare wilderness that was created.

It would be fun to plan a meet-up of some Wi and Mn mudflatters.

Never too late!

I love the image of you in a log home...especially a Menonite built home.  Must be lovely.

Very excited too, about your book!  Care to share some of it here with us?

Not yet ready to share but thanks for the support - yes the log house is wonderful and pretty well set up for self - sufficiency - wood heat - rustic and remote for being so close to a city - surrounded by hundreds of acres of fields and woods I can be a hermit!  whoo whoo
