Here I introduced myself in the Aging Hippies thread and the Where are you from Poll, but not here, so I got left off the list.

You can get to know me here.

From Flora Thompson's "Lark Rise to Candleford" "A little later, remembering man's earthly origin, "dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return," they liked to fancy themselves bubbles of earth. When alone in the fields, with no one to see them, they would hop, skip, and jump, touching the ground as lightly as possible... and crying, "We are bubbles of earth! Bubbles of earth! Bubbles of Earth!" "

Poop indeed if you want things to grow!  Poop if Wasilla finally gets all it's sewage infrastructure completed with adequate capacity. And Poop pays if you are off municipal sewer and know how to design septic systems (hopefully environmentally friendly ones).  And, Poop on your most famous resident!

I see you run a plant business.  I love to look at gardens, but just don't like to have to take care of them. I live in Fort Collins, CO, which among other things, is home to The National Center for Genetic Resources Preservation (formerly the National Seed Storage Laboratory), the nation’s seed storage and research lab, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. You can read about it here:

CSU Lab That Studies, Stores World’s Seeds Marks Is 50th year. By Rebecca Boyle, Fort Collins Now, 8/19/08:  http://www.fortcollinsnow.com/article/20080819/MISC12/1306666/1008/NONE&parentprofile=1054&title=CSU%20Lab%20That%20Studies,%20Stores%20World%92s%20Seeds%20Marks%20Is%2050th%20year

Quote
...The lab keeps hundreds of thousands of seeds, from tomatoes to trees, and monitors their viability after decades of storage in frozen vacuum-sealed bags. Researchers want to not only keep the seeds safe, but make sure they can be cultivated into varieties that resist certain bugs, for instance, or are hardy enough to live in drought conditions...

Kind of hard to follow that great thread from Nisperos.  But really appreciate you being here, Jaime.
